Hair stylist Adam is washing his hair in sink pretty unprofessional I walked in the lady at salon Rae was the only person welcoming me, which wasn’t kind, he told me I couldn’t schedule anymore at the salon because I kept canceling it seems to be my fault. I never got a call or a confirmation email or text so it’s his fault. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Adam has been cutting my hair for a few years and always does an excellent job. I only trust him to cut my hair because he knows exactly how to style it the I way I like. Always responsive and on time. Would highly recommend.

Adam is an exceptional, accommodating and creative stylist. He has been cutting and styling my hair for 11 years now. I am always pleased with my haircuts. Recently, he moved to Salon Rae. The salon is clean, has great parking and great atmosphere. I highly recommend Adam and Salon Rae.

I get my cuts done by Adam at Salon Rae, he is fantastic! Looks the same everytime, great consistency and great fades. He's also great with my boys and listens to exactly what my wife wants for them. Wouldn't go anywhere else in the Seattle area and I've been to many before I started getting cut by him.

Adam is my barber In this location, I’ve been cutting my hair with him for a while and I can say for my self that he is amazing at his job and really knows what he is doing, he has been very patient and nice to me for all the time I have been cutting my hair with him and he always makes my hard schedule fit on his calendar. Amazing work would definitely recommend.

Lyda was very nice but she cannot do a balayage. Everything went well until the bleach started coming out. When my hair was dried I was a bit in shock. She asked if I wear my hair straight or curly. I said straight. She said a balayage is for curly hair, if straight I should have asked for highlights. Which is simply NOT true. So I think she also knew it was a bad job. I asked for a partial balayage, it covers most of my head. It is so chunky and harsh throughout. I am going to have to find someone else to try a color correct because I do not trust this salon. I texted her later, a refund is not possible but she did offer to fix it.

Don't do it! Had my hair cut with Lyda and she absolutely shredded my hair with her texturizing scissors! Not only that, I went in with 6” of hair on my crown and came out with 2”!!! I’ve been wearing a bob for over 25 years. This is the second to worst haircut I’ve ever had.Theres holes and unevenness all throughout my entire hair. I wouldn't have her trim my dog. Sad thing is it’s me not her who has to live with this mess for the next 6 months till it grows out. The only reason she has a star is because they won’t let you post wo one. Negative 5 is my rating.

Alright, Kerrie is far and above the best in the business. She did the most amazing manicure ever, it was absolutely gorgeous and has actually stayed on for over two weeks now, no chipping (I am somehow extremely destructive and manage to chip all other manicures including gel and acrylic I within 48 hours). I am overwhelmingly impressed. Never go to another nail salon again - I certainly won’t!

I absolutely loved my experience here. I went in for a partial balayage and haircut. My stylist was Sima. She is so kind and made sure to really understand what I wanted. The results were beyond my expectations. She is a very talented stylist and I'm looking forward to going back.

Very clean friendly salon! They are taking numerous precautions due to Covid which makes you feel very comfortable. Highly recommend Sima for color, she did an amazing job!

Horrible Experience with Lilly!! This review is not specific to the salon, but only towards Lilly. And as much as I feel bad about doing this, I want to give others a heads up so they don't have the same experience. I found Lilly through Groupon and was interested in the cut and balayage offered. I reached out to her directly to see if there were any additional fees because that was not mentioned on the Groupon ad. I was certain with my thick, curly, long hair there would be additional fees so I asked her specifically before purchasing. She told me there were no extra fees and that there was no need to purchase the Groupon and that she would honor their price. No additional questions were asked to me prior to my appointment. I drove over a half hour to my appointment . The moment I arrived I had a bad vibe from her. She questioned why I was there early when I was only 10 mins early, for some reason she thought it was an hour before I was supposed to be there. Before I even sat down in the chair, she mentioned my hair was way thicker than she thought and told me there would be additional fees. Disappointed I even told her I could settle for a partial balayage. Now it wasn't that my hair was thick, but now it was she only did blonde balayage that she didn't have any red dye there. After many excuses to try and get me to decline my scheduled appointment that was supposed to be happening I decided to tell her I didn't want her services and I left. Very unhappy and I can honestly say I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional and rude! What a waste of time!!!

I've been going to Salon Rae for more than 10 years! Usually for manicures, but I'll also do waxing or hair styling. Honestly, I came here originally because I didn't feel other manicurists paid attention to me when I said my thin, ridge-y nails needed a gentle touch. Kerrie is meticulous, careful, and a lot of fun to talk with. (She loves dogs, which is always a good conversation starter.) Salon Rae is worth a long drive!

If you are looking into going to Salon Rae, specifically Lily at Salon Rae, I urge you to please read my experience in the photos. I wrote a lengthy review because I wanted to have all of the details about what happened in it, and it was too long to write on Yelp so I took screen shots of what I wrote. This review is not necessarily for the salon itself, but for one stylist in the salon. I felt the need to post a rating and review for the salon because people need to know that this happened in this salon. This review is not made out of ill intentions, but primarily so no one makes the same mistake I did. The other stylist I had communicated with at the salon was fantastic and really helped, which I am so thankful for, but what was done should have never happened in the first place, especially for $240. I don't know if it was due to being in a rush, incompetency, or being tired, but there is no excuse for what happened. Please take a look at the photos of my hair and my story of what happened.

Somebody mess up with my appointment. I arrived Saturday September 28th and I was not in the book. Sadly I don’t remember who took my appointment over the phone last week. I arrived and the front desk person was busy with someone else, so I sat down waiting for my appointment, then a walk in came in. When the receptionist finished with the other client, she takes care of the walk in instead of me, I was next hello!? So I went inside to look for somebody else to help me and some nice girl took care of me, sadly just to find out she can’t find me in the book again and the front desk lady nicely offers to take care of me AFTER the walk in?!?!? No thank you!!!!

Stylist Lilly is the one that gets a 1 star review. I've had no trouble with the other stylists. Im really trying to be fair in this review, but I am very upset. I came in with long hair and asked for a short bob. I brought several pictures of short bobs. I however got a lopsided, uneven, and full 2" shorter than any of the pictures. She kept saying "trust me you'll love it", but also going back to "even it out" or "fix the texture" 4 times, getting shorter each time. I finally stopped her when she pulled out the clippers. Two other stylists have been stumped by what I asked for vs what I got. Its not the shock of going short... this isn't even a good haircut. The back is uneven and is short up to my crown. No bobs are like that.
