I saw Jordan for the second time today. She did an amazing haircut for me back in August of 2024 and I had a more complicated situation this time, so I went back to her because I trusted her. I bought clip in extensions that were a little too long and I needed them to be cut to blend in better with my hair, which also well past due for a trim. I’ve also been dealing with hair loss and regrowth. The baby hairs on my hairline grow in weird directions and they’re very irritating to work with. Jordan initially cut longer curtain bangs because I was unsure if I wanted to commit to bangs during the beginning of my appointment, but towards the end I decided to just go with bangs and I am so happy with them. They are perfectly shaped and they suit my face so well. The appointment felt like more of a consultation about how to style my extensions and my new bangs rather than a regular haircut appointment. I learned a lot and I’m very grateful for Jordan’s patience and expertise. I could not be happier with the way my hair turned out.

I had the best experience today getting my hair done by the sweet lovely Kaila Loren!!!🥹 My hair never felt or looked better! She did an AMAZING job from explaining everything, making me as comfortable as possible, talking the entire time, washing my hair, brushing, & styling it throughly and perfectly!!!♥️ She is the best, I 10/10 recommend getting your hair done by her! I paid $187 for complete hair dye and trim, worth every penny and can’t wait to keep coming back to get my hair done with her!🫶🏼

I don’t know about the other ladies but the one that cut my hair I believe her name is Ana , she seems she new she doesn’t know what she’s doing horrible experience with her expensive and I didn’t get what I wanted. I had to come home and fix it trimmed actually. I don’t recommend her.

I have came to Leslie Porter three months ago for a hair trim; she’s absolutely amazing, and her communication skills are admirable! She takes her time getting to understand her clients which I find is rare in the beauty industry. She recently did a perm for me; I have had nonstop compliments on her hard work. Her ability to make sure you feel comfortable is heartwarming, and I love that she takes really good care of my hairs health and cosmetic care.

Anne was amazing!! I went in with the ugliest blonde hair- the salon that did it destroyed my hair and left 3 different shades of blonde on my head. She was very thorough in pretty much completely fixing my hair and making it brown again! I also really appreciated how she took care to avoid my fresh helix piercing. I’ve been to this salon in the past to color my hair and i’ve always been impressed. 11/10 highly recommend :)

I am absolutely thrilled with the services I receive from Leslie Porter! Her exceptional customer service always makes me feel welcomed and valued. She truly listens to my requests and understands exactly what I want. Every time, she manages to work her magic, leaving my hair looking absolutely fabulous. I couldn’t ask for a better hairdresser! Highly recommend her to anyone seeking amazing results and a wonderful salon experience.

I was in desperate need of a hair salon while visiting San Antonio! I scheduled an appointment with Shanna, she washed/dried and trimmed my long bangs. The entire experience was awful, she rushed everything and cut my bangs horribly! I could’ve done a better job myself in the hotel room with limited hair supplies. She was very polite and friendly but I don’t know why she’s working in this field that requires you to be somewhat of an artist as well. I’m not happy about leaving a negative review but hopefully it warns others so they don’t cut their hair with her.

Leslie did an absolutely amazing job with my hair! She is incredibly skilled and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The color came out beautifully, and her styling was flawless. I’ve never felt more confident about my hair! She was professional, friendly, and made the entire experience enjoyable. I recently visited this salon and had the pleasure of working with Leslie, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I was feeling a little impulsive and wanted bangs but wasn’t quite sure what I wanted, and Leslie made me feel completely at ease and confident in the decision. She really offered great advice on what would suit my face shape, and took her time to ensure the cut was perfect. I’m so glad I trusted Leslie with the change, and I’ll definitely be back for my next haircut. Highly recommend!

i’m new to san Antonio so i had to find a new salon here and salon rana is perfect! amazing prices compared to other salons i’ve been to. very easy to use website! and my stylist anne is amazing i love her she does an amazing job and is so sweet!

ANNE!!!💕💕 She's seriously the best! I've been going to her for over a year now for cuts and highlights, and she always knows how to make my curls look great. She's super chill and easy to talk to, which is great 'cause I'm a bit of a shy girlie. If you're looking for a someone who actually listens to you and gives you honest advice, Anne is the one. She's helped me transition to lighter highlights and without totally frying my hair. I always look forward to my appointments with her. So 10/10 would recommend!

Girlfriend went here, she comes back home crying because they didn't do remotely what she asked, despite her literally showing pictures/video and having more than enough hair. Apparently the stylist said people "don't really know what they want" or something like that, and said she often gets bad reviews from people who later don't like what they got. Well, spoiler: if everyone is complaining you're not doing what they ask, you're probably not doing what people are asking. Ridiculous. Frankly, what she ended up getting doesn't look bad, but it's also not even remotely like the pictures she showed the stylist. And now she's lost a ton of hair that she took a year growing out. Great job.

I am devastated. I am a college student and I usually cut and dye my own hair to save up money. I grew my hair out very long and wanted to do a very specific haircut. I called and asked the day before I made the appointment to see if any of their stylists can do my specific cut. They said they had a stylist that can do it and is familiar with it. I was very excited, I wanted black hair dye and a long wolf cut. I go in and I meet my stylist (Anne) she’s nice but her customer service wasn’t my issue. I showed her pictures of exactly what I wanted. She started coloring my hair and honestly it was so messy that half of my makeup was wiped off by her because of all the black dye she had to wipe off my cheek. I did not complain, I made jokes about it because I didn’t care. The only thing I cared about was getting my haircut right. While my hair dye was processing I showed her videos as well just to make sure she knows exactly what I want and there is no misunderstandings. She said “I have 5 years of experience you can trust me” I wasn’t trying to undermine her experience or insult her in any way. I just needed my haircut to be what I wanted. So I say okay then we move on and she started cutting. I come out with a choppy short haircut instead of the long wolf cut. I pointed out to her that it looks like a normal layered cut and not a wolf cut at all and she gets another stylists to help her out. Idk her name but the other stylist was saying comments about how people say they want a haircut but don’t mean it. I found that comment very odd. I tried doing everything in my power to avoid this. I called the day before and asked for a stylist that CAN do the haircut that I wanted or even if they had one. I showed MULTIPLE pictures and VIDEOS. And I still didn’t get it. I got this haircut 5 days ago. I cried for 2 days straight bc my hair length is all gone and they ruined it. And I can’t even go back and ask them to fix it bc the hair cut (long wolf cut) that I wanted is not achievable anymore because I do not have long hair anymore. I asked for a refund for just the haircut and they said the manager will call me in 2 days. Spoiler alert: she hasn’t. I am very disappointed and sad. I looked forward to my haircut and it got all ruined and now I have to wait months until my hair grows out to fix it. I am not sure why they lied about having a stylist that can do the specific haircut I wanted. Please just save your money and don’t leave traumatized like me. I regret ever booking an appointment and showing up to a place like this where they don’t even listen to you and do whatever they want.

It's been a long time since I can say I've had a good hair experience. Well, I'm happy to say Selyna did an amazing job with my hair! I've definitely found my new salon! They energy in the salon was great and everyone was so nice. I'm so excited to finally feel like I've got someone I can trust with my hair. Thank you Selyna and Salon Rana!

I’m never one to complain ever. However I feel very ripped off. I went in to get my current black hair back to brown . I also wear extensions. I brought both my brown extensions and black extensions because I wasn’t sure if the stylist would have time to bleach my hair. I go in and show the stylist both. She asked me what I wanted to do . I answered go back to brown hair and put the brown extensions in. She said I was her last client of the day , my hair was very thin so it wouldn’t take long to bleach and she can match the color of my extensions. Great. She bleaches my hair and dyes it a super red color . She begins to put my extensions and I kindly pointed out the color did not match at all. (I’m very realistic when it comes to color matching but it wasn’t even a little close) she takes it out and puts toner . And while the toner takes out some of the red my hair now has some black , the reddish brown ,and the roots are very bright. She wanted to put in the extensions again . I point out again it doesn’t match .At this point she suggest highlights. (My hair is already 3 different colors 😭) I remain calm and very respectful i hated even saying the colors didn’t match but it was bad. I apologize and ask her if I can just go back to black and put in the black extensions. I was in this chair for 5 1/2 hours having my hair dyed these crazy colors. It was $676 not including tip Just to have to come home to have to dye my hair black AGAIN because the roots in the picture are 1 DAY AFTER I left the salon. My hair is also not fully black to match the extensions in. Tried talking to manager was told she would call me back Sunday. Tuesday rolls around still no call. Called again was told I would get a call back . No call again. Very frustrating and disappointing .Save your money .

I had my first appointment here with Anne and she completely transformed my hair into something that I loved so much! She cared about the health of my hair instead of just frying it and she did such a cute cut!! Definitely grateful and happy :) Update: I am never one to complain and often keep my mouth shut and deal with what I have but this time I don’t want someone else to get screwed over the way I felt I have been. I got my hair done on 9/15 and it was $500 including tip. I asked for fire truck red and this was the color I got. I did love it when I walked out but I washed it one time and it all went to crap. I bought the $80 shampoo from them she recommended to me, I used cold water as recommended, I never use heat or product in my hair, and I’ve only washed it three times since I got it done. There are parts that are completely blonde, parts that are patchy and kinda pink still? Nothing about my hair is consistent or nice and it hasn’t even been a month yet. When I called to complain, they had me come in for a consult. They pretty much told me there was nothing they can do except redue it and charge me all over again. The pictures below are from before, the day after, and 10/07. If you zoom in on the one on top of my head you can see the patchiness. I unfortunately took the risk of trusting someone new with my hair and I completely regret it. It’s one thing to make a mistake but to not be willing to admit to it and not fix it without charging me an arm and a leg is not good business. I have to walk around with my hair looking like this and I can’t fix it without spending a bunch of money.

I have been going here for a year, and Federico has provided cut/style/highlights. He does a great job, and I’m very picky. He is kind and listens to my requests then gives me his opinion which is always spot on. I keep stylists for 10 or more years when I find a good one- he is a keeper🌹

I’ve been coming to Salon Rana for close to a year now and I always have the best experience. Anne is ALWAYS so attentive and really takes the time to ask questions to understand what I’m looking for. She’s always game for the (constant) changes I make to my hair and just as excited as I am with the end result. I’ve never left unhappy with her work and always feel 1000x better than when I walk in.
