Emily did an incredible job cutting and styling my hair. She gave me a short, cute, fun and healthy looking cut that I'm absolutely in love with. There's so many ways for me to style it if I choose to, but also easy to just wake up and go. My curls are thriving with this new cut and I've already gotten so many compliments. Will definitely come back whenever I'm in Seattle next.

Salon Refine is an awesome salon in the neighbourhood. Kathy helped with my haircut. She is very nice, gentle and attentive. I didn’t need to brush off hair on my face, neck, clothes or in the eyes. My hair looked excellent and cute after Kathy’s help. I am so happy that I chose this salon for my hair and for occasional event settings. I can regularly visit the location. Thanks you Kathy and everyone.

Salon Refine is a shop with a intimate yet relaxed environment in a busy city. I am here to write about Jazzmyn who took care of me unlike any other hair stylist I've had before. Melissa at Salon Refine is the best. Over the years she has taken my hairstyles anywhere I’ve wanted to go. Some tame, some wild. Melissa consistently gives the best haircuts I’ve had and her color skills are phenomenal.

Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to Melissa. She colored my hair and I didn't like how the color came out. In natural light it looked somewhat unnatural and I tend towards like ing my hair more natural. She came in on her day off to fix it for me and it looks beautiful. I am really grateful for her willingness to make a customer happy and have me feel good about me hair! Excellent customer service.

I’ve been looking for someone to cut my hair for a while in Seattle, and it’s taken me three tries to finally find someone who can make my hair look and feel absolutely incredible! Jazzmyn is incredibly talented. She’s been able to get my hair to behave in a way I—and other professionals—never could. She’s very attentive to your concerns and offers good insight. I left the salon the happiest I’ve been in a long time. Thank you to the other Google reviews who mentioned her, because I think I’ve found my go-to person!

I can't express enough how much I love my hair cut from Ho Ming. It's without a doubt the best cut I've had. I came in with an idea of what I wanted but he was able to walk me through the process and gave reccomendations based on his many years of experience. I'm glad I trusted him as it turned out amazing. He understands Asian hair very well and was able to apply the proper techniques for the best results. On top of that, he's an amazing conversationalist. I really much enjoyed talking to him during our session. I walked away from my visit with the cutest hair and a bunch of styling tips. Will definitely be coming back for more appointments with Ho Ming in the future.

Kathy did an amazing job on my hair and was able to give me exactly what I envisioned despite my clumsy attempt at actually articulating what it was I wanted 😂 The salon staff is warm and welcoming—especially the receptionist whose name I unfortunately did not get—and you can tell everyone enjoys their jobs (a rarity). Highly recommend!

Haili did an amazing job! Usually my hair is really stubborn and hard to lighten but she got it to the color and hairstyle I wanted. This is probably the best my hair has ever looked will definitely be back!

I got my hair cut and layered by Haili Dawson and she was incredible! I am terrible at explaining what I want, but she worked with me to figure it out and tailored the look to flatter my face shape. 20/10! I’m obsessed!

I have had exceptional experiences with both hair stylists I have booked with: Haili Dawson is a literal angel, and gave me what we now call my signature haircut. I've been getting my hair cut by her for about a year now, and recommend her to everyone when they ask. Go get your favorite haircut! Pheonix Winters is easily the best hair colorist I have ever met. The attention and detail he gave to doing my babylights? Unprecedented. He's funny, talented and uniquely gifted. A million stars to both!

I was a customer of Trish, she did a great job the first time with balayage and hair cut. So I went the second time after few months, this time right before my wedding. My hair turned into yellow (I have black hair) wherever the color was applied. Everyone in family was freaking out so I called the the salon to help me out. They gave me a rude reply about how they cannot give me Trish's number. She then replied back after 3 days without any helpful response and that was it. She never responded to my messages either. I ended up going to a different salon to get my hair fixed and they did a great job. I don't mind spending money on my hair but I guess I'll never go back again

I went in for a cut and color and walked out $300 dollars later with my forehead stained with hair dye. Yes, you read that right. Hair Coloring Service: I have south Asian hair and am very aware that my hair when bleached can be 'brassy' or have 'orange red' undertones. I wanted to very simply tone or deposit a plum/mauve or chestnut color onto my hair. The hairstylist decided to use someone else's color line (I had no specific preference) and later told me that it might fade into what I was looking for. She also specifically said "Sweetie, next time we stick to my color line". I'll admit that left me confused, because I didn't suggest or insist on using someone else's color line. It's unfair to defer blame like that when you can offer to fix it. I didn't mind the dark color too much since my primary goal was getting rid of the red my hair had faded into. Here's the part I'm pretty upset about. My forehead is stained with dark dye!!! No vaseline or protectant was applied to it before applying the hair dye! BASIC!!!! I was later told, "These dark shades always tend to do this". You can do 1 of 2 things. Feign ignorance or sound knowledgeable. You can't do both at the same time. If you knew they stain, you also knew the preventative actions to take. If you are unaware of what a dark dye can do, you could simply state that you are more comfortable working with lighter hair tones and I would have found a stylist who had more experience with dark hair. Hair Cut: I loved my haircut and have no complaints about this. My scalp did hurt a bit with the brushing, but I should have mentioned that I had a sensitive scalp. Note: I didn't mention these things after my service to my stylist yesterday, because I struggle with close contact and am awkward with social interactions. I avoid going to the salon unless I absolutely need to, and don't mind paying $$$ for a job well done.

Most beautiful haircut I've ever had - Phoenix at Salon Refine gave my hair life I hadn't seen in years. I asked for long round layers and long bangs, which Phoenix cut perfectly! My hair frames my face, feels healthier and thicker. I can see so much more movement in my hair too! Phoenix was very knowledgeable on products and styling, giving me tips on how to maintain my new cut, have healthy, shiny hair, and possible styles to try! I can't wait to come back for another cut and foilyage - Phoenix also specializes in beautiful foilyage, perfect for going lighter this summer. Thank you so much Phoenix for the amazing cut and Dove, the office manager, for being so welcoming and warm.
