I’ve had the pleasure to be in Ray’s chair now for almost a year and I couldn’t be happier with my hair and experience every time I have an appointment. Ray is the most kind and caring, not to mention a master of the craft. I started with medium length brown hair with a halo and now have a totally blonde bob. My hair is so incredibly healthy and I am so happy

I love everything about this salon! Everyone is super kind and the atmosphere is chill. My stylist Ray is wonderful. She reiterates my requests back to me, checks in throughout the cut and doesn't mind making accommodations at the end to ensure I'm totally happy. Her advice on wavy cuts and care have helped me shape my curls too. Bonus, she is always a joy to talk to 😊

Can’t recommend my stylist Ray enough! They have been doing my hair since 2020 and have always been friendly, flexible yet realistic about hair. Everytime I come to salon rose I know I’m gonna walk out feeling refreshed and confident. I havnt had natural hair color since 2014 but Ray has never damaged my hair and always recommends the best products to keep the color lasting and my hair healthy and strong. Thanks ray!!! <3

I love this salon and the atmosphere! I have been coming to Ray for haircuts for almost two years now and they never miss. I always feel so happy with my cut when walking out the door, which before Ray never happened!! Truly adore her and will never go to anyone else to get my hair cut 🙏🏼

Kayla H is phenomenal with haircut and color. I got a balayage with a cut and together we were able to get what I wanted, especially for my face structure that looks natural and effortless. She also has a great personality and sense of humor while giving great tips and recommendations to maintaining a great style in and out of the salon. The atmosphere of the salon is always lively, especially with the plants and great music to let you feel more at home.

Kayla was phenomenal to work with. Worked with me to help develop the exact look we were going for. Offered suggestions, was very clear along each step of the process about what was happening. Checked in through out the service to ensure I was comfortable. 10/10 I am OBSESSED with the results.

Thank you Solon Rose and specific shout out to my girl Sam!! I just got my first perm and I have to say I was a little nervous! Sam was so incredibly nice, efficient, and precise about everything she did that the end result was absolutely everything I imagined and made me feel so much more like myself at the end of the appointment! Not only was my appointment with same great but the vibes from Solon rose were immaculate:) I saw such a vide variety hair types and colors come in the door- each and every one of them looking fantastic when they left! Def give this place a shot and you’ll see why I’m so jazzed to have a new hair spot in ATX:)

This is the most expensive salon I have been to in my 11 years of getting my hair colored. I’m talking $200 for half of my head to have blonde roots touched up- no other services. They then wanted to charge me another $150 to do the other half black. I had an issue with my blonde having a band after seeing a stylist at this salon. I contacted her about it and was told, “we will work on it at your next appointment.” I aired my grievances again later on and wanted to know what the game plan was for my next appointment because they like to push color corrections which are an egregious hourly charge. I was told I have a band because my hair was too grown out (which I’ve never been told nor have I ever experience before) and I need to go every 6 weeks to maintain my hair. They, again, tried to push a color corrections. Instead of fixing their mistake, I was told to spend more money. If my hair was too grown out for the stylist, that’s fine! I get everyone has their preference and I respect that! However, it should have been discussed before hand. Giving it three stars because the shops cute and everyone’s friendly.

I can’t say enough about how much I look forward to my appointments with Madelon and the Salon Rosé staff. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming, and you feel like you’re stepping into a beautiful greenhouse with leaves literally climbing up the walls (and if you’re lucky, can buy a plant or two)! I get compliments on my hair all the time and can always trust that I’ll walk away smiling after every visit. Support local, support women-owned, and you will find your new forever salon!

Salon Rosé is great. I've been seeing Ray who has been super helpful with improving my damaged hair (from previous bleaching) and figuring out what will look good going forward. She's so pleasant to work with and I've loved how my hair has come out each time.

All the stylists are so friendly and welcoming here! I see Kayla Harrison for regular cuts, thick hair debulking, and keratin treatments - all wonderful and highly recommend. I love the salon’s location, ample parking, and the R + Co salon products.

First timer for coloring here! I've never done more than trim my hair so saying I was nervous would be an understatement. Ray did a fantastic job at taking the fantasy of my inspiration photos and merging it with the reality of my daily hair (flat, thin, no styling at all haha!) to give me a beautiful "dip my toe in to the waters" dye job for my first crack at it. I live in San Marcos but I'll definitely be back to Salon Rose for future styling. I don't see myself stopping now! All the staff was friendly and uplifting and they do beautiful work!

I cannot say enough great things about Salon Rosé! This fantastic hair salon in Austin has taken great care of me and my hair. When my stylist, Kayla moved to this salon, I was over the moon. The vibes are very alt/boho-chic, relaxing, and inviting. Kayla has been so wonderful helping my damaged and brittle hair maintain health, while staying within my comfort zone for my high maintenance hair. She really takes the time to research what products would work best, and provides great recommendations for home care. As someone who enjoys super packed highlights and being as blonde as my hair will allow, Kayla keeps delivering the best results. If you’re in the market for a stylist that cares about your hair health, Kayla is your go to!

Kayla is the best!!! I trust her with my hair more than any other stylist. I really appreciate that she takes the time to consult with you about what you’re looking for and repeats back to you what the plan is. She also does a great job explaining the process and offering options when there is more than one way to achieve the look you’re going for. She did an incredible job getting my hair to the perfect color and length for my wedding - from sharing advice on products to use, to recommending timing for services, to doing perfect color match to cover my little wild grays in the front, to surface cutting to remove dead ends without taking too much length, to cutting my halo extensions to blend in well with my cut. In addition to her fabulous cuts, she also does great color on brunette hair, which is not always easy to find. I’ve had her do balayage, highlights, and all over color throughout the years I’ve been going to her and I have been impressed with all! I appreciate that she explains what a maintenance plan will look like before you commit so you know what you’re getting into. She takes her time to make sure your hair is perfect. I hate when stylists rush through and you leave wondering what you paid for. She does quality work! She is also so sweet and I always enjoy talking with her during my services! 5/5 stars no questions asked!!!

The amount of love I have for Salon Rosé…I followed a stylist here when she left my old salon and stayed when she moved onto a new one. I adore Dalanie, I don’t trust anyone else with my vivids and red. Every stylist here seems to love what they do and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Love that I’m greeted by name when I walk in the front door and I happily make my hour commute here because it’s worth it.

Huge fan of this business!! The space is so artfully designed - the way the plants and paintings and the music come together is a whole vibe!! 🤩 I’ve been working with Kayla for the past couple years and she’s the best!! I always feel so understood when communicating the hair situation I’m going for. Kayla’s good at both the coloring and the cutting which has been hard to find someone good at both in the past. She gives really personalized care and great at answering any questions I have. Thanks Madelon for creating an amazing space and to Kayla for being my hair person. I don’t usually venture into South Austin but for them I happily make the trek!! Love!!

I had such a positive experience here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I love the plant decor. Everyone was so nice, and helpful, and very accommodating for wheelchair accessibility. I haven't had a cut or color I have liked this much in years! I have found my salon home!!

The owner is AMAZING!!! This salon experience is so different than any other, due to her thoughtfulness & detail. There are plants growing everywhere and crystals lining the shop. Fantastic experience, came for the cut coming back for the experience.
