I had an amazing experience with Michelle and Kelly! Michelle is a true artist—she cut my hair beautifully and made me look and feel great, as always. Kelly worked wonders with the color, transforming my all-white hair into a stunning charcoal shade that makes me look younger. The makeup artist also helped me find the perfect colors to complement my new look. The whole team is incredible, and the experience was fun, positive, and professional. Highly recommend!

Cannot recommend Salon SCK enough! Clint (the C in SCK) has been cutting my wavy fussy hair for ~15years and regular balayage with Heather for almost as long. They both know exactly what to do to make me look amazing on every visit. Clint’s cuts always grow out beautifully and from day 1 he understood I needed styles, and he delivered, that are easy to maintain ie wash-n-wear. Heather has given me highlights and more recently balayage, both super natural. Always spot on shade and they don’t fade/get brassy. Everything about his salon is top notch.

I decided that any salon that could thrive on the fourth floor of an office building was likely to have a strong repeat clientele and i was right. It is clean, busy, pleasant and i got an outstanding wash and blow dry from April on very short notice. I will go back whenever i am in new york. I have had a Sassoon "bob" cut for a very long time and she recognized it as a classic precision style so i would not hesitate to have a cut there too.

I called while on a brief visit, and Devon was available to blow dry and style my hair last minute. He was friendly and talented. If I were a local, I would frequent the salon - the staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful!

I hadn't had my naturally very dark hair colored in a very very long time, but I took the plunge with Kelly at Salon SCK and it was the best decision! Kelly gave me a thorough consultation and along with my amazing hairstylist Devin they made sure my cut and color would work perfectly together. Kelly carefully lifted my hair color and meticulously sectioned the hair so all the colored pieces fall in perfect harmony. She made sure i was happy with the final result and I left feeling renewed and beautiful. Thank you so much for this very much needed pick me up!

I have been going to Salon SCK for over 5 years. I won't go anywhere else. I get a haircut every 10 weeks and a color every 5 weeks. Dallas works wonders with my color!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier. And he is awesome to be around! I adore him.

I’ve been going to Devin for 7 years and he always does such a great job with my hair. I have wavy hair and he’s done amazing haircuts. He also did my hair for my wedding and I loved it.

Kirsten is a hairdresser expert! Master! She’s been taking care of my hair for over 8 years, people are stopping me on the streets of NYC giving me compliments about gorgeous color, perfect bangs and length (long hair). Oh and Thank you guys for delicious cappuccino! Love it , see you soon.

Love love love. The space is crisp and the people are happy. Carmel is not only extremely talented, but very collaborative and confident. She interpreted my broken hairdressing jargon perfectly and helped me describe the cut I was going for. She is methodical and creative. I travel internationally for work and I enjoyed my cut here so much so that I plan to fly into nyc just for another appointment with her.

I found this salon on google when I was trying to findone near my hotel to prepare for a holiday party. I was able to book pretty quickly granted it was several weeks out. The salon was very clean and an enjoyable experience. When I made my appt, I asked the receptionist who she recommended and she said she would book me with Carmel. I am beyond glad she did! I enjoyed every minute of my time with Carmel and wish I could see her on a regular occasion. She was efficient in getting my blow dry and style done in a timely manner and made me look fabulous. She has quite an amazing personality and I plan to schedule with her next time I am in the city! Highly recommend!!

I have been coming to this salon for years to have my hair colored, cut etc by Rene. He is a wizard with my wavy hair and I can’t imagine entrusting my hair to anyone else. When I decided to give up coloring, he made my hair look fabulous as a blend of gray, brown and blond, and layered it all perfectly to highlight the effect.

My hair has always been super important to me, I believe that your hair is your face frame & what shows your personality. I moved to NYC 8 years ago and for the first two years I was lost not knowing where to get my hair done, it was scary... Until I found SCK and met @ Rene Fris. SCK is an absolutely gorgeous salon where you can expect attention to detail every time you go... And Rene, wow, not only he is Incredibly Talented, but he is an amazing & caring human being who pays attention to all the details and makes you feel good and look Your Best You every time you go. My haircut is always fun, great and easy to style, and he is also great with my hair coloring & highlights. It's now 6 years & counting, and I would not go anywhere else. Thanks SCK & @ReneFris

This is such a special salon and after nearly a full year of visiting them, I will be a client for life- that’s how much I value this incredible group of people and the exceptional services they provide. I say group of people because a salon is such a diverse group of talent. You have their incredible creative team of colorists and stylists who cut, color, style, and transform hair, nails, and makeup with incomparable industry pedigree and quality, consistent expertise and skill at every visit. There is also the front desk and hospitality team that greets guests warmly and takes care of needs from bookings, to robes, payments, beverages and beyond, always with a smile. And I’ll get into the world-class ownership group ahead! I often find myself thinking, as I sit in the salon in various areas waiting for my hair to do its thing, about how well run the salon is, and how it is so obvious how much people like working there and that they really care for the clients. I see the employees be so kind and considerate and go the extra mile every time I’m in there. It is somehow completely relaxing being there and also energizing at the same time. It’s really easy to say I have never liked a salon so much and having moved a lot, I’ve tried many across many states. This must be due to the magical alchemy of how special the ownership group is, and the high standards they set for everyone there, including themselves. Reading their bios is like a masterclass in hair expertise and industry history. And yet they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. It is truly such a special salon with incredible employees across the board. If you’re at all worried about visiting a 5th Avenue NYC salon fearing what attitude might lay ahead, you can be heartened to know that you will be completely at ease and in the most capable, talented and kind hands during your visit. My biggest problem is not wanting the day to end when I am there because I am having so much fun with the whole team.
