Meli has been my trusted hairdresser since 2018. Even when she moved her location further from me, I followed. She is intuitive and takes time to get to know you and your lifestyle. She is an expert in color and listens to your requests and will let you know of the possibilities with your hair. I highly recommend her!

Salon Seed exceeded our expectations! Isabel was amazing with my daughters and gave them beautiful new hairstyles that they absolutely love. They couldn’t stop talking about how relaxing and luxurious the head massage was during the shampoo—it was such a special treat for them. The salon has a welcoming atmosphere, and the attention to detail was impressive. We’re so happy with the entire experience and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend Salon Seed and Isabel!

Today I got my first hair cut at the Salon Seed in Katy and WOW, what an amazing experience all round! I really felt I was in expert hands with Isabel, she took lots of time to talk to me about my hair and my personality and we agreed the plan going forward. First she gave me a fantastic head massage while washing my hair and a fabulous blow-dry after. Then she meticulously cut my hair and used appropriate products to style it. My hair has never looked so good and I skipped out of there feeling very relaxed and very glamorous!! Lovely friendly atmosphere, with talented professional people who clearly have a passion for hair and great customer service!! Keep up the good work ladies and see you soon!

I highly recommend Sarah Jordy at salon seed! I let myself go and didn’t cut my hair for a year and looked like a tumble weed. When I showed up for my appointment Sarah went over an in depth consultation with me and taught me a few things about my hair and scalp. I really appreciated that because at other places I’ve gotten my hair cut they just rush me through and send me on my way. Sarah took her time to ensure I was comfortable and got the results I wanted. It’s crazy how she was able to cut my hair in a way where I got my confidence back. I rarely get compliments and I got a few compliments from some of the women there that day. That made me feel pretty good about myself and I’ve gotten some compliments out and about as well. I feel like a new person and I even started going back the gym lol. I’ll be going back every month for a hair cut, I highly recommend salon seed!

I recieved an amazing scalp treatment with Isabel. If you haven’t tried this before, PLEASE DO! I’ve never had such a relaxing and unique experience. She started with a dry scalp massage, then followed with a thorough scalp treatment. As the treatment was resting in my hair, she massaged my arms and hands. She took such good care of me and you can tell she has a passion for what she does. Please consider Isabel for all your hair needs!!!

I saw Jordy for my first perm and I couldn’t be happier! I think this is honestly the happiest I’ve ever been with my hair. I’ve always loved it leaving the salon after a fresh service but styling it myself has always been a bust. It would never come out the way I wanted and leave me feeling defeated. I asked for a natural curl - not super tight but also not loose beach waves - and Jordy nailed it. Now styling it is SO quick and easy (it almost feels illegal how easy it is) and I can trust that it will look amazing every single day. If you have flat-ish and/or unpredictable hair, I highly recommend getting a perm. I spent most days wearing a hat or slicking my hair back into a ponytail. Now I can wear it down for days without it looking dirty and lifeless. Go see Jordy, asap!!

I am so happy I found Salon Seed and I can no longer go to any other hair salon! They are so conveniently located in Katy and the space is super cute, spacious, and comfy. My stylist was Isabel, who was very sweet and friendly. She made me feel so welcomed (as did the other girls!) and gave me the best hair experience I’ve ever had hands down! I got a scalp treatment with her since I have dermatitis flare ups. I felt truly taken care of from start to finish and I loved how detailed and meticulous Isabel was! She took time to do a personalized consult with me and went over the treatment plan she created. My scalp felt amazingly clean, hydrated, and it drastically improved my current flare up. All the products and tools she used on me smells great and was really gentle and soothing, and I really appreciate her explaining each step to me. On top of the love and care for my scalp, she does the most amazing massages! Scalp, neck, and shoulder were all really good and a little magic touch I wasn’t expecting in the service. I was so relaxed I fell asleep a couple of times and I usually have trouble relaxing at appointments. I can’t thank y’all for the wonderful experience and I can’t wait to come back! I’ll be bringing my family and friends too :)

Would highly recommend Isabel! I have curly, thick hair and have always had a hard time finding a stylist. Isabel really listened to me, asked great questions and styled my hair to be something I wanted and could recreate at home. She was very knowledgeable, kind and professional. The space was comfortable and easy to access.

The customer service, hair knowledge and results are exceptional at Salon Seed! I was incredibly impressed by Isabel and how she took the time to have a thorough hair consult for my tween daughter, and listened to her carefully. She followed this with the exact cut and style that my daughter wanted. My daughter said that she finally loved her curly hair! A huge accomplishment and a true testament to the wonderful service by Isabel! Thank you so much to Meli and the whole team for having us and making us feel so welcome too!

Absolutely love Meli and the team at Salon Seed! Meli takes the time and effort to get to know who you are and how you imagine what your best self looks like, and she delivers. She listens and is attentive to your needs and wants. We’ve built a relationship over the years and every time I walk out of the shop feeling beautiful and confident. She’s also very knowledgeable about how to care for your hair and recreate your desired look every day. It’s a whole experience at Salon Seed and you should definitely go.

Just had the best hair care experience of my life! Melissa provides excellent service and her haircuts and color techniques are unbelievable. Gina provided the most relaxing shampoo that I have ever had and the aromatherapy of the products that they use is very calming. My first time there but I can't wait for my next visit . The owner Melly is great! Her vision and attention to detail is amazing . . . Especially when you're not exactly sure what you want and you show her a dozen slightly different style options and she is able to bring them all together and create a style that is perfect. Service was pretty quick and the location is great and easy to get to. Parking is plentiful and area is quaint and quiet. 10/10 would recommend 👍 👏

I saw Meli at Salon Seed for partial highlights, color, toner and a haircut. Blown away: she picked excellent colors/highlights to compliment my natural hair and my greys that are becoming known! It's been a few weeks since my cut, and I am loving the fullness and ease from her razor haircutting technique she used. Looks FANTASTIC. Will be returning for sure.

Fantastic cut, color, Brazilian blowout & blow dry/style. My stylist Melissa is so personable and takes time when consulting with you and explains in detail what she is going to do before beginning. She not only knows how to color or style she teaches you about hair and hair management on a scientific level. She teaches you the breakdown of your hair and the chemical reactions between the molecules in hair, pigments, and even takes into account any medications/vitamins you may be taking. Truly an AMAZING experience every time! My blow dry is always bouncy, lasting overnight! A divine experience - I will never see anyone else again!

Melissa Gonzalez is a true artist. She has been doing my hair for almost 6 years and now at her brand new space Salon Seed in Richmond, TX. We've literally been through a rainbow of colors and many styles, all looking great and my hair is still healthy as can be! This is because not only can she make anyone's hair look fantastic, she refuses to compromise hair health. I also Melissa for my eyelash extensions which are fabulous! They look so much more natural than the traditional fake eyelashes and so much better than my natural ones! Bye bye mascara!! Similar to her concern for my hair health, my natural lashes are still healthy as ever. I truly cannot recommend Melissa and her beautiful new Salon Seed enough!
