Booking an appointment with Shay is extremely easy! I was nervous to get my hair done because of past experiences but I can confidently say this is the first time I left with a genuine smile. I absolutely fell in love with Shay. She is gorgeous and so very sweet. She listened to all of my concerns and reassured me through every step. She answered all my questions and we had really good conversations. I absolutely love what she did to my hair, it is exactly what I had in mind it was worth every penny. I will be coming back, I am happy to have her in my hair journey. If you go anywhere, go to Salon Shay!!

Am giving one star because I never received a reply back from the text message. They cancelled my appointment the day of ( 10-19-24 ) and said they would reschedule me for the next day and I never heard back I even asked if someone else was available. I have been trying to book somewhere else and I can’t get any. I have event tomorrow and a very important event on the 25 and 26th am very sad and a little disappointed. I haven’t been to a salon in years and was hoping to have a great experience and give it a shot.. Hope all is well with the accident prayers for you..

I had an appointment last minute and she managed to fit me in and work with my schedule! Shay did a phenomenal job on my hair as it was my first time ever getting my hair colored. I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else. Thank you!!(before and after pics included)

please if you're looking for a new salon you have to try shay!!! 🙏🙏🙏 she worked with my schedule and budget and gave me exactly what i wanted! This was my first appointment here and with Shayla and I am never going anywhere else. I've never been to a stylist that I've really clicked with and that I've felt like actually cares about me. She stayed late with me to make sure she didn't rush the process and she is one of the sweetest and realest people I've ever met and I could really open up to her! I mean it when I say I've never loved my hair more than i do right now and it's never felt better. Along with making me feel gorgeous she is super knowledgeable and gave me amazing tips on how to keep my hair, skin, and even my life healthy! This place really is amazing and you *have* to make this place your go-to!

This was my first appointment with Shayla. Wow! What a great decision I made in getting her to cut my hair! I had lost my former stylist and due to being afraid to trust someone else hadn’t had my hair cut in two years. Shayla surpassed all my expectations! She’s friendly and so talented. She washed, cut and blow dried my hair so fast and efficiently. The result was amazing and I was so happy. Shayla gave me one of the best cuts of my life. I made an appointment before I left for Shayla to transform me from a grey grandma to a blonde beauty! If you’re looking for a quality stylist look no further. Shayla will work magic!!

I came to Shay in dire need of some serious help for my dry, box died, gray hair. This was my first time getting my hair professionally done. Shay was very knowledgeable and professional. She exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to make sure I got the best experience, and she did an AMAZING job!!! Not only did she do a great job but she also went and got me something to eat while my hair color was processing. Her customer service was by far the best I have received in a very long time. Prices keep increasing while quality has decreased. Should've stopped going over a year ago. In April she didn't have enough supplies to do a full service, (said she could go get more while I waited, who does that?) yet still charged for full service. This time color washed out within 2 wks and she charged when I went back for a touch up. Had I known she would charge for a correction, I definitely would have went elsewhere. On top of all that she runs late for every appointment. More disappointed in myself for continuing to go back as long as I did.

Shay is amazing and was able to absolutely nail the color and style I wanted from a couple pictures. She is always on time and responsive and great to work with! She is also so nice and easy to chat with while in the salon. Would recommend her to everyone. I have blonde hair and am very particular and she exceeded my expectations! I have been to “well known” salons around and Shay’s work blows theirs out of the water! Thank you Shay!

Wanted a new color specialist, came to Shay as a new client with my hair a whole trainwreck. Outgrown for two years to the middle of my back- split ends frizzy flat color- and not a certain or specific idea of what I wanted… I showed her a few options and told her I wanted a big change…but something easy to upkeep and she did literal MAGIC! She’s very talented and is super sweet! I will definitely recommend her to my friends and coworkers.

Had a fantastic experience. She understood quickly what I wanted and made it happen. My hair was a mess and now it looks amazing. She is skilled at both color and hair cut and styling. My hair hasn't felt this cute or healthy in years. I will be going back.

I had an appointment booked with Salon Shay for an updo for my brother's wedding (I was a bridesmaid). I had it booked for 9am, confirmed the appointment a few days before and got multiple reminder text messages about it. 91 minutes before the appointment was supposed to start I got a text message notifying me that it was cancelled with no explanation. A few minutes after I left my original google review, she calls me to explain herself. She said she cancelled the appointment because her son tested positive for COVID and that she was showing symptoms and that she just found out. I do not know how COVID test results work because I have not experienced it first hand, but I feel it was unlikely that she found out a 7:29AM on a Saturday and had to cancel last minute because of that. I have adjusted this review to let people hear the whole story and make their own decision on what happened. Although these are wild times and it very well may have been an unlucky coincidence, I got the short end of the stick and therefore felt she was unprofessional and inconsiderate. I, personally, have no plans of seeking out her services again.
