Tanzania was very amazing and helpful with my first time at the salon! She gave me good tips and helped answer any questions or concerns about my hair routine. She was patient doing my hair and took her time and explained why she was doing something a certain way. She also was so sweet and had a great personality and made me so comfortable!

I had a great experience here! I have never been to a curly salon before, but my stylist Tanzania was very patient and kind, especially since I am still learning to embrace my curly hair. She answered every question I had with compassion and made sure to set me up with the products I need to style my hair. I will absolutely be returning for my future haircuts and all my hair care needs!

My kid burst into tears with the happiness after looking at her 1st Hair cut/Hair Style.😍.Randy is an excellent customer centric person and listened to all my questions and suggested the best suggestions. The way Randy took care of my kid’s first Salon experience is so special and Treated her like a princess. I loved the way all the employees treated us and helped us with the products and services what we needed.

Tanzania should be cloned!! At my first appointment, she walked me through every step of the process to confirm I knew what she was doing, goals were established for our journey, and to support my independent hair maintenance: She was extremely patient with my many clarifying questions. At the end of that appointment, my hair looked fantastic. I referred at least 5 people to Tanzania after they saw my hair. My hair was her business card! Lol !! She was equally as amazing at my second appointment. The entire team was friendly and helpful during our first appointment. My daughter also was seen for her first appointment on the same day. Cheryl, one of the owners, called to follow up after our appointments to see if we had any questions and to confirm that we were pleased. Great customer service!! Unfortunately, customer service is no longer a priority for many business. I will continue to drive almost 90 minutes for this level of high-quality curl care and where clients are valued. I am thrilled that I found Salon Skanda! My curls have NEVER looked so good!!! Thank you, Tanzania!!!!

This salon is amazing. The customer service is unbelievably good. The owner is always present ensuring a great experience. Shelby takes care of me. It’s the best my hair has ever looked! I had some misfortune with highlights and low lights. Shelby corrected my hair back to a beautiful blonde and has transformed my hair from brittle to soft and shiny.

This was my 2nd visit with Megan and am already looking forward to my next appt. She thoughtfully seeks input prior to beginning my cut which is comforting since I have naturally curly hair. She is comfortable and talented with tight curl patterns. I highly recommend her fir curly hair expertise.

Best curly hair cut and style ever and the color is fantastic!! I have looked for years for a place who knows how to cut curly hair and this is the best place! Everyone that works there helps each other and does an incredible job! My husband and kids go there now too!!!

I’ve never felt so relaxed and at ease while getting my hair done until I met Tanzania and Salon Skanda. Tanzania is professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful and friendly! It’s obvious that she takes pride in her work and cares about providing excellent service for her clients. I’ve seen Tanzania for two curly cuts and full highlights, and she’s done an amazing job each time. This is the best experience I’ve had in a hair salon! So grateful I found Salon Skanda.

Meagan was so patient, professional and friendly. My 10 year old daughter was at ease. She taught her and I how to care for and style her hair, how to maintain it, what products to use and what to expect. She explained what was being done throughout the whole process. What a great team of stylists and they all stepped in to help. Lovely energy, beautiful space, excellent customer service!!

The service from the hair stylish was fantastic and she was super profesional and sweet! BUT when I was paying the owner was lecturing me about the payment of the blow dry should be next time more because it took longer and continue lecturing me like a kinder-warden , absolutely in necessary and rude , even uncomfortable for me at this moment! if I need to pay more I will pay more, is the way the owner of the saloon approached me and probably she does this all the time, sugestión : it needs to change, she will lose professionals inside because they will be affected for this bad management practice. Charge more if is necessary and bring this at front not at the end when I was paying and worse make me feel she was giving me the favor of not charging me! Note: Next time do not even mention if by mistake or took longer and missed to inform to the client at front , recommendation :be more elegant and nobody will feel insulted as you make me felt!

I was so emotional seeing my natural (type 4) curls being treated with such care. I had never experienced that before and I had often been so frustrated with the prospect of caring for them myself that I sometimes hated looking at my hair. I sometimes hated the way it looked. Shelby made my hair look amazing and she helped me to understand how I could do it myself in a way that was both thorough and easy to understand. My hair has never looked better and I'm so glad I found SS. You guys are amazing 💖

Probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. Megan cut my hair exactly the way I was hoping. They also offer you coffee/tea/sparkling water and make the whole experience very comfortable from start to finish.

Tanzania is the best! She is very professional, but personable. I love that she specializes in hair care. I’ve been going to her since February 2024 and my hair is inches longer and thicker. Everyone in the salon is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. The salon is bright, clean and beautiful. Tamika
