Loved my hair cut and my experience! Great response time on booking. I was a first time client and left a message to book, they called me back within 2 hours to schedule and they fit me in the next day! Karla was already set up for me and we had the space to ourselves so it felt special. Will absolutely be coming back! Loved the cute space and chillness. SHOP SMALL BUSINESS 👏🏼👏🏼 👏🏼 they are the best!

I had my first appointment with Meghan today. She was attentive and listened carefully to my concerns. She made me feel comfortable and she gave me a beautiful new hairdo. I will definitely be back!

I have never had such a bad experience. I had an appointment and the salon was closed . I waited for 40min called and texted them no answer. I like supporting small businesses but this was just ridiculously unprofessional, will never go back to the salon .

I have been going to Meghan for haircut/color for three years and I’ve never left disappointed. I have wavy/curly hair (3B) and finally made the leap to a layered haircut designed to emphasize my curl pattern. I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MANY PEOPLE COMPLIMENT MY HAIR IN MY LIFE. I have had every color of hair under the planet, but it wasn’t until my curly cut people started to notice. Even strangers have started to compliment my hair! I cannot recommend this place enough.

Every time I show up, I want to try something new and she is always there to offer her professional opinion and to try have fun with my requests! The hairdressers at Salon Sway are absolutely incredible! I am in Austin for a short period of time and got my balayage done by Tawny - this is the most I've ever loved my hair! The dimension and golden/blonde natural tone she gave my hair is stunning, and not to mention Tawny and the owner Megan are such warm & kind humans to be around. I'll be coming back to Austin just to get my hair re-done here!

Tawny is amazing, excellent attention to detail from start to finish. Asks the questions you might not even have thought to offer answers to in order to get the hair experience you are looking for. Salon Sway is SO cozy and welcoming, great parking, location and prices.

This is one of the best if not the best haircuts I have ever had. Meghan is not only a lovely person but also a consummate artist who is truly invested in you from the moment you walk in for your first appointment. She spent so much time with me to make sure she knew exactly how to execute the perfect cut tailored to me and she helped turn a really difficult situation with a previous hair cut from someone else into such a positive experience. I cannot recommend her enough. She is truly an artist in what she does. When I moved to Austin a few years ago, I had had a hair stylist for over a decade in the city I came from and I was worried I wouldn’t find someone with that same artistry. And then I asked someone with a beautiful hair style where she had her hair done and she sent me to Salon Sway. I’m so glad I asked her and made my way here.

I can’t speak more highly of Meghan and the attention and thoughtfulness she gives to achieving the hair you want. The first time I met with her she asked me what my hair goals were. I’ve never been asked that by someone and we discussed for a long time what I wanted. (i.e. less breakage, more healthiness). Together, we made my hair dreams come true and I could never trust anyone else with these delicate tresses. She’s simply the best.

Meghan is the best! I love how she sits down at the start of every appointment to understand exactly what you want! She always makes you feel special while you are there and gives you a little me time. She is also practicing strict Covid precautions.

I love Salon Sway! It’s super adorable and Meghan is so sweet. She is great at listening to what ideas you have and explains everything she is doing as she cuts and styles your hair. She did an awesome job and I left with a cut I loved and my hair felt so healthy and shiny. She also showed me a product that helps protect my hair from microsplitting which is what I had in the past. I have already made my next appointment for a haircut on my birthday. ♥️👧🏻
