I highly recommend this salon! I had called on a saturday afternoon and confirmed that they accept same day walk-ins. Marilyn was great and I love my new hair color. I received so many compliments over the past 2 weeks. I will definitely be back!!

Very nice!! They were able to do my Locs the same day I called. I love the style I got and the staffs were nice. Shop looks nice as well.

I like this salon this is my 3rd visit I got my hair done this past Wednesday in a 2 strand twists, I called and told the owner I Didnt have an appointment and could I come in if she wasnt too busy., she said sure come in. i have seborrheoc dermatists very dry skin and scalp she scrubbed and washed my hair thoroughly like 5 times which I liked To keep down the dryness.I really liked my twists and I liked her patience shes a lovely lady.also she sells products you can use.her salon is very elegant and well kept and nice looking she has a great location on Germantown ave in historic land marks #Tranzitions @Tranzitions

I went to perfect tranzitions to start my locs. The decor was amazing. The owner of the shop Merylnn emailed me the night before to let me know that there was an earlier appt time. I really appreciated that because I did need an earlier but I couldn’t call because it was after hours when I originally booked. Upon arriving at the shop I had the pleasure of meeting Merlynn who was very efficient, punctual and professional. She took her time with me explained everything I needed to know about the process and how to maintain locs after. She is very knowledgeable and I appreciated the gems she dropped. I was really unsure and nervous about the process of starting locs, however Merlynn happily assisted me with making a decision and I must say I’m highly satisfied. Talking with her was like a breath of fresh air or meeting a friend u know you would have for a lifetime. The vibe in the shop was everything I had hoped it to be. I’m happy to announce that I have a home for my hair. I booked my next appt before leaving and everything was just so smooth. This business really lives up to the reviews I’ve read upon searching for a salon. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a home for their hair or to even start the journey of locs.

I loved it here !! It's a very nice environment! The young lady Amina did my starter locs today and she did a wonderful job . She's also very sweet and made me feel comfortable ! Love the professionalism and the urgency to take care of each clients hair needs . The other young ladies (Alicia and I forgot the other young lady with the red locs ) was very sweet too ! I highly recommend!

Every time I visit this salon I feel love. The ladies are pleasant and classy, always ready to service you. Love the music and the ambiance that is present from beginning to end. Not to mention the hair washing experience where they take their time to make sure my scalp was clean. Never switching up on my girls. Always happy to book with Perfect Tranzitions Salon !

I am very frustrated with the professionalism of this company. I found a groupon stating 50% off of a $250 dread maintenance. I called in and the lady said that they no longer use Groupon? And after a long and drawn out discussion, would not honor the advertisement. I'm upset because I was excited to find the discount and to be told that I'd have to pay $165 rather than the $125 groupon because my very particular maintenance is not covered seems a bit off to me. I would absolutely honor my customers and this shop could have had my service for years to come. What a shame.

Loved it,the ladies are great. I almost fell asleep with the wash. Very relaxing. Didn't know how I wanted my dreads,left it up to them. She just simply said "Tranzition". I love it,Will be returning.

at first I thought this was a great place to go... wherever I go I go... I have a sense of humility ....but sometimes people take your humility for weakness and the last two times I went the vibrational energy was extremely low because I have to protect my energy I've decided not to patronize this hair salon anymore because it's just not worth the way I feel when I leave regardless of how great my hair looks.. I'd rather spend my money somewhere where I know that the stylist is completely focused on me and not the people around them I also want to be somewhere where the atmosphere is kind not snarky therefore I decided to take my $200 somewhere else where I can get the top notch professional service that anyone deserves...
