Salon Trifecta is the best! I write few reviews, but am happy to when places go above and beyond the norm. One week before Christmas I learned that my Mom had her heart set on a hairstyling with color for our Christmas Day events. The thought process of honestly pulling this off wasn't really that strong, but one never knows. I was amazed when I learned that Kerri was willing to stay open late on the Friday night before Christmas to help my mom's dreams come true. Not only did Kerri do an amazing job, but she also made my elderly Mom's Christmas, she absolutely loves Kerri's work! Thank you so much Salon Trifecta!!

As someone with curly hair, I am always apprehensive of new hair salons and dressers. This salon came highly recommended from a very picky person, so I thought it would be a safe bet. I am absolutely shocked and horrified at what came of my appointment. I asked for a trim, to just remove some of the dead bits. During the haircut, everything seemed fine, then I had a lot of my hair flicked over into my face near the end, so I wasn’t able to really see what was going on. When “done” I was left in pure horror, the hairdresser had cut my hair much shorter than anticipated and had decided to “shape” my hair as well, leaving me looking awful. It is somewhat of a cross between a mullet and an afro. The girl in the chair over was snickering, and I was just left in shock. Who would do something like that without asking first? I had been pretty specific, “just a trim”. The “artistic liberties” have left me with pieces of hair that are 3 inches long along the top of my head, which will not be fixed in time for my wedding in about 10 months (briefly mentioned during the consult phase of the appointment), and feeling embarrassed to be seen in public. I figured this would be a “safe” time frame for a last haircut but I guess I was wrong. This has been a horrible experience, I am beyond upset, and I just don’t get it. I was polite about having conditioner shot into my eye during washing, and brushed it off as accidental. I will have to live with this for months, possibly years, and be constantly reminded of how awful this salon was. The pure dread over if it will be salvageable in time for my wedding is going to be a consistent worry and I am honestly questioning if I should move the date because I cannot imagine this will be something that can be hidden even by then. I cannot emphasize how much I would recommend avoiding this salon.

I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Kerri does a great job with my hair. Friendly staff and comfortable environment.

The stylist I used for years moved to this place and communication for making appointments went down the tubes. It took days to hear back about possible appointment day/times. (It was not just a one time occurrence.) My stylist always use to be able to work me in since I drove from Richmond and I was told that wouldn’t happen anymore. I then asked for him to call me and he never did! A really sad ending after years of being a client.
