I have found my new go to hair salon with Alex as my stylist! I’ve been searching for 5 long years since my previous stylist of 10 years moved out of state. It’s been about a month since I got my hair done and I can confidently say I loved my hair right out of the salon and still love it now that I’ve washed and styled it myself several times. Alex listened to ALL my desires and expectations, provided different options we could move forward with and all the details that came with it. She didn’t make me feel silly for explaining that my hair is part of who I am and how it’s tied to how I feel. In fact, she validated those feelings. She also cut my hair exactly the way I wanted, which when dealing with color can sometimes be overlooked, but Alex is a true expert with the scissors. She is also kind, funny, and genuinely a joy to be around - that’s important when you’re sitting in someone’s chair for a while. Can’t wait to go back!

Victoria always does a phenomenal job on my hair. Naturally very dark brown hair and she gets me bright bright beautiful blonde every time. I’ve been seeing her for 9 years and she’s a 10/10 every time.

Alex is an absolute goddess. Not only is she amazing with hair but she's a reiki master who wields incredible gifts of healing. I had my first ever session and chord cutting. Felt tingly and moving and now Im calm as a lamb.

I’m honestly really disappointed in the results of my service . I had originally booked a root touch up and when I show up for my appointment that I drove in heavy traffic to make I was told my stylist had burned her hand and couldn’t see me . I was okay with that , but a heads up would’ve been nice and I could’ve tried somewhere else . They offered me a discount to come back tomorrow , so I accepted and got scheduled in at 4:30 on a Friday . The next day I get a text to see if I can come in at 4:00 instead , so I don’t get the point of the schedule if they are not really ever trying to honor your time . My biggest issue was that I was going for a root touch up and some how my roots are the only thing that did not get done . I think it’a crazy to go get your roots done and be told by family and friends you can still see the difference in the roots because they are outgrown. What did I get done exactly then besides a wash and blowout ?And my discount was just that the stylist honored the rate my original appointment would’ve been so if I would’ve known that I really would’ve gone somewhere else that would be more available to a “working persons” schedule . I would not go back after this experience

I’ve had such a great experience with Alex. She is meticulous when it comes to coloring and cut. She will work with your specific hair needs and while honoring what you would like done. During my consultation, we did strand test to see what my hair could take, and thankfully so because we had to pivot to a new plan. I always leave extremely happy with my results and know I’m in good hands with Alex.

My first Reiki session with Alex Roman was a very positive experience! It felt like a confirmation of everything I've been personally working through, and it validated so much of what I've been experiencing. She shared wonderful recommendations and suggestions that I've incorporated into my journey. Overall, it was an incredibly uplifting and insightful experience. The only suggestion I'd like to make is to enhance the sense of privacy, either by conducting sessions in a private room or use dividers for a more private atmosphere. That aside, I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking clarity, healing, or a deeper connection to themselves.

I came into Alex with hair that was in a truly tragic state: scraggly fried ends and suffering from an entire year of neglect. She revived and styled it far beyond anything I thought was possible. Excellent stylist and gem of a human. Highly recommend

Logen is an amazing stylist and the BEST colorist! She is very meticulous with her work — really listens and pays attention to any inspo photos. Whether you’re looking for a subtle refresh or a more of a change, she is your person!

If you have wavy or curly hair, ask for Logan! I love the cut she gave me, and she did it METICULOUSLY. It's one of the few times I've left a salon actually happy with the results. :)

My stylist was Veronica and she was the best! This was my first time doing anything to my hair and she was so sweet and patient with me. She answered all of my questions and listened to all of my concerns. Veronica took the time to explain what she thought would work and look best based on my hair type without forcing anything on me. As someone with curly hair, I get anxious about simple trims as not everyone knows how to work with curly hair. Veronica did great and kept checking up on me throughout the appointment to make sure I was comfortable with everything and that I knew what was happening. Overall my experience was a 10/10!!

I think it’s important to remember there are two sides to a story when a review is written, this is just mine. In the case you don’t make it to the end of the review, this reflects the poor outcome of the service. I did my best to remain factual not emotional and to not personally attack any individual involved. I’m incredibly sad with how my hair turned out as I have a life changing event coming up (ie the birth of my first child) and I wanted to look and feel beautiful for that. That’s why I wrote this review. My experience at this salon was more than disappointing. I came in with multiple inspirational photos very clearly outlining what I love and desire my hair color to look like in addition to discussing what I do not like my hair to look like, specifically that I do not like a brassy/yellow look and I don’t want color on my roots, I prefer the cool/ash color blonde. She seemed to understand, she showed me the photo of what the toner should do to my hair and it looked exactly like the color of the photos I brought in. I was optimistic about the outcome. As she was finishing she told me that the top/roots didn’t turn out good and looked brassy. My gut sank. Exactly what I hate. I looked at it and couldn’t believe it. It was brassy, with yellow highlights and a clear line where highlights start and natural hair begins (even though she now covered my natural with what I learned was a smudge-color on the roots). It was so unattractive. She said she had a way to fix it. I hesitantly agreed because I had already been there for about 6 hours and was tired, hungry and very pregnant, but I needed it to be fixed. I had an interview coming up and newborn photos around the corner. She did something to my hair and it didn’t do anything. She said I should go outside to look at the highlights because the lighting in the salon is crappy and I told her that my hair in any lighting should look great and going outside won’t make a difference for how my hair looks. She said she wasn’t sure how this happened and she was working with a new product line and still “playing around with it”. With reserve I said I really wish you didn’t play around with it on my hair. She offered for me to come in and have her fix it another day. I agreed. The next day I returned and discussed my expectations and she said she had a “packet” to put on my hair that would lift the root smudge she put on (which at initial consultation I asked that my roots not be touched). She said it would preserve all of the highlights that are underneath the smudge. I was very hesitant but her colleague also enthusiastically informed me that it would work great. About an hour later it looked worse. The stylist got her higher up I imagine. She asked me what my expectations were and I explained. I also asked her if she herself sees the poor color and what my concerns were and she said she did. She gave me two options. Turn the roots darker or bring the highlights to the roots. Those are literally the two things I said from the beginning I didn’t want. I declined and said that I would need to go elsewhere. I left with hair that looked like it was never touched with what looks like 6 months worth of root grow out, with a harsh transition line from color to natural hair, in addition to brass roots. It cost me $280 for that service with no reimbursement. I didn’t expect reimbursement for the product but I did for the labor. Although the stylist spent her day (again this should not take 6 hours to do, and mind you we never got to the cut) she also took my day away too. Not to mention, I work hard for my money and it was thrown away and I came out with a worse outcome than I came in with. And I liked my hair before, I was just needing a touch up.

I have been struggling to find a good haircut since I moved to Texas a couple of years ago and so glad I was referred to Alex Roman. She did an amazing job cutting my hair. She took her time and asked me questions about what I wanted. Her attention to detail is fantastic. Highly recommend her.

Alyssa is the best !! Every time I make an appointment with her I am never disappointed when I leave she always makes sure to take her time to get what I want and does it beautifully ! Alyssa is so talented and truly puts her all in her work. I got a haircut recently by her and asked for layers to a reference picture and I am so happy with the outcome!

Over the last year had a few different stylists do my extension install and never knew what I was missing until I booked here with Victoria! Her placement and technique is way different than what I’ve had in the past and it works so much better with my thin hair. I’m in love!

This is my 2nd time going with Alyssa M & she’s amazing! I’ve had a hard time finding someone get the correct color of blonde that I want and Alyssa listened and did her thing. I love my hair and she gives it a perfect cut! She’s sweet and gives you good advice about your hair, which it great! Definitely recommend going to her!

I came into the salon with little hopes of leaving with my dream outcome , however in one visit my girl Yaretzy gave me exactly what I wanted, brunette to blond, I did not think I could get there in one session. She was able to get my hair extremely light compared to what I had walked in with while keeping my hair nice and healthy, she is such a sweet person and made the couple of hours go by faster than I expected she’s amazing! I will definitely be sticking with her I am so happy with the finish product!

I'm currently in the process of working with Logan, she has been more than amazing. My hair was not an easy task and she presented multiple options for me to choose from. The atmosphere there is amazing, the stylists are interested and care about their clients, I have been looking for a permanent hair stylist and I know I've found one with Salon VC. The salon is sooo cute and all the stylists are extremely friendly. I had a gloss+cut in November with Alyssa Miller, and I will recommend her services foreverrr. She was super receptive to what I wanted and gave great recommendations regarding styling and products to use!!! Will be going back for sure.
