I went looking to get my roots colored, highlights, and a bob cut. Usually, roots and highlights are done together to save time. I asked Carolina if she knew how and she said yes. However she did it the long way and took 7 hours to finish my hair. The color and highlights look good but it was alot and my hair looks totally blonde. The cut was aweful and I cringed as she cut because it certainly is evident she isn’t experienced in cutting a bob cut. Now, I have to make an appointment to get it corrected with someone I trust. She complained out loud that I didn’t tell her what I wanted but I showed her a picture and gave her instructions. I was insulted and had to pay $250 for a bad cut. My daughter asked for a light copper and was given a dark mahogany red. She hates it. She was charged $100 We will never be back and I suggest you either don’t go there or try the man. He seemed to know what he was doing.

Last Tuesday, I visited this salon for the first time. It is convenient for me because it is close to my house and was recommended by a friend. The environment is pleasant, quiet, inviting. I had a drastic change, from long hair to short, the result is amazing . Jairo knew exactly what to do, he went by steps in the process of coloring, cutting, subtle hight lights and styling I will recommend this salon and planning to continue going. Thanks 😃

Tristemente no fue una buena experiencia para mi ir a cortarme el cabello en este lugar. Después de leer los buenos comentarios, me animé a sacar una cita, yo había ido anteriormente a hacerme las cejas y uñas acrílicas. Llegue con mi hija, nos atendieron súper rápido, no había gente, así que pasamos de una al lavado del cabello, la señora ecuatoriana súper amable le doy un 5. hasta aquí todo excelente, hasta que llegue donde el peluquero, que se que no era el dueño, apenas vio mi cabello y me dice que cabello tan largo! Que quieres que te haga? Me preguntó, a lo que respondo quiero mi corte en V, me gusta mi cabello largo, lo quiero a mitad de la espalda. No se tomó la molestia en desenredar completamente el cabello (lógicamente sale enredado después de lavarlo) Así que hasta donde le llegó el peine lleno de nudos, me pregunta te corto “esto”? (Despectivamente y agarrándolo como sino fuera cabello, espero hacerme entender) yo ya sentí la mala energía sin embargo me aguanté, luego empezó hacer comentarios, “no se porque les gusta ese cabello tan largo, será para torturar al peluquero?” (Así dijo!!!) wow yo no se si ese señor no se daba cuenta lo incomoda que me estaba haciendo sentir, hacia constantemente comentarios dándome a entender que el cabello largo era lo peor que le podia llegar a pasar. no respondí a ninguno de esos comentarios tan fuera de lugar. Yo solo veía como caía cabello, hizo lo que quiso y al final ni espejo me puso para mostrarme como había quedado mi corte. Realmente no quede para nada feliz, me sentí atacada y hasta un poco humillada (se supone que uno va a un salón de belleza para hacerse un cambio positivo, recibir buena atención como cualquier lugar que ofrezca un servicio). Le cuento a mi esposo mi experiencia y me dice: y tu no dijiste nada? La verdad soy 0 problemática, me hice la pendeja y hasta tip dejé. Lógico a este lugar no vuelvo. Y como tip al peluquero que me atendió, sino tiene nada bueno que decir, mejor quédese cayado. Gracias por leer hasta aquí!

Betty added highlights to my hair and she was amazing! Everyone is so kind and professional. My Spanish isn’t so good, but they worked with me anyway. This was my first visit and I’ll definitely be going back.

Jairo is absolutely amazing!! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair, he knew exactly what I wanted and recommended exactly what I needed. He did partial highlights on my entire head, to not dye the bottom half of my hair and refrained from damaging it. Then he did a full toner and base color and gave me face framing layers. Absolutely loved every service, was fairly priced and my expectations were far exceeded. I’ll be back soon!

Tengo 4 anos de ir a este salón y aunque de repente me voy a otro salón por tiempo o distancia siempre vuelvo porque son los mejores. Don Jairo siempre me deja espectacular mi cabello, su esposa muy amable y todo el personal dan un trato muy especial. 100% recomendado

Venus Salon is the best beauty salon in the area. Both Jairo and Carmen (the owners) are always there for you and will make you feel like you’re the only costumer in the salon, plus they will give you coffee or food while you wait! Best costumer service ever. I have cut my hair with Jairo and Nidia and I only have excellent things to say about them. No to forget their beauty supply, I literally can go get my hair cut and leave with the best products to take care of my hair. They have introduced me to the Marcel France line which it has been perfect for my hair since I suffered of dry scalp, and I have improved it a lot. All of it thanks to such amazing recommendations from Jairo. 10/10! Venus salón es el mejor salón de toda esta área. Jairo y Carmen siempre van a estar pendiente de cada uno de sus clientes hasta el punto que te sientes como si fueras el único cliente en el salón. Te dan bebidas, café y comida, aparte de eso te tratan con mucho cariño. Siempre corte el cabello con Jairo o con Nidia y solo tengo cosas muy buenas que decir de ellos. Aparte de eso, ellos tienen el beauty supply en el mismo salón, que más que poder ir a cortarte el pelo y también salir con los mejores productos para tu cabello. Gracias a ellos mi problema de caspa a mejorado, Jairo me introdujo a la línea de Mariel France para mi tipo de cabello y ya no tengo nada de caspa. Gracias Jairito! Venus es un salón 10/10. Totalmente recomendable!
