I have been coming to this salon for a few years now and was always happy with the services provided. The few hair stylists that I went to for my cuts all left this location few months ago but I decided to give this one more chance with a different stylist. BAD decision on my part and will definitely NOT be going back. The cut was barely noticeable, hardly trimmed any hair at all and my hair is extremely fine and shoulders length.... NO shampoo/conditioner and NO blow-dry services but I was charged for a full service !!! Time to look for a new salon

I just got my hair cut by Cathy for the 2nd time at Salon Wave and she did such a good job! I get a blunt bob and Cathy is so sweet and really makes sure I like it before I leave. She’s very patient and double checks that everything is perfect!

I've been here multiple times with different stylists and they're all great. The massages during the Shampoo is worth the price alone!

This was my first time ever getting my hair done and the most pleasant experience ever! Ikuko was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable being my first time getting my hair done in my life. I must say the look was amazing after! I had no idea the length of my hair and was just such an amazing job! I’m ready for the wedding I’m partaking in and most grateful for this Salon being here and Ikukos amazing expertise! Would highly recommend getting your hair done here

I have been here a few times but every time I come get my haircut they out do themselves. I get the best haircuts here and I’ve gotten dozens all around the world. They are so precise and careful and make the time very enjoyable.

I've been going to this salon exclusively for 4-5years now and everyone is always very nice and professional. Not to mention I've probably gotten my haircut by almost all the stylists and have never been disappointed. Would highly recommend !

Always a good experience, its a nice space with very kind people. I sometimes find that it can be tricky to find a place that can cut short hair well, but Salon Wave is consistently great.

Had a wonderful experience with Cathy! I haven't gone to a salon in years and wasn't sure what I wanted, and she offered her recommendations for what she thought would work well. She checked in with me regularly to make sure I was alright and she was able to give me a really flattering cut with layers. After this experience, I'll definitely be returning for more haircuts in the future!

Highly recommend! I’ve been coming here for my hair for a year. The place is nice and clean. The staff is friendly. You’ll get a hot towel after washing the hair and a little head massage(Japanese-style). I’d recommend Nozomi. She is quite nice, patient and meticulous! I’ve been getting my haircut from her even before she joined Salon Wave.

I found this place after walking out of a nearby salon during a consultation for a haircut, when it was clear the lady would botch the cut. It was clear by the way she was holding the sections of hair, I would have had a 19902 Raychel mushroom shaggy, rather than a long layered angled bob. So, i walked out of the appointment, and began searching salons and reviews in the area. I walked in to see if they had an opening, and I made an appointment for 2 days later. Upon arrival I was greeted politely. Cathy asked exactly what I wanted. She even handed me the comb and let me show her exactly how I wanted the hair directed. We discussed cleaning up the ends, the U shape cut in the back, and longer length in the front, as well as the minimal layers that also match the angle. She agreed to cut my hair exactly as I wanted. She stopped at various points to discuss whether I was ok with more length being taken off. She was extremely considerate, and very talented. I cannot tell you how many haircuts I have had in the last 5 years (in DC area) where I had to go home and recut it myself. I was so happy to get it cut, and it turn out perfectly. Despite my hair being curly, she did a perfect blow out with a round brush, no flat iron needed. She only used 1 product when drying/styling, and it held up despite the heat and moisture outside. It had started raining before my appointment, and I had thought it was going to ruin my straightened hair. I'm happy to say I was wrong, my hair didn't swell or revert to curls. I will be back. I will be volunteering for work assignments in NYC so I can get my hair cut by Cathy.

I just got the best haircut! Yumiko listened carefully to what I wanted, recommended things to make my hair healthier, and generally just got my style and vibe. The entire experience was relaxing and fun and my hair looks fantastic. Nice, clean salon, too! I will be back - already booked another appointment.

My husband and I have been cutting my hair with Nozomi for 2 years and we’ve never been happier with our hair. My hair is very curly so I’m picky. Also Nozomi does the best scalp massages. Highly recommend.

Nozomi is the best! She always delivers exactly what I ask for and is realistic on expectations. She is extremely collaborative during the entire process and checks in throughout to make sure things are going in the direction I want. Thrilled to have found someone I can 100% trust with my hair and really listens to me after being disappointed too many times by other pricier salons.

We recently got my wife’s hair cut here and Nozomi does absolutely amazing work! She was meticulous and knowledgeable. We initially went in without a solid idea of what we wanted but Nozomi was able to make recommendations despite how vague our request was and delivered perfect results. Highly recommend this salon!

I got my hair colored and cut with Noriko and she was fantastic. I’d never colored my hair so I had lots of questions. She sat with me to figure out what I wanted and was very sweet and helpful. I will definitely be coming back with Noriko.

Yuya was so amazing! My hair was as long as my waist and I asked him for an inverted bob haircut. I absolutely love it!
