I had a wonderful experience right from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with a smile and a warm "How can I help you." Danielle (my stylist) came to the front to escort me to her station. Then, we discussed what I wanted and what we could do to accomplish it. Needless to say, I walked out very happy with exactly what I wanted!

I absolutely love Salon Zen Aveda! From the moment I walk in, I’m always greeted with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the service is top-notch. Gigi is hands down the best hairstylist! She truly understands my hair and always knows exactly what I need. I trust her completely, and she never disappoints. Whether it’s a simple trim or a fresh new look, she works magic every time. I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. I love GiGi I am confident when I sit in her chair when I would not anywhere else. I have been going to Zen for years it is one of my happy places. No brass for this long hair blonde! I trust Gigi and the experience she has.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had an appointment with the hairstylist Danielle - she works on the main floor left side of the salon second chair to the back. I arrived in 9 min. late to my appointment and when she sat me in the chair told me she wouldn't have time to blow-dry my hair after my hair cut. That would be after the fact that I profusely apologized for being late because I'm not in the game to waste people's time. They will say I was 12, 13 and 15 min late as they tried to say it's not the case and I'm not interested in doing the she said she said game. I asked why and she said it was because of being late- now I understand we need to keep on schedule but it's good to note that I called 20 min. prior to my appointment stating I would be 10 late because of a bad accident on i75 that I was sitting though- the person on the phone never mentioned I would have to pay full price and not get the service i am paying for- not to also mention the haircut was $80.00 and after you get blow dried they go in again to make final cuts to women's hair that I would not get. Danielle became so unprofessional and originally refused to put me in contact with the manager so I then told her I had no confidence in her cutting my hair. I went to the receptionist explained the situation and asked for a new hair stylist- lucky there was someone willing to fix the mess- little did Danielle know I have been a client at this location for 10 years and the reason for a haircut is because i was getting it done for my bridal shower days after my cut. My haircut with the new stylist turned out decent- no complaints other than the fact that the hot water was broken at the salon so my hair wash was ice cold on my head- yet I still had to pay and was willing to pay $80.00 for my service. But unfortunately it gets worse... I went to check out and I picked up some very expensive shampoo I like from there and when I asked for the pumps that go with the large bottles I was told by the receptionists they ran out... she looked around and had to give me used pumps from the back.... She actually told me 1 was new and 1 was used but turns out when I got home they both were used. $315 dollars later and feeling so deflated I promised myself I nor my husband or my family would ever go back. This branch lost a long standing, good paying customer and while I understand this is a franchise and clearly no one cares it's disheartening to know being 9 min late to an Aveda haircut could ruin a professional relationship. The manager did call me and left an Vmail but I'm not interested in tilling the same soil- the manager will have her hair stylists back- they work together- no point in saying my peace when nothing would change at the end. SO here I am... telling the world my experience so they don't have to go through what I went though. My appointment was Friday January 24, 2025 @ 3:30 PM and will most definitely be the late time I stand foot in that location. What Daniell needs to realize is her poor choice and nasty behavior reflects the whole Aveda team- Because of her now the entire team gets a bad rap… It takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch. The consultation was thorough, and I immediately felt confident that I was in good hands. I opted for a haircut, color, blowout and the result was absolutely fantastic. I walked out with a fresh new look that I absolutely adore. The attention to detail and the care taken during the service was evident and I could tell the owner was highly skilled and knowledgeable. The salon itself is pristine and beautifully designed, and I loved the overall vibe. I was offered a refreshing drink while I waited, and the music playing in the background was just the right level—relaxing without being intrusive. The best part? My hair has never felt so healthy and vibrant! I will absolutely be returning to ZEN and highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-tier service, a relaxing environment, and results that will leave you feeling confident and gorgeous. I went to see Emma I had had extensions put in long story short they were sewn in incorrectly. My hair was matted and broken. Emma took her time through my tears as I watched my hair fall to the ground as she gently removed them she reassured me that my hair was going to be OK. She made me feel safe and pretty again I would recommend this salon and Emma to the moon and back.
