Really enjoyed my first experience at the salon. Mercedes was so friendly and chatty, and understood my hair type. She took the time to show me how to properly dry my curly hair and I was really pleased with the end color and cut result. I'll definitely be coming back :)

I had my haircut a while back with Maggie and my hair felt lighter and healthier and looked beautiful! I’m used to paying $30 for my quick cuts over the years but happy I decided to try some place new. They are reasonably priced and I felt like I was taken care of well. Maggie greeted me with kindness and professionalism. She was attentive and thorough asking about what I wanted and discussed advice for how to care for my hair and various options for products that work best for my type of hair. I was very happy with the results and also had a nice conversation. I would definitely recommend and go back again. Thank you Maggie! I have visited Salon 718 Dumbo several times and every experience has been great. Today I sawJanelle and she was a warm and personable hair stylist with knowledge about products and solutions to questions I had regarding my hair care as well. She made me feel welcomed and cared for throughout the experience. I would highly recommend her services. I left with a fresh feeling cut that looked healthy and full and and my energy felt full of life too. Thank you Janelle! I saw Esmeralda today. She did a wonderful job- I really needed a refresh and I left feeling light, fresh and healthy. I really enjoyed our conversation as well and was grateful for the information she shared regarding her expertise in hair care. I’d highly recommend her services. Thank you!

I came to the Dumbo location for first time last week, to get to see Keturah again who had cut my hair in the summer at the Fulton location. That summer cut was honestly the best haircut I have ever had and I was not disappointed the second time around either! Keturah is thorough, precise, artful, and has the most beautiful/kind energy to top it off! I will definitely be back :)

I had an incredible experience with my stylist Ari! She truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. She took the time to listen carefully to my needs and preferences, explaining each step in detail so I fully understood what to expect. I was especially impressed by her expertise in working with kinkier textured hair. She handled my hair with such skill and care, ensuring the process was completely painless which was such a pleasant surprise! Every question I had was met with thoughtful and clear answers, and I could tell she had such a passion for her craft. The end result exceeded my expectations, and I left feeling amazing! Exceptional customer care and the ability to work with my hair types were definitely highlights. 10/10 Highly recommended!

It was nice coming to this salon. From the moment you enter, you are greeted and asked if you would like water or a bubbly drink. It was also nice to meet Annmarie, who cut and styled my hair. She is very pleasant, as are all the employees. For someone who likes to pamper themselves and clear their thoughts, this is a great place.

Krystal is AMAZING! I went to her for a last minute blowout and hydration treatment and she gave me so many tips for keeping my hair healthy. I ended up booking a cut and color with her afterward - she did the best job! She talked through the process with me, really took her time (even though it was nearly closing time), and gave me some of my favorite color I’ve ever had, and helped me pick out some products I’m now obsessed with! She and the other stylists were so kind and helpful. Cannot recommend Krystal and Salon 718 enough!!

Marlene was very kind and friendly. She was very gentle with my hair and she knew exactly what she was doing. Very knowledgeable about hair types and products that are good for the hair. For anyone who has long hair she’s the person to go to when to trimmed or to style. Thumps up 10/10

Got my relaxer done by Annemarie and she’s amazing! She was so patient with me as I’m new to getting relaxers and had done so many things wrong. She cautioned me about how to do things moving forward and advised me based on how I like to wear my hair and how to keep up with maintenance. Will be back!

I got my hair cut and styled with Annmarie. I had the absolute best experience. It’s best a while since my last haircut and she was truly the best! We talked through the entire process, she told me what she thought was a good idea and listened to everything I wanted!! I’m absolutely obsessed with my haircut and already booked my next one!! Love this place and would recommend it and Annmarie to others!!

I recently came to salon 718 in Dumbo, because of my “fairy hair Mother” Annmarie Parker!! She is hands down NYC’s finest and best stylist there is. Yes, there are many talented stylists, but Annmarie truly wholeheartedly loves what she does. I have known her, followed her and always will for the last 14 years. My hair is naturally curly and it’s hard to find someone who knows how to work my hair without damaging it. I have learned so much from Annmarie over the years because she not only shows you but educates you on what works for your hair type. Whether if it’s a quick sexy cute up-do, or glamourous waves her intuitive skills bring your visions to life. I am grateful to know her and have her in my life.

It’s been a great experience having Lauren handle all my appointments. Her attention to details and care is one of a kind. My hair has been always been very challenging. Having natural black to platinum blonde is not easy to pull off and she made it possible. My hair is been healthy since I’ve met her and able to maintain that as it’s been my biggest concerns.
