I have been coming here for several years and my hair is always awesome. Lexi does a great job with my color. She has an excellent eye for getting my color perfect. My stylist, Eddie is the best. I have been his client for 20+ years. The salon is welcoming and professional.

I have been going to Annie for my hair color and cuts for 4 years! Each and every time I leave in awe at how great my hair looks! It’s so rare to find a stylist who you can let have free range in your hair and leave looking better than when you came in!

I have visited SalonDJ many times over the past few years for various services. If you need a professional headshot, check out their “Hairtography” offering. The stylists are excellent, the space feels luxe and relaxing, and I am always happy with the results. I was especially pleased with my style today- a blunt cut and rich espresso color. Lexi executed this one with care and precision, making sure the strands were even and fell on the shoulder just so. Thank you Lexi and the SalonDJ team!

I just got my hair dyed by Lexi and she is AMAZING! I showed her a chocolate brown color I wanted for fall and she matched my inspo PERFECTLY! So so happy with my hair! I've also gotten a few blowouts from her and she nails it every time!!

I’ve been going here for over 5 years and have never felt better about my hair or gotten so many compliments about it (even by strangers in planes). I’ve gone to both Amy and Lexi who are experts at both color and cut. I only wish the salon was closer to where I live, but I’ll make the trek for Amy and Lexi.

I’ve been going to Lexi for about a year and a half for extensions and now color and she completely changed the way I see my hair! I love the way my hair looks now and it makes me feel so good about myself! I recommend Salon DJ to all my friends and family. Everyone is so nice and it’s fun to spend time here. Such an amazing place!!!!!

I have been coming here for the last few years now and it is the only place I trust with my hair in the city! Lexi does an amazing job every time- she knows exactly what I want and how I want it. The atmosphere of the salon is great- everyone is super kind, it’s always very clean, and very updated. Would recommend to anyone needing a new spot in the city!

I’m 23 and just moved from California and got my hair done by Laura, she is the absolute best! I’ve never been so happy with my blonde hair. She also did an amazing haircut on me! Will definitely be back soon.

Lexi is the absolute best! Ever since I moved to Chicago, she has been the only person I allow to touch my hair. Lexi even helped me plan out my wedding color over a year in advance, and it turned out perfect! I normally go blonde, but last year I decided to go red and she killed that as well, (see pic below, I am obsessed with this color) and had me back to a bright blonde by my wedding! Can't say enough good things about her and salon DJ.

Annie Markley is a fantastic stylist! She's done my hair for years and has always done an amazing job no matter what I'm going for. Even when I'm not quite sure, she's so great at figuring out what works for my face shape and overall style. I can't say enough about the amazing group of stylists at Salon DJ. They are not only all super talented but also genuinely caring individuals. The salon has such a great vibe and the space itself is a fun and comfortable spot to pass the time. I also have to rave about my own stylist, Lexi. She is SO TALENTED. I have blonde, thin hair and she does the color perfectly while also keeping my hair healthy. I really appreciate how thoughtful she is and I always leave the salon feeling great. Her attention to detail and amazing personality makes her such a gem. Can't recommend enough!

I’ve been coming to Salon DJ for over a year now, and after walking past the unassuming location for several years, I regret not becoming a regular client sooner. Annie is AWESOME, does excellent color services and gives me the best haircuts I’ve had. I’ve also had makeup done by Nina and it was incredible. Very comfortable environment, they offer wine and/or coffee while you’re getting your service, and they don’t push products on you. Highly recommend!

Val is an absolute rockstar. Every time I leave this studio, I have a new skip in my step. I went to see Val originally for a double process, and I haven't looked back. She always knows exactly the right color, how to keep my hair healthy, and she was with me on my wedding day making sure I had the exact updo I had envisioned. Val is so incredibly generous in her thoughtfulness and attention to detail - she will go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect and always takes notes so we can refer back at the next visit. On top it all, she's just a wonderful person to spend a day of double processing with - I always leave with great recommendations on anything from books to bars to morning smoothie recipes.
