Carey Lamar is the best hair stylist, period. I’ve been coming to him for years, first to fix a color nightmare a different stylist made. He is a master at color and I highly highly recommend him to anyone.

I like being in the salon. This is the best place i have ever visited. The Concierge Val is amazing and so caring, provides all information you need. Definitely recommend. I’ve been visiting this place for over 1year and not interested in looking for another place.

I’ve had a Studio here for seven years and it’s the best experience I’ve ever had ,the best part is that our concierge Val is an awesome person and whenever you need anything, he’s right there helping you there’s no drama and everybody is excited about everybody else’s success. I’ve been doing hair for over 30 years and rentinga suite isn’t easy but i am glad i chose salins by jc. The owners are very kind and i have no plans of ever leaving.

Love this this place! It radiates warmth and friendliness as soon as you walk in, tasteful decor and kept impeccably clean. The owners are not only kind but also highly professional. The neighboring suite owners contribute to the positive atmosphere, fostering a sense of camaraderie. Safety is a priority with secure key card access and a convenient client keypad system. The on-site concierge is a gem, especially during busy hours, ensuring a smooth experience for both myself and my clients. One notable aspect is the flexibility at the end of the lease. The move-out process aligns with the contract terms without unnecessary hassles. Additionally, they offer classes, access to a washer and dryer, and a break room. What sets this place apart is the understanding nature of the owners, creating a welcoming environment, especially during personal challenges. This understanding allows for a comfortable return when ready to resume operations. My experience here has been exceptional, and I can't imagine working anywhere else!

Salons by JC is one of the best salon suites in Chicago!! As a stylist who works here, there is so much diversity within the beauty industry here. The concierge and building managers are so sweet and extremely helpful. Wouldn’t be happier anywhere else 🩷

This place is like going to a hospital but for your hair. I like the one on one that you get to have with your beautician. The owner is also very nice.

This place is the hub of beauty care. There are so many beauty specialized professionals, like nails, skin care, men's hair, color..etc you name it. The concierge is very friendly and helpful.

As someone who used to rent here and also still comes for services I will always love this place. I’ve made lifelong friends and I’m always welcomed warmly and receive exceptional services. Elsa at Flawless Permanent Makeup and Shana at Skyn Studio are masters in their craft and I would recommend them to anyone!

Shear Vixen is the only person I will ever let touch my hair ever again. She is professional, personable, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. If you don't know what you want, she will help figure it out. And then she delivers! She checks in throughout the process to make sure you're liking what you're seeing. If you want to change it up, she adapts. I had no idea my hair could look this good, even months after a cut and color. I have never had so many people ask who did my hair! Thanks Vix!
