This review is for salon professionals only: As a past tenant for almost 3 years This was a good place for me to start my business, but never would I ever stay there. The Spare key was stolen by a tenant, and we were all told to make plans accordingly if we locked ourselves out of our room because we will not have a key anymore. My sink was never repaired even though I reminded them several times. I could hear insane conversations, and profanity with my door closed. I complained about it many times for nothing to be done. My clients were starting to feel uncomfortable. There is two homeless people outside that constantly scream and yell at people. There is homeless people that live in the dumpsters, and they go through the trash by the front of the salon on a regular basis. I decided to break my lease because I was offered a window suite closer to my house NOT with SBJC - I knew I was going to have to break my lease and would pay to do so. As I made Payments they badgered me constantly threatening delinquency. Even though I had already paid half of the balance and had intentions of continuing to do so. At this location, I experienced a lot of favoritism, fake accountability, And overall, the environment was not suitable for my clients. There is a lot of other Salon Suite options. I highly recommend looking for a different location.

Had a haircut by a very professional barber/ cosmetologist named aka PJ..... Definitely will return , 100 % satisfied! Thank you PJ !! I can't figure out why the 5 star did not show!! So , I fixed the rating as it should have originally been , which was a 5 star!! See you soon!!

Family has been using hair by Liz for years and i finally got a chance while visiting San Antonio. Excellent service and was able to help me tailor my look when i wasn't sure we're exactly i wanted.

Laura Bella was amazing! My first time getting my hair colored at a salon and she made the whole experience so comfortable for me. She walked me through each step and what the results would be. I love my hair!

I went to BoldNBare Room 40 with Ms.Vanessa !! She was so amazing 🤩 I got a Brazilian wax after waiting 2 months. The experience was painless, fast, beautiful results, my skin feels so soft !! Vanessa talked with me through the appointment, she made me laugh and feel comfortable. great conversation, she made my whole year! Thank you Vanessa 🙏🏼💜

I went here 2 months ago . It was my first time getting a wax service and dying hair. The first service was excellent that's why I gave it one star. But the dying hair was horrible . Let me tell you the first. I found that salon using Google maps. I called to book an appointment. The lady on the phone was friendly and nice. She tells me that the dying hair is gonna be around 60$ or 80$ . I'm fine with it so i get the appointment. The place is nice and they offer a privacy choice. The lady who works on hair color positions i think her name is Cindy I'm not sure . I Tell her i need to cut my hair and change the color. She corrected my hair color without cutting my hair first so she charged me for long hair!!! And she said the price is gonna be 300$ to 400$ without explaining who it comes from 60-80 to 300-400$ So she does the highlight hair. Because she said dying hair is gonna cost 500$-600$ . Ohhh god. Finally i got a very thick highlight. Two of them are black from binging of my hade . Yellow in the middle. Black in the end. My hair is like a traffic 🚦. I don't like my hair 😞 and today after 2 months i still dislike my hair. She gives me the worst looks i have ever seen myself like that. And finally my hair is falling 😞 (ugly hair and worst money)

I went to get my haircut and this has been my usual place. My reason... Laura my hair dresser does an amazing job on my hair. I just tell her what I want and she gets the job done beautifully. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants their hair done exactly the way they ask. She's the best, hands down!

Recently moved to San Antonio and I found this place on Google. It was my first outing since having my newborn. I was excited and ready to relax. I booked 3 services with 3 women. Hair, eyebrows, and facial. The women who provided the services were beyond exceptional. However, upon entering the building, the people gathered at the front suites we're EXTREMELY loud. I could hear the loud laughing and yelling during all 3 of my services. It was not relaxing at all due to the noise levels. There were people laying down on the waiting bench on the way to the eyebrow woman's suite. Very annoying because I then had to sit in the uncomfortable hard chairs down the hall. The vending machine took my $2, and it doesn't have a card reader. Overall, I would try out a different location.
