Hector is amazing! My family and I have been going to him for years. He is so welcoming and accommodating to everyone one of his clients. He has the biggest heart and will take the time to treat his clients on a one on basis if needed. Definitely worth the experience!

If you’re looking for a new hair salon and stylist, you’ve found it! 🤩🙌🏼 I moved to San Antonio four years ago and tried a few places before I finally found Hector, at Salon Sync. 🎉 Immediately I knew my search was over! 💇‍♀️🥳 Even after all these years, he still listens to all of my hair cut and color ideas, with patience and sincerity, to make sure I get exactly what I requested. The salon is easy to find on Broadway Avenue, nestled among several other historical district shops and has a classy, modern, clean vibe! This is the place…look no further! 🎯

1. Not easy to find. 2. Construction makes it more difficult to locate and access. 3. It’s hot outside & have to walk a ways from the parking lot. I get inside for my 1pm appt, and I immediately notice that it’s hot. Hector shows me to his chair, and I tell him I’m hot, so he points a (very dirty!) fan at me that’s sitting on the floor. Then he puts the apron on me and we discuss the plan. He goes to the back, and I sit there fanning myself, lifting the apron, trying to cool off to no avail. I begin contemplating the hours this process will require, and that the hottest part of the day is yet to come. I realize I cannot do it, so I go find him to let him know asap. Me: I’m sorry, but I am very hot, and I don’t think I can do this. Hector: What do you mean; I’ve already begun mixing the product? Me: I’m sorry but I’m sensitive to the heat and there’s no a/c. Hector: We have a/c but it takes time to cool. Me: Oh, you must turn it off overnight. Hector: So, are you saying you don’t want the service? Me: I’m saying I’m uncomfortable and don’t want to be for hours. Hector: Well, you are making me uncomfortable rn. (My tone was apologetic and mellow until this point.) I then asked why he felt uncomfortable just bc I said something he didn’t like. He said he didn’t see the problem and reiterated that the a/c was on, with an attitude. Me: It is summer in South Texas. Everyone presumes you will provide adequate, functioning a/c, and since I can’t feel cool air, it is irrelevant whether it’s technically on. You have fans bc you know the a/c is ineffective but they are not compensating for the insufficiency. I am not willing to sit & sweat in misery for hours for a luxury service that costs hundreds of dollars simply bc you feel I should suffer through it. Goodbye. Needless to say, I do not recommend:

This place was awesome, great and relaxing environment. The guy who cut my hair was really great. Differently recomend.
