Michelle did an amazing job! I walked away with voluminous, bouncy curls that was exactly what I wanted. She managed to fit me in at the last minute and took her time to ensure my hair was perfect. I’ll definitely be back!

DO NOT GO TO MICHELLE I WENT FOR A WASH & SET AND SHE LITERALLY BURNED MY HAIR OFF. WHEN I WENT TO RUN MY FINGERS THROUGH IT MY ENDS WERE BURNED OFF. WHEN I CONFRONTED HER SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND LAUGHED & PROCEEDED TO TAKE ANOTHER CUSTOMER. I HAD TO STOP IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SERVICE TO PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Sweep is amazing! Takes his time to give you exactly what you ask for. Uses a professional and sanitary airbrush. No lingering hair. (Just don’t steel my appointment!! lol)

Today, I just got my hair done at Salsa salon. Michelle did an amazing job. She took her time and listen to my needs and wants about my hair. My hair looks so healthy and voluminous! Perfect for graduation!!! I would highly recommend it!!

I cannot express how impressed I was after my appointment! I’ve lived in the area my whole life but after having barbers and hair beauticians who created a negative experience for me or just left me with a terrible end product, I’ve always gone to beauticians outside of the area. After my typical hair stylist was booked for the month I was frantically looking for someone who matched not only their quality but their care for their clients. Initially due to a small communication hiccup I was skeptical of booking an appointment but I’m absolutely glad I was wrong. The salon/shop is a welcoming atmosphere and Michelle is a fantastic hair colorist. She is very thorough and values her clients. It’s without a doubt in my mind that this salon is fantastic and I’ll definitely be coming back in the future.

I’mma let you know right now - I’m white as paint. But I walked into this place thinkin it was gonna be questionable? And MAN was I wrong!! These people cut my hair better than the white boi down my block! Incredibly professional, clean, kind, and a REALLY good cut all around. More barber shops should strive for this level of excellence.

This is my second visit and I am still very satisfy. I was visiting my cousin in BK from Montreal Canada last November in 2021. My hair is natural and was looking for someone to give me a good hair cut because I didn't get one in year. I look on google she had good reviews and was 15 min from my cousin place. She is very professional and respectful. She knows what she is doing and she does not rush. She takes the time to do your hair. It's a very clean salon and she makes you feel comfortable. When I came to NYC last week for August I know I was going to see her and once again she did not disappoint. She will be my hairdresser every time I come down to NYC. Thank you Michelle for a great hair cut! Will definitely come back in November!

Very focused and detail oriented, but I had said I wanted to grow my hair out long and wanted to clean it up as it was looking kind of messy, there must have been some misunderstanding because i received a short length haircut. If I had wanted this haircut then it would be an A+ job, will try again sometime and will update my review next time I go.
