Thank you, Lily for the most amazing time at Salt & Sugar! I flew in for vacation and wanted to do something new with my Mom so we chose this head spa experience and I’m so glad we did! Lily was kind, informative, and helped me truly relax. I did the 70 minute spa and wished it never ended. I cannot recommend this more (also, all of the products smelled so good and I appreciated in this environment the use of single use protects for every customer!)

Things I don't understand in life: How this place has a perfect five star rating. This was one of the absolute worst experiences of my life. To detail, in an effort to save you the time, money and energy should you be so tempted: - Dirty hairbrushes (both hair and grime, as they clearly weren't sanitized between clients) - The cloths used for the facial were dipped in the same water as my hair, then applied to my face, and rinsed with my hair so my hair had skincare products in it (I washed my face the moment I got home and still broke out) - An absolute PULVERIZING of my scalp and neck that still has me in pain because it screwed up my muscle balance - The water halo that makes this so appealing when you see head spa videos was on for maybe two minutes max (and it really was enjoyable for those two minutes, but only those two minutes) - A hand and arm massage that had the service provider digging into my forearms. I was wincing in pain and pulling away from her (she didn't get the message and just kept going) - A tangly mess of hair once we were done that had her RIPPING through my hair with abandon to detangle, as she clearly does not have appropriate hair care training - Being shamed for both being single and enjoying it - Lack of rough blow dry as promised in the service menu - Tipping on their app started at 25% (I'm a solid 20% tipper, but I wanted to leave 10-15% for this mess) - When my hair did finally dry at home, it was greasy in clumps and dry and frail in other places (not to mention I could tell there was breakage from the brushing) I very highly suspect that the people working are not properly credentialed for the services they are providing, and I'll be reporting them to the state boards of both Cosmetology and Massage. I get this makes me sound like a Karen, but the amount of physical pain I have been in since this service is important to share so no one else makes the mistake I did; if it wouldn't have caused any physical dysfunction, I'd have left it alone and just told friends not to go there. I would very much like a refund, and I'd also like to be reimbursed for the $700 I've had to spend to try and get the muscles of my head and neck corrected (which has made this a nearly $900 service that I did NOT want to pay for). Do yourself a favor and don't come here.

I went in for neck pain and stiffness from sleeping wrong. I came out able to move my head around more than I had been able to in days. I chose the Thai/Deep Tissue combo and it was painful but needed. Highly recommend.

OBSESSED. This place was extremely relaxing. I had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the services. The head spa was so refreshing. Lana was also the sweetest, and she made sure I was comfortable every step of the way.

Omg!! It's real. I thought the reviews were fake because everyone was gushing about how amazing their service experience was. Well...WHOA 👀 Everyone needs to do this at least once. Was 100% heavenly! I want to go back ASAP. My mom and I did the head spa and massage package. Could not have been better. Neither of us ever had a head spa before so didn't know what to expect, but we were NOT disappointed. I would love to take my daughters back too.

First time ever doing this and it was incredible. Felt amazing and my scalp feel SO much better. As a girl with curly hair, I use a lot of products so getting rid of that extra build up was long overdo. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!

So many reasons to recommend Salt and Sugar: I was visiting from out of state and didn’t see availability on the website so I called. They were able to accommodate me and I’m so glad they did! The massage was very nice but the head spa piece was out of this world. The space is very clean, calm and inviting. My experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend treating yourself.

Treat yourself with Lana!! She is amazing! So kind, professional and knowledgeable. I felt at ease with her the entire service, her room is cozy and relaxing with soothing music & water trickling sounds- makes you feel like you’re in your own little oasis! I did a head massage with a facial and the products she uses are amazing- I have sensitive dry skin and WOW my face has never felt better. She also uses great hair products and a Dyson to quickly dry your hair after- what a great way to have a self care moment!! Every little detail was perfect and well thought out, I’ve never felt more relaxed and my scalp has never been cleaner. Thank you Lana! Highly recommend ❤️

I had the most amazing experience with Lan at Salt & Sugar spa. I had the works and it was absolutely amazing. The Head spa is a treatment that I have never had before & I’m hooked! Lan said I can have another head spa in 3-4 weeks & I’m definitely going back! Her massages are out of this world… she knows exactly what your body needs & what will feel great. I have been to spas all over the country and this is a DO NOT MISS experience. I am a RN and hygiene is of the upmost importance to me…this spa is impeccably clean. Plus Lan was completely focused on my relaxation & wellbeing. Treat yourself & book before you have to wait too long!

What an amazing experience!! I have never had a scalp and hair spa day! She used a microscope on my scalp before and after - holy smokes what a difference!!! I also had a massage. I mentioned that my sciatica was acting up. She zeroed in on that area! I haven’t felt this good in months! Highly recommend this!!

Lana is truly phenomenal. Very attentive and super strong pressure if you want it. One of the best deep tissues. The head spa was wonderful and getting to see how clean my scalp was after was so cool! Highly recommend.

This review is from my wife, she had the massage appointment: If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I would! 🤩 Very attentive, worked on all my knots, and the head spa was amazing. I'm here on vacation from Virginia and had never seen a head spa before. If you've never done one, do it! The scalp check was weird but neat, it's nice to see how not so dry my scalp was after one head spa treatment. 💆‍♀️
