Salvatore Macri is one of the finest haircutters in New York City. I always look better when I leave his place then when I entered. More importantly, his haircuts improve with time until at some point they degrade like all haircuts. I hope

Professional all the way. Was in NYC on business and overdue for a haircut. Sal Jr. took me in as a walk-up without a reservation (it was early morning). A real gentleman and a true professional. Best haircut I have had in years. Even though I live in NH, I am in NYC regularly on business, and, whether he knows it or not, Sal is now my guy. Will be making my appointments with him based around my travel. Really happy I took a chance and just walked in. If you want to look good (read: 'great'), you can do no better than Sal.

Sal Sr. has been my barber for many years. I actually travel to NYC from CT for my haircuts even though I now work in CT. Sal, his brother and son are the best in the city. You can not go wrong with anyone in the shop.

Sal Jr has been my barber for over 13 years. I travel an hour out of my way for a haircut that never disappoints. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
