I’ve been to many NY salons and this is the best . You can request joico color which is so much gentler than other coloring and their own hair products are terrific . The staff are all lovely and super talented . 6 stars!

Management and customer service is unkind and elitist - the stylists and front desk staff are excellent but the attitude about hospitality is truly poor. Its a shame that they have so little compassion for people actively willing to pay for their services. The exception is Cristie who is 1,000% awesome at her job and you should go see her - actual BEST haircuts I’ve ever gotten. Would’ve been fabulous if I had received better customer service but unfortunately management was unwilling to work with me when I had a scheduling issue - tried to speak to them about it but met a brick wall. If you are expecting kindness, go somewhere else.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! It was my first time there and I will definitely be coming back. I had my appointment with Victoria! She was amazing, from asking me if I’m comfortable and making sure I loved my hair which is surely did :) so friendly and so nice, she understood what I wanted and she gave me a heads up if the hoar I wanted didn’t come out like that which I really appreciated <3 she’s really is magnificent when it comes to hair. I saw her work from TikTok’s and Instagram and I loved it from the moment I saw it. And I showed her a inspo pic of what I wanted and she fully delivered and I love it so much! I fully trusted her with my hair and I will definitely do it again!!! SHES THE BEST!

Always have such a great experience at this salon. Diana always does my cuts and blow outs. Victoria always does my color and toner. As a blonde, it’s hard to find a great salon and they are the best!

Amazing experience at Sam Brocato with the so so so talented Victoria Melton🫶 I came in with some stripy highlights from a different colorist that I didn’t love and Victoria put me at complete ease and saved my hair giving me the most beautiful, natural, blended blonde. I’ll definitely be coming back to Victoria for all my hair needs moving forward. She’s also the absolute sweetest!!

I came here at the recommendation of a friend, and I was thrilled! Excellent service, great environment, and friendly staff. I got my hair cut by Lisa, who is a gifted stylist. They let you have coffee while you get your hair cut.

I am giving this business an one-star rating because I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience. I paid $52 for eyebrow and lip services, but what I received was a job that was far from professional. The quality was disappointing, and I ended up having to fix my brows myself, which I managed to do much better than they did. As someone who frequently travels for business worldwide, I can confidently say that this was one of the worst places I've encountered. Additionally, the staff gave off a 'mean girls' vibe, which is not something I would recommend to anyone seeking a pleasant and professional experience: I had an appointment to which I arrived on time and they made me wait like 15min when they knew I was in my lunch break, and they weren't even busy. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I’m the type of person who normally leaves the hair salon in tears so I am SO happy to have found this salon. Everyone was so kind the stylist actually listened to what I wanted and gave me my best haircut in YEARS! Will absolutely be returning and recommending to everyone I know.

B is absolutely amazing! Walked out absolutely transformed and loving it! The entire experiece was stress free and B's energy is the best. Went from long hair to short and couldnt have imagined a better cut.

Extremely rude front desk staff who have no regard for their customers and are only interested in your money. I will never be back here, and I was a loyal customer that got blow-outs twice weekly. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting my wedding haircut with Diana B. From start to finish she took care of me - an absolute master at her craft. Was the best haircut I’ve had in my life full stop. Diana takes her time to ensure she doesn’t miss a single detail. She is also extremely kind and funny - we had a great time together. Could not recommend her enough!

Whenever I want to look my best, I know I can count on B to get the job done! She's incredibly knowledgeable and talented, and her attention to detail is top notch. Aside from the great results, the salon has an amazing atmosphere and B made me feel right at home. I can't wait to go back and cannot recommend B and Sam Brocato Salon enough!

Going to SB salon is always a lovely experience; the staff greets you with kindness and wonderful service. The stylists and colorists make sure you’re well taken care of and you don’t leave until you’re absolutely in love with how you look. They listen to you and actually cut the amount of hair you ask for (we love boundary respecters!) and will guide you of course but not force you or surprise you with anything. Trust is big to me, so this matters a lot! I love the staff here so much I bring my nieces here as well when they’re visiting.

I’ve been several times to this salon for blowouts and all were positive experiences. This was my first time doing the hair smoothing treatment. I did it with Jade. I had just gotten my hair colored a little over 2 weeks ago (at a different salon in my hometown that I have been going to for years) I was told prior to the treatment that my ends that are lighter might go a shade. I have a root smudge to make my highlights look more natural blended with my dark roots. I didn’t expect the treatment to make my hair so brassy and remove my root smudge and most of the toner from the color I just did. I was upset and tried to point it out to Jade and her response was “it’s just hair people are dying.” I felt like I was being guilt trip for being upset about a ~$500 service that completely RUINED the color that I had just done recently and really loved. It’s also super brassy against my skin tone (with a hard line at the top) and honestly looks SO BAD for me to go out looking like this. Had I know that the treatment would have had this much of an impact I wouldn’t have done it. Pictures of how my hair looked before vs after. This service should not be sold for people with color treated hair.

Literally the best experience! Cristie Paduano did my hair and makeup for a wedding and I was SO happy. She listened to exactly what I envisioned, helped me refine it by talking through different ideas and techniques, and her execution was flawless. I felt beautiful and would absolutely go back to her any day!! I got so many compliments.

Wonderful salon, Gaia saved my hair making it even blonder and healthier! I couldn't ask for anything better but a hairstylist like her , professional and kind!
