Samantha has been creating and maintaining my lash extensions for over 5 months now. She is meticulous in her work and I always walk away feeling so confident and glamorous. I've had lash extensions from plenty of other lash artists and her work stands out. She is also so sweet and welcoming! 10/10 recommend every-time!

I got a lash lift and tint 5 weeks ago and I can't believe that it is still curly! I used to see Sam at another salon downtown and I tracked her down to see her again because she is amazing at what she does and is the sweetest person ever. I cannot say enough about how happy I am to have my lash girl back again!!

I am so happy I found Leah. My first experience with her was a blowout for my engagement photoshoot, and the hairstyle turned out 10/10. She is now my go-to for haircuts as well. I have had 9 haircuts with Leah, and I come out feeling more confident each time. She listens to my needs and ensures she delivers that and more! I also had extremely positive experiences with Samantha for lash extensions and subsequent fills. It was my first time trying lash extensions so I was fearful the lashes would appear too dramatic and unnatural for my taste. I drive myself an hour up to Ballard for all of my appointments because there is no one else in the area as dedicated to their work as Samantha. I first went to her for a pin blowout when I had shorter hair and Samantha worked her magic on me. Since then I’ve been a recurring client of hers for lash extensions. She took the time to get to know me and personalized my lashes to fit not only the frame of my face but fit my lifestyle as well. She walked me through the whole process and provided maintenance tools for me to use at home. Samantha is more than just a hard worker, she is a kind person and she consistently delivers high quality, budget-friendly work. I highly recommend this beauty bar to everyone.

I had THEE best experience getting my lashes done with Samantha! First off her bed where you lay during the services is SO comfortable. It's giving orthopedic... it's giving my back is healing. And, of course, the lashes were amazing. SOO cute and just made me feel like a little doll all the time. I got so many compliments on how good they looked, even several weeks after they were applied. Plus, my makeup routine was so much shorter, and no more false eyelash related pain and frustration when the glue just isn't gluing. The application, refills, and removal were all so seamless and comfortable. AND there's free parking. Would 100% recommend.

I've been going to S&L Beauty for my lashes for over a year now! I love voluminous, long lashes, but Sam is able to do as subtle or as glam as you prefer. In my first experience with lashes about 2 years ago the artist gave me big lush lashes that I loved, but turns out all of my lashes were glued together in clumps. I wasn't even aware of this until she moved away and I embarked on a journey to find a new lash tech in Ballard. The first two techs in the area I tried either didn't agree with how long I wanted them or couldn't do the wispy volume I was looking for, and after almost giving up I finally found S&L Beauty. Sam was so patient with me for the 2 or so month long process it took to shed and recover from my clumpy lash job, and has helped me maintain my lash health (and make me so confident without makeup I'll roll out of bed ready for the club) ever since. I think the prices are fair for the area, and I never feel like Sam is pushing me to get more frequent fills just to make more money like a lot of lash techs are accused of. She's helped me find a good understanding of my lash shedding and needs, and if I need to push to three weeks due to scheduling conflicts or wanting to save a bit that month, my lashes do not become a lost cause by the next appointment. And as awkward as I am falling asleep on the lash bed and snoring, I can't stop getting my lashes done. Highly recommend Sam!

Best place to get your hair blown out and lashes done! I’ve been going to see Sam for 5 years now and have continued to follow her. Not only do you walk out looking great, you’ve also had a warm welcome and great conversation! For lashes, she also makes her own fans as she goes so they are guaranteed to last…coming from a person that used to shed them a lot and need weekly fills! ☺️

I had such a good experience with Samantha and Leah! It was my first time getting a lash lift and Samantha did a great job walking me through the process and my lashes look amazing now. Leah gave me a blowout that left my hair feeling silky and bouncy. Their studio was gorgeous, conversations were great, and parking was easy to find. Overall a wonderful way to spend a self-care afternoon, I'll definitely be back!

I have gotten several blow outs from Leah and they always turn out beautiful! This time I got my first lash lift from Samantha and it turned out better than I imagined. I have sensitive skin and she was great at patch testing me beforehand and making me feel comfortable in the process. She walked me through each step beforehand and sent me home with great aftercare instructions. I will definitely be back!

It was an absolute pleasure spending the early part of my afternoon with Leah for a cut and blowout! The environment was gorgeous, easy to find, and parking was super easy! So cute and best experience. Samantha did an amazing job on my lashes. The very first time i saw her i showed her photo of what i wanted and she nailed it. I went to 2 other lash artist before finding her and showed them the same photo of my own lash extensions i wanted and both over did it. Samantha is an artist and master at the craft and i would highly recommend! This studio space is super clean and cute!
