My daughter was really wanting a haircut the day after Christmas, and I was looking for a salon near us that was open. I also wanted to find one that had great reviews. I called a couple of other salons, only to get my call answered by their voicemail. We ended up getting an appointment within an hour of my call with a lady named Brittany. I was beyond pleased with how welcoming, friendly, gentle and patient she was with my very shy daughter. She made my daughter's (originally) long hair into a beautiful pixie cut. It was a very dramatic change for her, but my daughter absolutely loves it, and she has gotten nothing but amazing compliments for it! 🥰💕 If my daughter or I ever need a new hairstylist, or an urgent haircut, I'll definitely be calling this salon and booking an appointment with Brittany! Thank you again for all you did for us, Brittany!

I am so sick that I ever went to this salon.i would give less than one star but I do t know how. I wanted something new for the holidays and was referred here by a friend. I saw the owner and he butchered me!!!! See for yourself my before and after pucs! He let me go home like this but I didn’t notice until I got home. How could you NOT know you did this to someone?? I emailed him and he tried to get me to come in to fix it but I declined! Do you blame me? I asked for a partial refund ( I paid $290) but he ignored my request. Honestly, I believe he owes me a FULL refund! Don’t you agree? It’s awful and the worst cut I’ve ever received! Looks like my two year old grandson cut it. But I do love the color. Lol.

My son came there with long curly hair that he had had long his whole life. He wanted to cut it off because he was tired of having to wear it in a ponytail, always being hot, and it always feeling so heavy. Mom (me) was very nervous, scared, anxious, and a million other feeling all wrapped up in one body. I will start by saying the staff were all great from the phone call making the appointment to walking through the door. They immediately noticed my anxiety and were so comforting. Brittany is absolutely amazing. She beyond knew what she was doing. You could tell she knew about curls. She made me feel so comfortable with the whole process of my son cutting his hair. I love this place and will go no where else!!!! As soon as I get things together I will be in to have her do my hair also. My son walked out saying that he will start only going to her!!!!

Brittney cut my hair for the 1st time as I’m relatively new to Wichita. I’ve been patronizing the salon for waxing since I got here to the city. But Brittney ROCKS🤘🏼. Pays attention to detail; KNOWS how to cut hair and all around a cool person to talk with. I’ve found my stylist💇‍♀️. Thanks Brittney🫶🏻. Terrible experience, service and staff. My color was done incorrectly (even though I was required to do a $25 color consultation prior) then upcharged for this shoddy service. Beware!!! Stylist was not transparent about her pricing, the web page nor the receptionist give accurate pricing either. Expensive lesson, never going back.

Sami Halaseh Salon is the best place in town to get your hair cut, colored, and more. I’ve been going there for nearly 3 years now for haircuts, and I consider Sami (owner) and Angie (front desk) to be friends among a friendly staff. Not only will you enjoy your hair and the luxury, reasonably-priced Aveda hair and skin products offered, but you will also leave the salon feeling overall better than when you walked in.

This was my first hair cut in, well, I can’t even remember how long. I’m so glad I chose to come here. The entire staff was so friendly and kind. Brittany was my stylist. She did an excellent job not only cutting and styling my hair but advising me how different cuts would look on me. Bonus - she is a great person and fun to talk to. They have a great selection of quality products for your hair and body as well. Easily and enthusiastically recommend!

After moving to KS from TX, I was extremely nervous to find a new stylist. I knew Aveda products, which lead me to Brittany and she is the absolute best! I’ve been going to her for almost 4 years…from colors to cuts. She’s always taken extremely good care of my delicate dry/curly hair. She’s very knowledgeable in all treatments, and gives the longest lasting blowouts I’ve ever had!! She truly listens to her clients needs, wants, is soooo kind, compassionate, and really gets to know her clients

Brittany and the whole staff at Sami Halaseh are incredible!! Brittany has been cutting my hair for several years. Regardless of how I want my hair cut or styled, she always makes it look awesome! They are also all very personable and easy to talk with. I would definitely recommend!!

My daughter’s and I have been going to Brittany for about 5 years. She is amazing! She been with us through first day of school, homecoming, proms and graduation. She has straightened, curled, trimmed, and cut their hair and colored my hair as well. She is very knowledgeable and provides great advice for hair and color. Everyone in the salon is so friendly. They even try to squeeze me in when we have a last minute hair need. I can’t imagine going to anyone else!

Terrible color service from a stylist and rude customer service from the owner. I gifted my nanny a hair color service so she could cover her grays and get a refreshed color for family photos. This salon has been in business for decades so I trusted that they would take care of her. After 2 hours, my nanny messaged me saying she would be another 90 minutes because her roots had turned out a completely different color than her ends and they needed to strip all the color and do it all over. When I finally picked her up, I found her blow drying her own hair and trying to wipe dye stains off her forehead and face. The stylist (Brittany) had left her alone in the chair without a word and disappeared into the back room and never returned. I told Mr. Halaseh that the result was unsatisfactory because the color was uneven and the stylist had only dyed the top layer of hair and had left all the under layers a different color. Instead of apologizing or offering to make things right he tried to justify the result. When I told him I would need to go elsewhere to fix the hair, he became snippy and rude and cut me off by saying “Fine. Have a good day.” and stalked off without another word.

The place is amazing, great atmosphere. The family that owns the place is super nice and amazing. They did a great job and it was just a great experience. They did an amazing job and even though it's a little expensive it's totally worth it. I'm never going anywhere else again and I regret nothing.

This place is wonderful! The ladies at the front are always so friendly and very helpful as well as all of the other staff! But the main reason I continue to come is because of Brittany. She is an awesome stylist. I have been going to her for years and don’t have any plans of changing anytime soon. I have never had a haircut that wasn’t excellent due to Brittany’s awesome attention to detail. I trust her enough that I know I could tell her I want something different and she would do a phenomenal job. I can not recommend Brittany and Sami Halaseh Salon enough!

If you’re looking for a new stylist, I would recommend Oz to anyone! He listens to what you want, and gives honest, knowledgeable feedback. His precision cuts are amazing, and if have curly hair, this is your guy!
