First time client, had the pleasure of getting Melki as my stylist. She was very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Melki explained everything in detail, giving me the confidence to trust her with my hair. I’m still in shock how amazingly talented she is. Absolutely obsessed with how my hair turned out. I normally love Sam's salon and have been coming here for years; however, after my experience this past week with Melki, I may be looking for a new salon. Do NOT let her come anywhere near your hair. A couple of weeks ago I came in for a cut and booked her because I recognized her from 2qute salon; I showed her a wolf cut with a lot of layers and texture, which she did not achieve and she ended up walking away and having another stylist fix my hair. She gave very few layers and the cut was extremely blunt, so we ended up having to cut off a LOT more hair than was necessary to fix it. Against my better judgment, I went back to her this past Friday for an updo. An extremely simple updo, at that. She would not listen to anything I wanted, and got angry at me for speaking up and telling her I did not want her to do what she was doing. She accused me of not knowing what I wanted, and began aggressively pulling and brushing my hair. She also told me that if she was not working for Sam, she would be charging me $500 for this style. For what??? I have never been treated so poorly or unprofessionally at any hair salon before. She also used a large thick hair tie and made an extremely poor attempt to conceal it. I'm pretty sure anybody who's ever done hair before would know that was not the appropriate hair tie. I just left and paid because I did not want her to continue to mess up my hair. My mother, who is not a hair stylist, was able to fix it and achieve the exact style I wanted, so I'm not sure why Melki was not able to style it. Frankly, I'm not even sure why she has a job.

Joseph did an amazing job. My personal hair stylist cancelled on me. And I was feeling extremely sad and decided to go to the salon after 7 years. I asked for a “jellyfish”or “shaggy” look with red color. My vision came to life. Super beautiful he is very talented.

Permanent waves may not be in vogue right now, but I'm 64 and have fine, thin, straight hair. Planning a major vacation, I decided a perm was the best way to combat the ponytail blues, but JEEZ I couldn't find one anywhere! A few chi-chi salons said they would see me for a consultation in 3 weeks, but I'm leaving in 2! Another told me "Honey, that ain't in style no more!" Well, neither am I! Anyway, I searched further and further from home and found this simple set-up, not so very far, and they could see me the next day! Ian was my stylist, and you couldn't ask for a lovelier man. Chatty but not too chatty, very encouraging and about 50% less $$ than a high end salon. DEFINITELY coming back!

My first time here and it’s a big ‘WOW’. My stylist Joseph was super friendly and made me feel at ease. I walked in with long hair unsure of what to do. Joseph did a wash, cut and style. I liked Joseph checking with me again on the length before cutting and he did a fantastic job cutting and layering my hair.

I’ve been going to Sam for almost 15 years and have had a number of lengths, styles, COLOR (he’s awesome with color), and I can honestly say that he has exceeded my expectations every single time. He and the rest of the crew are very warm and very professional. Very relaxing environment and very clean! Thank you, Sam!!
