I just had my first Ashiatsu massage at San Antonio Ashiatsu, and I am absolutely blown away! As a massage therapist with 20 years of experience, I thought I had seen it all—but this was next-level. San Antonio has a little piece of heaven right in downtown! The atmosphere was warm, comforting, and smelled amazing, creating the perfect environment to truly relax. My therapist was incredibly skilled, intuitive, and delivered one of the best massages I’ve ever had. If you haven’t tried Ashiatsu yet, you are seriously missing out! I had an excellent visit at San Antonio Ashiatsu Massage- this was my first time receiving this type of massage, and it was amazing. I had been suffering from some lower back pain, and Valerie was able to relieve much of it after one visit. Both the space and overall experience were great, thanks!

I am exploring San Antonio while my wife is attending a conference and was feeling a little tight all over due to travel and sleeping in random hotel beds for the last few days. I have had lots of different massage modalities, but never Ashiatsu, so I thought I’d give it a shot. I was lucky that there was an opening, but now would totally understand if they were fully booked as Valerie is awesome all around, great chill vibe and great at her craft. With Ashiatsu the ability to give a deep massage and her ability to find the right spots and gently work them out is amazing. The studio is super clean and very calming. Wish I lived closer, so I could see her on the regular. If you’re questioning yourself about making an appointment, let me help you out. DO IT!!

Today was my first day receiving an Ashiatsu Massage. I was a bit skeptical on its effectiveness in contrast to a regular massage when first booking the appointment but willing to give it a try after reading on its benefits. Upon my arrival, Valerie greeted me in a welcoming manner that made me feel like a valued client. She demonstrated a sincere willingness to assist in relieving any aches and pains that I had come with from pre-existing conditions. Within the session, I felt a different type of pressure and relief to what I am typically used to in a massage. It was relaxing, not rushed, and completed in a systematic manner that let me know that she was very knowledgeable in such practices. Upon completion, I felt that all the target areas that I had expressed felt more agile and free of pain. I felt like I could do a backflip. Along with her expertise, calming environment, and Valerie’s professional and warm demeanor, I would recommend San Antonio Ashiatsu Massage to anyone looking for a massage for relaxation or alleviate any body aches and pains. I most definitely will be a returning client.

I have had a lot of massages. I workout hard and I need good body work to recover. This is the best massage I've ever had. Without me saying a word she finds all the knots and tight spots. It's truly remarkable what Valerie can do with her feet. And the pressure she can apply! There is no comparison to the hands, she can put so much more weight behind her feet and the feeling from it is amazing.

During my first time experiencing this type of massage I was a little apprehensive. But Valerie put my fears at ease and made the experience more than comfortable. She took the time to explain the process and what expectations should and shouldn't be.😌 ✨️ I always feel more relaxed after each session. For years I have had pain and limited movement range in my neck due to a pinched nerve. I've been going to the doctor, chiropractor, physical therapist with limited results. After just a few visits with Valerie I can now turn my head and look back over my shoulder with no issues. Valerie just doesn't provide a simple massage, it's an intense experience.

An hour of peace and relaxation. Honestly treated with the care I needed have had back problems for years one session here and already feeling the benefits. If you haven't booked a session yet you are missing out better hurry up and get yourself in for a session it will get you back to normal.

I would come back to San Antonio just to get another one of Valerie's massages. It was amazing! I've been traveling for a few weeks and was sore from poor sleep and mediocre hotel beds. Valerie treated all the areas that I told her bothered me and pinpointed areas a didn't even realize were right. The pressure was deep but not uncomfortable and I felt more relaxed and loose after than I do at most massages. First time trying ashiatsu massage and I highly recommend it

SSShhh! Valerie Morillo may be San Antonio’s best kept secret, a gem of a massage therapist always advocating the importance of self-care. Valerie Morillo is all that, and today I learned she is so much more! Valerie, AKA the Backwalker, should be better known as the Body Whisperer. Going on 2 years, Valerie has helped keep my problem shoulder in check with her ashiatsu massages. But days before my regularly scheduled appointment, I let Valerie know that I was wanting some relief from sinus pressure, a common malady I suffer from due to ongoing allergies and the occasional cold/flu. There’s no exaggeration when Valerie’s clients say that she listens. With our over dependency on our smart phones, the development of personal relationships with others, including the one with ourselves, have often taken a backseat. Thank goodness Valerie listens to you and for you. My appointment this morning began with sitting in her infrared sauna, then I experienced my first lymphatic massage. It was exactly what my body needed. After the massage, the sinuses felt less swollen, the pressure and congestion was alleviated and my nasal breathing was restored. This was my very first time having this type of massage and I loved it! Valerie is the best! I am heavy into fitness and I work out a lot and I usually get deep tissue massages. This type of massage is very different. The best way I can describe it is like a massage and stretching all at the same time. Valerie was a consummate professional, very knowledgeable and proficient; she is a true master of her craft and extremely talented. I was in San Antonio for the weekend for a convention, and decided to take a break from busy working life and kids with some pampering. My massage was next level--absolutely amazing! I go for regular massage at home (with hands), always deep tissue, but the Ashiatzu method worked through my tight spots and knots so much better, and I felt no achiness the next day. Setting up was easy through the website and directions and parking was simple. I work an assembly job so i needed a deep tissue that hasnt seemed to work any where else. The work space was incredibly zen and comfortable. Had surgery a year prior as well as other problem areas that she listened to and expertly avoided. The massage was heaven, I’ll be the first to admit an hour is simply isnt enough. I left the session feeling relieved as some of the knots and aches Were alleviated.
