I am not happy. I'm not sure WHAT products you are using on African hair to destroy curl pattern and texture with a standard blow dry and occasional flat iron but recommending those with natural hair to STEER CLEAR of this establishment. Those who choose to avoid relaxers should not end up with hair that is straighter than a relaxer. Whatever you're doing you need to STOP. Under NO circumstances should natural hair end up with the results of a relaxer. Whatever lazy short cuts you're taking to minimize the efforts of styling black hair needs to STOP or STOP doing black hair! 😡

This Salon is fantastic wonderful, friendly environment. Have known Darlene and Nayari for many years. They take great pride in their work and are very meticulous. I'm so happy to have started coming here my hair hasn't looked and Felt This Good in a while!! Nayari did my hair yesterday and it still feels so soft and silky have gotten many compliments today on how it looks she takes her time and does a fantastic job. Will definitely be seeing her again and again! This salon is a must try I guarantee you will love it!! So glad we ran into you Nayari😊😊. Darlene your daughter learned from one of the best thank you!!!!

Always great service and all their stylists are amazing, just by sitting there while they do your hair and you see their work on other clients you know you are in a place where stylists have experience and they do a great job..whether color, cuts, styling, this is my go to place. They are also friendly and you always feel welcomed. Really nice environment and they did an amazing job with the remodeling.

Rebecca is fabulous! My daughter has a lot of hair and it is super thick. She has now done her hair twice and both times it has been gorgeous! She's super professional and going there makes it feel like home. I love being in that salon❤️

Yanet was very condescending and rude because I wanted a perm on already dyed hair. I had been taking a break from chemical processes for over 2 years and I understand my hair was not what she expected but nodding no while brushing my hair and sighing at everything was very unprofessional. I asked for a haircut of just the tips and instead got so much of my hair taken from me, and I could not stop her because I trusted her to know what she was doing. After I looked at my hair at home, I noticed uneven strands and a choppy look. She was also very rough on me even after I told her I was tender-headed. I was crying silently while she pulled on my hair with the most horrible attitude ever. While I prefer for stylists to tell me when something isn’t going to work on my hair, she did not present any options or products to get my hair up to par to what she needed. She discouraged me from going to other salons but I went to get a consultation at another salon and immediately got told that my hair was pretty healthy and we could do a perm after a protein treatment. I ended up having to cut more of my hair there as a result of the uneven cut and did get a perm. My hair is very healthy even after the perm because my stylist presented me with options to do a protein treatment before and during the perm. It was that simple and I am glad I trusted my instincts on the fact that Yanet just wasn’t comfortable doing perms because who know what my hair would have ended up like if I did come back after the protein treatment. I am not confrontational at all and would have rather listened to her but I’m glad I didn’t because I was very unhappy with how my hair turned out. My scalp was also raw for the days following due to how rough she was. I could not scratch my head without being in pain.

Rebecca cut my hair, it’s curly and super long and it has never looked so amazing. A simple butterfly cut but it brought out all my layers and was done beautifully. Highly recommend San Juan Hair Salon!

Absolutely in love with my hair! I’ve been waiting so long to get it done but it’s hard to trust a place to do it really good! But I recommend this salon 100% my stylist was Yanet :) & she took her time and was really nice to squeeze me into her schedule last minute. I’ve never been so In love with my image, thank you for the confidence boost Yanet! Btw I also love that this place is Latina owned, I felt so welcomed 🥰 Ps I got curtain bangs, long layers into a V cut & dyed my hair a dark red 💇🏻‍♀️

Es mi primera vez y me encantó, el Salón y todas sus estilistas son muy profesionales y amables. Mi nueva estilista es Rebecca Moreau; cuando llegue se tomó su tiempo en preguntar que yo tenía en mente y me dio sugerencias, al principio estaba nerviosa porque siempre he tenido el cabello largo pero hace 6 meses me sometí a una operación de Bariatrica y se me ha caído demasiado el pelo y me cambio mi textura en fin necesitaba un cambio y he tenido más complementos porque a todo el mundo especialmente a mi le ha encantado. Se la recomiendo 100% . Gracias Rebecca porque no tienes idea lo bien que me siento después de esté makeover.
