Wonderful experience! I booked it for a Sunday afternoon with Kylie. Before the facial even started she asked me questions about my biggest concerns for my skin, what I use at home, and how my skin has reacted to products/treatments in the past. She tailored the facial to my current skin concerns for the winter (dry dull skin that’s also sensitive since I have eczema). The facial part was very relaxing. Steam, gentle exfoliation, lymphatic drainage, and lots of moisturizing products. Everything was tailored to my skin and its needs. I was left glowing afterwards!!

I've struggled with breakouts for years and then even more so after having kids and she created a safe non judge mental space to share my concerns and budget, while also providing a targeted treatment plan to address my specific skin issues. I'm excited to have a clear pathway for managing my skin and feeling more confident with its appearance overall!

The entire team is kind & professional. My friends & family know to get me a gift card here so I can get my pampering on! It’s taken me a long time to write this review. Don’t ask me why. But I’ve been giving it a lot of thought after my last visit last Friday. I couldn’t tell you the last time I had seen her but I’ve been using her products after finally pulling the trigger after seeing her for about a year and it made a world of difference. At some point my skin became sensitive to the cleanser so I had to stop using it and this past visit asked her what can I use now because cetaphil just wasn’t cutting it anymore. Showing up last Friday I couldn’t express more how disgusted I felt with my face specially because I know hormones where also in play. So we did the acne facial which is what I started with when I first saw her and let’s just say I typically fall asleep during the facials but I MISSED HER SO MUCH we talked for most of our time. She is truly amazing and the confidence boost you get walking out of the room is irreplaceable. I 100/10 recommend her for all your skin care needs. You cannot go wrong in any way possible. She's super humble and bright and will explain everything. If she pulls out her model get ready because you are about to be educated and you can't help but leave and brag about her to your friends. I was introduced to her by my friend and then I introduced my friend to her. Don't run, sprint to Cassie.

Prior I left a great review for a service I received from Cassie and Rachel. Update on 9/27/24 I have no issue with the quality of the services provided by Sanctuary Skin, but the business needs to learn to show compassion and grace to those who are struggling.... This week I had scheduled a 3pm facial appointment with Rachel on 09/24/24. Weather conditions this day were dangerous. I left my house in a timely manner to arrive to the appointment, but there was backed up traffic due to accidents from the rain and other factors. Knowing this, I used Sanctuary Skin's communicative platform. I fist called the phone number and no one answered, so I then texted the number as well as shared my location. When I arrived Cassie informed me that my facial would be cut short and I would not receive my scheduled add on due to being late. Both Rachel and Cassie did not know that I had messaged about being late. I brought this to their attention and Cassie said she would speak with her receptionist who manages their established communicative platform. I asked if I could have a different service that would take less time, and they told me they would, "give me a one time rescheduling courtesy". I went to the spa for self care, and its a 30 minute drive from my home. Had the receptionist communicated that I would not be able to be seen, I would have not driven the 30 minutes to Vbeach for this appointment. However, Cassie said she would speak to the receptionist and for me to, "tip Rachel generously to make up for it." I was planning on tipping Rachel well regardless, but I do not like being encouraged and/or manipulated to do so. The problem lies with Sanctuary Skin's communicative platform. My time & Rachel's time was wasted. * Please note that I received a service the following day, and I did tip Rachel. However, her tip was from the service received and her kindness, but I did tip a larger amount than I had budgeted, and this was due to pressure from the owner, Cassie. To continue the story. I was involved in a car accident around 4:45 pm on this day. I promptly texted Sanctuary Skin and said that I did not know if I would have a vehicle for my newly scheduled appointment on 09/25/24. The receptionist responded the following day 2hrs before my appointment stating that if I wasn't there, per Sanctuary Skin's cancellation policy, I would pay 50% of the fees. I told her that I was able to get a rental, but if I had not, I would need to speak with Cassie. To summarize, I had expressed to the owner and Rachel that I was having hard time, and while I respect Cassie as a business woman, her lack of compassion shocks me. Additionally, I had expressed to Rachel and Cassie that as a teacher, I have to look for sales and budgets and I strongly feel that Cassie is disregarding me as a client because I am not someone who can afford to always pay a premium price. This is very unsettling. I will no longer send business or clients to Sanctuary Skin and will look for another small business who can see me as person, not just a source of income. Sanctuary Skin is, as the name implies a TRUE Sanctuary. Since arriving in Virginia Beach it has taken me a very long time to find someone I trust with my skin. Cassie takes great pride in her work and is extremely knowledgeable. She only has treatments that she trusts and have been backed by research so you know you are in excellent hands. She listens to your specific concerns and then tailors a skin care plan to your needs. Cassie and her staff are professional and always on time. I would give Cassie and her team 6 stars if I could! Amazing Skincare Experience! I had an incredible skincare experience with Kylie that exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and comfortable. She took the time to listen to my skin concerns and customized a treatment plan just for me. The products she used were top-notch, and I could immediately feel the difference in my skin. Kylie’s expertise and knowledge really shone through during the session. She explained each step of the process and gave me valuable tips on how to maintain my skin at home. The results were fantastic – my skin has never felt this smooth and glowing! I also appreciated the calming and relaxing atmosphere she created, which made the whole experience even better. Deciding to get a facial from Cassie at Sanctuary Skin was the best decision I've ever made for my skin! Now, I visit regularly for facials and treatments, including the BioRePeel. My skin has been glowing ever since! Cassie is very knowledgable and skilled, tailoring her clients' treatment regimens to what suits their individual needs. I have sensitive and acne-prone skin, and Cassie is very respectful about my experiences of what does and doesn't work for me. She shows that she cares by going above and beyond to provide excellent service, like taking the time to customize my treatments, providing thorough skincare education, and responding to follow-up questions/concerns via text. She is fair about pricing and at times will offer discounts. While Cassie owns Sanctuary Skin, she also has a wonderful team of estheticians that received training from her. I have also heard that the massage therapist, Staci, has magical hands! The space at Sanctuary Skin is so relaxing, and I am always looking forward to my next visit.

Hands down THE BEST facial and massage in Virginia Beach! I cannot tell you just how much the sanctuary skin ladies have done not just for my skin, but for my overall wellness! I’ve seen Cassie and Kylie for my facials (their signature facial is a MUST) and Staci for my massage (cupping and reflexology from her is AMAZING). The time they take getting to know you, your skin and your needs, in addition to their incredible service, is what makes the overall experience at Sanctuary Skin something worth coming back to again and again!

I followed sanctuaryskinbycassie on Instagram after being captivated by a couple videos posted; the spot treatment being what interested the most. I finally scheduled an appointment a couple of months ago to get on a treatment plan for all the skincare issues I have. Initial reaction to my first facial with Cassie was, ‘why did I wait so long?!’ Six treatments later and my skin has never looked better! While I’ve had facials before, no one has ever cared for or tended to my skin like Cassie— she is truly the best esthetician I’ve met, plus she is such a gem in addition to being at the top of her profession. I never feel “sold” and only walk away with trusted advice to get my skin to where I want. Also, the atmosphere is perfect and conducive for maximum relaxation. Go see her! Your skin will never look better!

I've been to Sanctuary a good handful of times now and its always such a relaxing environment. If you go, see Sam! She creates such a judgment free and safe space and really takes her time with you. Before I started seeing Sam I didn't really have a skincare routine beyond using Cere Ve in the shower but she is extremely knowledgeable and has helped me formulate an at home routine to keep up with in between visits that has given me a lot of confidence in how I look and feel. If I could give Cassie a 2 million a review I would! Best skincare in Virginia Beach. I’ve followed Cassie since she was in a small studio space. To see her grow her business and her team is truly amazing. To the decor, atmosphere, customer service, quality facial, and her conversation - Cassie truly cares about what she does. My skin always feels amazing and she has drastically helped me get rid of unwanted skin tags and my scarring from one of my surgeries on my chest to where it is virtually invisible! I love these ladies so much! I first started getting massages with Staci about a year ago and SHE’S GOT THE HANDS! She gets in-tune with your body and truly knows what’s going on and how to relieve the tension. Rachel always guides me in the right direction when it comes to facial treatments. We work as a team to find out what’s the best solution for my skin. Staci, Rachel and Cassie have worked with me to accommodate my needs and concerns when it comes to my body and skin. All the ladies at the studio are super nice and always super helpful. I have been seeing Cassie at Sanctuary Skin for roughly 4 years now. That in itself should tell you a lot! Cassie is always kind, upbeat, and willing to listen to any and all concerns I have with my skin! My treatments are always personalized and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived! The atmosphere is peaceful, calming and always inviting. I also like how Cassie never forces product purchases on me. I tell her my concerns she offers suggestions and lets me decide from there! I love the way my skin looks and feels now! Anything I say about Cassie would not be enough! What I can say is Cassie knows her craft and you will not be disappointed!! 10/10 … all of the stars! ⭐️ I also can’t skip over Sanctuary Skin’s amazing massage therapist, Staci! Staci is a gift to the craft of healing massages. She always listens to my concerns, focuses on issues I’m having and offers advice to follow up with all massage treatments! I have done several services with her to include cupping, deep tissue, Himalayan salt stones etc .. and I am never disappointed! Staci doesn’t massage with a one size fits all mentality and my aches and pains are gone every time I leave her treatment room! She also offers a CBD oil add-on and I can not wait to try that out!
