From the moment I walked in, the soothing scent and Sonia’s warm welcome set the tone for an amazing experience. The intimate environment, personalized care, and detailed explanation of the Korean products made everything feel luxurious. The scalp massage, mini facial, and much-needed hand mask were pure bliss, and the shampoo sample was a thoughtful touch. I felt completely relaxed and cared for the entire time. I’m not one to schedule regular spa treatments, but I’ll definitely be booking again and making this a regular self-care routine—thank you!

It was my first time ever getting a scalp facial, and I’m so glad I tried Sarang Head Spa! Sonia is extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand the composition of my scalp and what would be best for it. The spa itself was beautifully decorated, smelled wonderful and was so peaceful. The treatment was so relaxing and my scalp is now so clean and my hair feels amazing!!! HIGHLY recommend and will be returning.

Had the most amazing experience at Sarang Head Spa. Immediately you are welcomed by Sonia into a beautiful, thoughtfully crafted space. The technology, training, and knowledge she has made me feel confident I was in good hands. I felt relaxed immediately and throughout the service, and Sonia is incredibly kind and gentle! It is so much more than a scalp treatment! It’s an experience. My hair has not felt this soft or clean in a long time. Seeing the immediate results was very cool. Can’t wait to book again! I found this place on facebook and immediately booked an appointment. Sonia is the nicest person, she took time to explain hair care to me and discuss my hair goals. The experience was so relaxing, and she walks you through every step. 10/10 experience I can’t wait to come again!

Connecting with Sonia, who has expertise in hair care, made a significant difference in how i felt about my hair and its texture, especially as a black woman. We talked about the type of hair that I have and she went out of her way to find the right product to enhance my curls, she took the time to ask about which products would work best. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a scalp facial with Sonia. I didn’t know what to expect, but the experience blew me away! Sonia took and showed me a before picture of my scalp and identified my needs. An hour later after a series of treatments and pampering she took and showed me an after picture and I could not only feel the difference, but the see the difference as well. Can’t wait to come back when I’m in town!

First head spa experience and it was magical! Sonia is very knowledgeable and kind with all questions. After relaxing so much I fell asleep, my scalp felt so much lighter from the treatment and my skin feels lifted from the massage! Scalp care is just as important as facial care, especially for anti-aging goals. Overall loved my service in a beautiful spa and recommended everyone try it!

This is my review a few days after visiting Sarang Head Spa. Sonia is not only warm and kind but also incredibly intelligent and passionate. She even traveled to Korea to study at the top head spa academy, demonstrating her dedication to her craft. As someone in my 40s, I’ve struggled with flat roots and a lack of volume, as well as hair that tangles easily after washing and brushing. After my visit to the spa, my roots feel so much healthier and full of volume, and my hair is now smooth and easy to brush after shampooing. What impressed me the most were the amazing products used during the treatment. I wanted to purchase them immediately, but unfortunately, they aren’t available for sale yet. However, Sonia mentioned they’ll be available soon, and I highly recommend purchasing them based on her recommendations once they are! Oh, and the spa itself is so cozy, clean, and beautifully designed – it’s the perfect spot for taking photos, too. Every corner of the space reflects her care and love, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience.

Wow! What an experience. So amazed by Sonia and her craft - she educated me so much about my hair and how to treat it. On top of that, the actual treatment was sooo beyond relaxing and rejuvenating. I loved my experience at Sarang Head Spa! Sonia was so kind and knowledgeable and the scalp facial was incredibly relaxing! The scalp facial left my scalp feeling so clean and refreshed, and I also appreciated all of the other add ons like the face mask, hand mask, heated eye mask, etc! The space itself is also super cute!! I will definitely be returning :)

Sarang Head Spa is wonderful! Sonia is so kind and gave me a very caring and relaxing head spa experience in her beautifully decorated space. She is bringing new products and techniques from her training in Korea, and is very passionate and knowledgeable about treating hair loss especially. I did the 60 minute head spa, which included scalp treatment, shampoo and conditioner, steaming, and a little bit of shoulder massage. I highly recommend for a relaxing experience, and for people looking for more targeted scalp healing and treatments.

Had the most luxurious experience at Sarang Head Spa! I found plenty of street parking nearby and the spa had a beautiful and relaxing ambiance. I was able to see the health of my scalp through a lens prior to the treatment. The scalp massage and water washing was so relaxing, I was falling asleep. All of the products used are curated, healthy, and fragrant. I can’t wait to go back!

I visited Sarang Head Spa this past week and had the most amazing experience. The space is stunning exposed brick walls, intimate, beautiful. Sonia was so kind, attentive and magical at what she does. Being a single mom it’s hard to be able to really relax but Sonia gave me that experience and more. I’ve been seeing head spas in NYC and have been dying to go and can’t articulate my excitement when I saw she was opening in Philly. Don’t walk… run! You won’t regret it. I will absolutely be back…regularly.

Sarang HeadSpa is fabulous! I had the best shampoo, conditioning and facial of my life. Going in I felt stressed out and worried about every day life stuff. Leaving I felt like a puddle of happiness. Super relaxed and happy. I was a new person. I don’t normally pamper myself but this was extremely worth it. I highly recommend for anyone needing a little self care in their life!! Wow! I love this new addition to the neighborhood! I had the basic head spa treatment and it was really relaxing. Not only that, they were able to cater to my thinning hair and hair loss issues. She also used a special tea rinse on my hair and my hair feels so soft even a day later. Really cute and aesthetic space too! Will be back!!
