Today I had an experience that proves there are still good people in this world, and that experience was with Seumas from Saratoga Body Shoppe. I am visiting Colorado Springs for Christmas, and it’s the first time our family has all been together for a holiday in several years. We were in a hurry shopping for groceries, and around 20-30 minutes later I realized I had lost my wallet at the store. I called the store repeatedly as we drove back and could not get an answer. All I could think about was the list of important things inside: passport, vaccine card, debit card, credit card, AirPods, cash. Just as we drove back into the parking lot, I got a call from a car rental company where I had just returned a rental. Seumas had found the receipt inside my wallet and contacted them in hopes of tracking me down. Minutes later we met, and he returned my wallet with all contents accounted for. In today’s world it’s easy to expect the worst, but I’m thankful a good person like Seumas was the one who found my wallet! Knowing who you do business with is very important, so I wanted to be sure to share this here for anyone considering using his services. Thank you for your incredible kindness that saved the day.

This business doesn't seem to be open anymore, and even if they are, I wouldn't recommend trying. After trying for a year to land an appointment with an exceedingly reluctant receptionist (I have seriously never had so much trouble getting a receptionist to agree to give me an appointment), I called in November and set up an appointment for January 26. I had to leave work early to get there on time, only to find that the place was closed and no one was answering phones. After reaching an answering machine and not getting called back all week, I can only assume they've shut down, though of course without notifying anyone that their appointments were cancelled. I went into the office building they're supposed to be located at, and the plaque for their business is still up but upon asking around I found that the business had moved out. This is all really frustrating because my sister got me a gift card for this place that I never got to redeem. So, thanks for stealing money and falling off the face of the planet, guys? Also, Google Maps takes you to a random place that, so far as I can tell, has nothing to do with Saratoga Body Shoppe.

While Seumas and his staff were moving from their office off Woodman Road to their new downtown location I had the chance to experience his massage therapy techniques at my home. As some therapists complete their work quicker and not within the "90 minutes" I purchased, he took the time to get to know me and my situation as a retired/disabled veteran. I had never filled out a form prior to the appointment and after his review I knew he was for real. His massage techniques are the best I have ever experienced and is easy to talk to. After my first massage he reviewed the tensions on my body and worked to ease them and explained what he did. VERY professional and is dedicated to his work. I am about to experience another appointment at his new office downtown and looking forward to it. Thank you for the fantastic experience!
