I got my first curly cut from Margret three weeks ago. I am highly impressed and this is honestly the first haircut that i have embraced and it brought me confidence on a new level. She was kind and understanding, made sure that she understood what i wanted. She framed my face great. And she taught me how to style my hair/bangs. I’m just in love w/ my haircut! I highly recommend Margret, i will be rebooking when i need a touch up. Give her a raise!!

Veronica Ortega is an amazing stylist and knows how to work with coarse Asian hair! Have seen her for years and she is the best and recommend to family and friends if you’re ever in the Greenwood neighborhood. No matter if I am asking for a clean layered cut or color correcting highlights so your grow out is natural she has you covered. She is so knowledgeable and I most appreciate her cut techniques and advice she gives to ensure your hair looks good in between appointments

Sasha Moon Salon is just lovely. I have fine hair, and love how Sasha cuts it, and she always has great recommendations if I ask. I get balayage color and it turns out beautifully. The salon is clean, comfortable and all of the staff is super friendly. I know they do a lot of training for all of the stylists there so I would be happy to see any of them. The parking is easy here too which is a nice convenience although I'd still come here even if it weren't!

Highly recommend Sasha Moon Salon! The Salon itself and all the staff are lovely and so welcoming! I’ve been twice now and had my hair cut by Margaret both times. Margaret is awesome! Super friendly, conversational and such a talented hairstylist! I have curly/wavy hair and Margaret is very knowledgeable on my hair type. Thanks Margaret and Sasha Moon! Oh and you can’t go wrong when they have the cutest salon dog ever. Thanks, Jaxon for the snuggles!

I saw Crystal for a curly cut and balayage. My hair needed volume and some youthful, playful colour. She did both just wonderfully. Highly recommend her- also, the salon is the cutest, and the entire staff lovely and helpful.

If you have kinky curly hair I recommend reading this! This is a great salon and Sasha did a wonderful job in helping me in the end but I think it is important to share my experience for others who have curly hair like mine. I got my hair done in May at this salon and was hoping to turn my outgrown 3c dark brown hair into a warm blonde partial balayage that i previously had done before at a different salon. I showed photos to my stylist of the hair color that I was expecting to get but I instead got a lighter shade of brown. I complained and was informed that my stylist did not know how to handle kinky curly hair and had to ask the owner for advice. The stylist also said that she noticed my hair wasn’t lifting as much as she expected but still told me in person that once my hair dries it would be blonder. My complaint with this is that I understand that curly hair can be hard to handle but the stylist should have brought up to me about her inexperience with my hair-type before touching my hair. Thankfully they offered me another chance to re-do my hair for free which I was really grateful for! I met up with the stores owner (Sasha) for a test session on my hair who was very experienced with the color wheel and she did a strand test and figured out a way to achieve the color I wanted. The next week, I allowed the same stylist (Not Sasha) to try again with my hair. I quickly regretted my decision as I looked in the mirror and saw that my hair was grey and ashy. The stylist asked me if i liked the result and i told her that it was too grey for me. The stylist tried again and this time my hair was grey with splotches of a greenish/blueish color. At that point I was panicking and my mom asked for the owner (Sasha) who helped me with my hair. I eventually got the hair color I wanted after Sasha tried her best to fix my hair. I am ever so grateful towards Sasha but I do think this isn’t the best salon to go too if you have as kinky of curly hair as mine.

There’s no place I would rather go to get my haircut than Sasha Moon Salon— not only is the ambiance of the shop fantastic, but I now have the best haircut in town and the ladies are all over me. All the staff were so kind, and my heart was almost as happy as my hair when I walked out of the door. 100% will be visiting again, thanks Sasha!

warning- their stylist cut my hair so unevenly I needed to go to another salon to fix it. I tried asking the manager for a refund, she informed me that because she'd overheard that I'd hit my head that morning before coming in (she had eavesdropped on me talking about it with my stylist) she was doubting my mental clarity and would not issue a refund. one of the worst experiences I've ever had getting my hair cut.

Not just for curly hair! Chelsee was kind enough to see me the same day to fix a home cut gone wrong. She was able to freshen up my fine, straight hair with a razor and restore my mullet to full glory. Wonderful salon option for the neighborhood that stays very busy but somehow still has availability for hair "emergencies" like mine. They have a full menu of haircut and styling options.

First visit to this salon; warm, inviting ambience with plenty of free parking and staff were friendly including the cute, tiny dog. I was looking for a curly hair stylist and Sasha certainly fits the bill. I went in with a frizzy bush and left with soft, moisturized and defined curls. I was very pleased with my haircut and the hair products. She was out of one of the recommended products, which I later ordered online. Her styling tutorial didn't seem too complicated and hopefully I will be able to replicate the look on my own. It is a bit pricey, but overall, I was satisfied with my experience and plan on returning in the future. Thanks Sasha.

I am very disappointed to have to write this review. I called in and spoke with the receptionist to ask for a bridal curly hair styling appointment. I was clear that I wanted to try a few different hairstyles as I am getting married abroad and would not have an opportunity to test them out. I got booked in with Sasha for this week. Unfortunately, this information was not relayed to Sasha properly. We were only able to try one hair style. While it was a nice hairstyle, it was not quite what I wanted. It was at that point told that there was no more time left and she had another client coming in. I expressed my disappointment with the situation, particularly since my wedding is next month and I left work early to make the one hour drive in rush hour traffic to make the appointment. While I do understand that miscommunications happen, I believe that the salon's owner, Sasha, should have tried to find a working resolution with me. She made no attempt and sent me off on my way, hence this review.

Owner of thick hispanic hair here, and went in for a much overdue hair trim with Chelsee a couple weeks back. I appreciated the ability to get in for a later appt (7pm) as it's a bit more convenient for me and I feel like not many salons will start appointments that late. I came in with a very specific cut in mind that I'd gotten over a year ago, but unfortunately couldn't remember the details when Chelsee asked (my mind wanders when getting my hair done and I don't really pay attention, oops). But when she was done it looked great and I left very pleased--and happy to have several inches off! The next day in the morning light I realized that while my hair was still majorly improved the cut was not *quite* what I had envisioned. So I (sheepishly) called the salon back and asked if there was any way I would have a little extra taken off in the under layers. They were more than happy to accommodate, as was Chelsee. When I got the chance to see her again a few days later I was definitely apologetic for not having accurately described what I had wanted and she took it with grace and complete understanding. This time I was able to articulate the fix and she quickly left me with exactly what I had wanted :) I think it speaks volumes about a stylist who truly wants their customers to be happy with their hair, even when it means a little more work on their end. For that reason I will 100% be recommending Chelsee and Sasha Moon Salon, as well as returning here in the future.

Thank you to Margaret and the salon for taking care of me! I felt comfortable and had a lot of fun getting my hair style done! Also, they sell some really cool local artwork too if you like that. Margaret was friendly, skilled and gave great consultation advice. I look forward to coming back in the future.

I absolutely love love love Sasha Moon Salon. I get my hair colored every few weeks and always leave feeling so happy and complete. Sasha is amazing at the craft of hair and really listens to what you want and desire - she is so skilled that I never have any reservation in sending any of my friends to her. In addition, if she is booked I am always delighted to get service from any of the other stylists - they are lovely, and great at hair! Never leave unhappy!

I have never had a better haircut in my entire life. I have been going to Sasha for a while now and every time I have gone to her and her salons it has been such a positive and heartwarming experience. There is a lot of positivity and comfort provided in her salon. You are also offered water, coffee, tea and much more ! (And free candy!!!) I have also gotten my hair cut by Chelsea and it was nothing but amazing and a great conversation every time. I highly recommend this salon for anyone as there are only trained professionals who know exactly what they are doing and will give you an awesome cut!!

I was looking for a curly hair salon for my husband. He has curly hair and was feeling frustrated and unsure what to do. I found Sasha Moon Salon through a google search and I was blown away by their customer service and skill. The owner responded to my questions and even asked for pics of my husbands hair so she could make a stylist recommendation. We booked with Chelsee and she was so talented and kind. The other stylist who was there (sorry I didn’t get her name!) was also very nice and even complimented the haircut. It was so great to see such a close team! We will definitely be coming back! I highly recommend this salon for curly hair!

I've had several services done by Veronica and have had an excellent experience every time. From cutting my long hair short, to balayage, to styling, it's always been done well and done carefully. She takes time prior to consult on what I want and offers advice if I'm not entirely certain. Veronica is very knowledgeable and has given me good insight on proper hair care. My hair and color have grown out nicely months after.

Megan is amazing! I went in for my first ever curly/ wavy cut and couldn’t believe the results. It felt like she understood everything I was saying, and really took her time explaining why she was doing what she was doing, and how I should take care at home. She even offered touch-ups if something didn’t feel right when I styled at home. If you have a little wave in your hair and want help getting it to its full potential, I cannot recommend this spot enough!!

Sasha did a great job with my hair except for one thing, she charged me 250 USD excluding tip... It was really upsetting as I just didn't know it would be so expensive. I've since gone to other places. They know what they're doing in terms of cuts and customer base and I guess I'm just not rich enough to come here.

We had a great experience with Sasha and Megan for cut and color! The team at this salon seems truly happy to be there and really customer-focused. I was really impressed with how Sasha talked through my style with me and taught me a lot about home care for my wavy hair too. Highly recommend!

I found Sasha through my search for a stylist to work with my curly hair. She really listened to what I wanted and then delivered. The best part was learning more about my curls, products, and the Oidad technique. I will be back!

I went to this salon for a keratin smoothing treatment and saw crystal. She was friendly however I didn't see results as expected. I was told the treatment would help tone down frizz and make my hair smoother but I haven't seen any difference in the texture of my hair. The treatment cost $350 which is a considerable amount to see no results! I wish this wasn't the case cuz we moved to the neighborhood and would've loved to have this as my go to salon with it being so conveniently located. I even tried to call the salon and left a message about the issue to the receptionist to speak to crystal directly to resolve the issue but I didn't get a call back :( Expensive lesson learned, I won't be returning sadly.

Where has Chelsee been all my life??? The salon is beautiful and I felt welcomed as soon as I stepped in. I’ve never known what to do with my frizzy/wavy hair. Chelsee made excellent suggestions and walked me through my personal hair plan and styling techniques. I left with GORGEOUS curls that I didn’t even know I had. I’ve already made my next appointment!

Wow! I can’t put into words how much I love this salon. I’m not exaggerating when I say that Crystal changed my life! My fine hair has always been one of my biggest insecurities. Crystal introduced me to extensions and I have never felt better about my appearance in my entire life. I tried up to 10 stylists here in Seattle before I found Crystal. Almost all of them made me feel even more insecure. Crystal understands the assignment! As an extra bonus she is one of my favorite people on earth to talk to. Sasha and the rest of her team are also all so SO nice! Just go!
