Had a half day spa day and it was amazing! I enjoyed my massage with Ihor and a ca on seaweed wrap with Victoria and ended with a stunning pedicure Michelle! So coming back. If you haven't been it's a must and I recommend the crescendo rain shower!

This is a hidden gem! The building is tucked in downtown and has a secure entrance. The ambiance is warm and cozy. Ihor was a great masseuse, very kind and attentive. The front desk staff is very kind too! Will definitely come back.

Went in last week with my husband for a full spa day for our anniversary. Everyone that worked there was amazing (shoutout to the receptionist especially, she went above and beyond - and I feel terrible not remembering her name), and we left in a state of relaxed bliss.

I recently visited sasse wellness for a couples massage, and unfortunately, I left feeling quite dissatisfied. Our massage started late and ended early (scheduled 50 mins, actual: 40 mins) and the techniques used were mediocre and inconsistent. Besides lacking proper technique and being distracted, the experience also felt very rushed. At one point, I wanted to get up and leave because I felt this was intentional. For example my LMT massaged one side of my body and foot while completely ignoring the other side. Some specific examples include: slightly brushing my back with her hands and then just “rocking” my back for an awkwardly long time..putting a wet towel on my back for the duration of the massage, using cold stones, etc. I’ve had my share of massages and this was not what I expected for a typical “relaxation/swedish”massage. Overall the service provided did not meet the expectations I had, and what was even more disappointing was the lack of action taken by management to address my concerns. They assured me they are committed to delivering a positive experience however I felt there was no meaningful solutions offered or even a genuine attempt to resolve the matter. This lack of attention to customer feedback was incredibly frustrating and made the entire experience feel even more disappointing. I also had itchy red spots from after the massage. I didn’t notice until later in the evening at home when I woke up. I’m worried that it might be bed bug bites. I won’t be returning, and I would caution others to be aware of the possibility of a similar experience. Regretfully, this was not the experience I was hoping for, and I believe improvements in both service and customer care are needed. **Edit** I went to see my PCP and confirmed that these are bed bug bites. I’m going to report this to Oregon Health Authority and EPA. Please be careful of booking here.

Michelle did an AMAZING, relaxing, lovely job on my facial. I needed that so bad! She did great massage on my hands and feet in addition to face and neck, and used hot towels too. She told me what she was using as she used each new product, but didn't pressure to buy anything, which I really appreciate. I'll be back for sure!!

My partner and I celebrated our 7-year anniversary at the spa with their Couples Crescendo treatment, and it was exactly what we needed. We went for the same treatment on our 5-year anniversary, and coming back was just as amazing as we remembered. This time, we extended the massage to 110 minutes, and those extra minutes made a huge difference – we spent a solid 2.5 hours just melting into relaxation. The treatment started with the massage, which was so good that I think I forgot about all my worries for a while. After that, they used warm oil and salts that left our skin feeling so soft. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, there was this incredible Vichy shower (think gentle rain meets high-pressure shower – heavenly) and a scalp massage that wrapped things up perfectly. My partner had Sara, and I was with Ilhor; they were both wonderful, and we felt like we were in good hands the whole time. By the end, we felt like happy noodles – relaxed, refreshed, and ready to tackle whatever’s next. If you’re looking for a treat, especially for a special occasion, I can’t recommend it enough.

What a wonderful experience ! A beautiful atmosphere and really sweet staff. Michelle gives a really nice massage and Mylie was soft and kind while she did the pedicure piece . It was not cheap, but worth it. Also, you forget you are in downtown Portland , the experience transforms you to relaxation !

I was in Portland for the weekend, staying downtown, and decided to treat myself to a deep tissue massage. I chose Sassé because of its great reviews and its proximity to my hotel. I had originally booked with a female masseuse, but when I arrived, I was asked if I would be comfortable with a male instead. I'm so glad I said yes because Ihor was amazing! It was one of the best massages I've had in a long time. He found all of my problem areas and really worked through my knots. He's also incredibly knowledgeable about the body, how muscles work, and pinpointing trigger areas. Next time I'm in Portland, I will definitely be booking with Ihor at Sassé.

This was my second experience with Sassy Wellness and it was just as pleasant this time as it was my first. The ladies acknowledge you immediately when you enter, they are upbeat and friendly offering you tea or coffee, and in my experiences have always been runing on time which is really nice. The location is in a high traffic area but so is everywhere else in Portland. Also, I didn't really appreciate having to pay for parking however I understand that's what happens in big cities and don't hold it against the wellness center at all. Other than their package deals in competitive price, I really appreciate the fact the ladies don't pressure you to get services that you didn't go there for or make you feel like you need more than you're getting. I understand if you ask about what offer they may offer specific services tailored to meet your needs which is what I did ($8200 later). :-0 and I really appreciate not being pressured. So far so good so, based on my experiences, I would definitely recommend this wellness center to others .

We had a couples massage with Gina and Victoria, and it was incredible. We would typically book at the Ritz while traveling, but wanted to try something local. These technicians were professional, responsive to pressure requests and were gifted therapists. We’d highly recommend!
