My new go-to barbershop. Unreal. Sarah KNOWS her stuff. She's the real deal. Love my haircut — she gave me considerable knowledge on how to best deal with my curls going forward. She's attentive, patient, stylish, the best -- highly recommend !!!!!!

I just finally got a haircut at SAY Studio after seeing the owner Sarah build the place out starting in June, and then opening their doors in August and have been meaning to give them a try since then. I had a great experience there aside from just getting a great haircut, as it’s a very charming and pleasant atmosphere both outdoors & inside which I feel really enhances our neighborhood in a positive way, and it has been years since I had someone give me a haircut 95% with scissors and not exclusively with clippers. That’s a true art form & craft, and definitely makes that difference in a better looking haircut. Sarah asked me what I liked and didn’t like and she immediately understood but also put in her expertise to achieve it, and so for all the above reasons I would recommend SAY to anyone especially if you are a supporter of local small businesses who truly put their all into what they do.

I’m lucky to be able to travel for work to our offices in Brooklyn each month and allows me to have Sarah keep my hair trimmed and styled. I will not go anywhere else. My hair is curly but thinning on top and she manages it with ease. And she’s so great about working with my crazy schedule. Recommend to anyone.

Sarah is an absolute master with both men and women’s hair! I have very fine hair and she knows exactly how to cut it so it looks voluminous and full. I’ve never found anyone that can make my hair look as good as she does each and every time I see her. I leave her salon absolutely glowing! She’s also cut my boyfriend’s hair several times and it’s always perfect. She spends time with each of her clients to understand exactly what they are looking for and really tailors to each specific persons needs, so do yourself a favor and see her immediately! You won’t regret it.

As a guy with longer hair it can be difficult to find a solid stylist. Sarah took her time and helped me understand exactly how I wanted my hair cut. Her attention to detail went way above and beyond my expectations. I don't usually write reviews but this was easily the best haircut I've ever had.

Had a wonderful experience with Sarah at SAY Studios. Sarah took the time to truly listen to the haircut I wanted and also provided some of her own excellent suggestions which worked out wonderfully. She was also very kind in recommending hair products that would best suit my style of hair. Overall I had a tremendous experience here and will be back. I feel like a new man.

I am beyond happy that I found this place. I had just moved to the neighborhood and randomly decided to come here for a haircut. I have always felt unsatisfied with my hair, until I met Sara! Immediately she told me that she would be my hair partner and we talked for a long time about goals, issues, products etc. I felt really heard and validated by Sara. She is incredibly knowledgable about hair and gave solid advice. I'm finally excited about my hair and to have found my hair partner :] Truly can't say enough good things about Sara!

I came to Sarah to try out a new place in the neighborhood and I was incredibly happy! What can I say about Sarah that hasn't already been said? She's so much more than a stylist. I've never felt like someone was so knowledgeable, paid so much attention to, and genuinely cared about my hair. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else after my first visit. When my girlfriend saw me after my first cut her reaction of "WOW!! You look GOOD!!" cracked me up because Sarah told me to expect that. We both come here for our haircare now.
