I called Sayida African Hair Braiding for an appointment due to a crazy work schedule. She was able to get me in the same evening. The braids are gorgeous. They match the atmosphere of the business. She is such a delight. Every experience has been absolutely wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend Sayida's!!

I love getting my braids done with Sayida. I have been getting my hair done at her salon for 6 years now & I am always satisfied with the outcome. Sayida is so nice and accommodating. Price is reasonable, and the service is outstanding. Highly recommend! 10/10

Very caring about your hair Clean , neat establishment Very professional I came for knotless braids , got here at 7 and its just been great energy The shop is also transgender friendly Lgbtqia friendly I would definitely recommend supporting and getting your braids done here !I WILL BE BACK AND THE PRICES ARE AFFORDABLE

Very clean and their hospitality is out of this world!!! I got box braids for a pretty decent price and I love my hair. I was a little hesitant about this salon due to the reviews I was reading before I got here but when I tell you it’s nothing like I saw online…BELIEVE ME!!! Sayida and her sister treated my hair with so much care, they taught me about different cultures, they even were trying to help me look for jobs because I’m new to Greensboro. I feel like more women should go to sayida salon. Not only is it a great salon with talented braiders. There’s sisterhood…and that’s rare

I can not say enough positive things about Sayida, her location and the vibe at her private salon. First let me say that I am in from Los Angeles by way of Dubai. My father passed away just yesterday and I wanted my hair braided up so I did not need to worry about it for the next week during making arraignments. I found Sayida on GOOGLE and figured since she was close what the heck lemme just run over there. Without knowing what I was going through - the whole experience was transformative. She was SUPER FAST. Got exactly what I wanted from a picture. I feel better and blessed from being in her chair. Thank you Sayida. PS - reasonably priced.

I have been going to Sayida for a couple of years now and she is one of the greatest braiders in Greensboro! The Small knotless is my favorite style and she does such a great job. Her prices are reasonable and she makes the environment comfortable. Very sweet lady.

Save your money, your scalp and your hair. I have been wearing braids for over 25 years and this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. The damage to my hair and scalp is shocking. Sayida is very nice and her shop is clean and comfortable. I went for lemonade braids and didn’t get the style I asked for. Worse, I had expressed experiencing severe pain at the crown of my head midway through the process. Sayida “checked” the braids by wiggling them and ensured me they weren’t too tight even though I was visibly in pain. She offered me ibuprofen but not to take out the braids. A few days after the style was installed I texted her to shared concerns that I noticed some bleeding. She invited me to come back so she could reinstall braids (while my scalp was bleeding). I opted not to go. I took my hair out after having it installed for 11 days and the pics show the damage. I reached out to Sayida to show her the damage her work caused to my hair and scalp. After turning down another invitation to have her rebraid my hair (cause why would I let you touch me again)… I told her I’d like a refund of some sort for damages. She refused to offer any compensation for damages. I will never go back there!

Sayida hair braiding is such a professional place, each appointment I’ve had is always a positive experience. Everyone in the shop are always warm and welcoming I’ve never had a bad style done by anyone there! (Also she is home based but has a full salon build inside you wouldn’t be able to tell it was her home very professional environment)

Sayida is very great at what she does. She’s very gentle, respectful, and knows what she is doing. Her braiding shop is very clean, peaceful, and her braiding staff are respectful. I’ve heard many complaints about my hair being too long, but she never complains, she instead embraces my hair. Her and her staff are fast braiders and will try to get you out as soon as possible.

The first interaction was EVERYTHING!! her energy was beautiful and she did me and my friends hair by herself and was done in a very timely manner . 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
