Due to things beyond my control, my old stylist went back to school and stopped doing hair. I searched for a while and finally found one. The stylist I booked with ran 50 mins late. appt was originally at 10, got moved to 10:30, stylist showed at 10:50. showed her inspo pics and the only thing she basically did was thin my hair. I thought she understood what I asked for and it seemed like things were going good but my hair looks exactly the same. Small talk was okay and maybe I'm just not caught up on the lingo, but she just wasn't my cup of tea. $75 down the drain. If it had been cheaper maybe it would be justified that my hair looks the same but that was $75 of my money that I will never get back. I miss my old stylist. Editing my review to update that I finally got around to washing and styling my hair myself and it is a frizzy, crooked mess! The stylist I went with thought using thinning shears on my CURLY hair would be a good idea. Now I'm left with a mess to clean.

I haven't had change of look on my hair for years. I decided to come here and try something new. I was excited yet nervous but Sirene created a comfortable and relaxed environment. She's a great listener, amazing personality and able to make you feel comfortable. She guided me through her steps, how it'll look, and gave me suggestions about taking care of my hair. I got a Lived-In color/Partial Balayage and she did an outstanding job! I extremely appreciate her for taking the moment in taking me in and able to love my hair. Recommend her to anyone!

Be aware of the owner and her insensitivity towards religion, she claims to be a Muslim yet mocks the hijab and what it stands for. Going as far as calling it a “ Ninja costume”. If you decide to address this issue with her, she has her husband try to intimidate you and threaten you with physical violence. (No one is scared of a dude named Gilberto).

I was recommended Scarlet about two years and I have not let anyone else touch my hair ever since. She is extremely talented and takes very good care of her clients. She’s brought my hair back from life since the last person fried my hair. I appreciate her knowledge and her creativity when dealing with my hair. The atmosphere of her Salon is so friendly and welcoming I truly love it here. Her professionalism and her attention to deal makes it worth every penny! 100% recommendation her.

I've been coming to scar for 9 years! There's no one else that I trust my hair with but her! She's always so professional, caring, and does amazing results! I have been going with Sirene for over a year! I am so picky with my curly hair she is the only one one that can cut and even colored my hair for the first time in years!!!! Love this new Salon she is at very cozy and quaint!

Okay so first of all, I’m telling y’all right now: you NEED to book with Marina here. Her work is incredible. From the moment she touches my hair, I forget I have $70,000 in student loan debt. When I hear the snips coming from her hair scissors, the fact that my tire blew out last week doesn’t matter. Because as she’s doing the Brazilian blowout, I feel appreciated, cared for, and know I’m ready for hot girl summer. Stop holding yourself back and BOOK here with Marina. i have never had such a positive experience at a salon! Karla was excellent !! She talked me through what she was going to do and always let me know what she was doing next, she made me feel so comfortable and gave me the exact results I wanted! I will definitely be back!

I highly do not recommend Nadia at this salon. We had small talk in the beginning and she offered me some water, when she brought it to me the cup was completely dusty on the rim. I didn’t want to send her back so I just put the water down and didn’t drink it. I asked for a three inch trim and I told her I wanted a soft oval/v trim. I made it clear to her I did not want my hair cut straight. As you can see in the photo, not only did she cut my hair straight but she also cut it sloppy, there are strands of my hair that are not even. Lastly, while she was styling my hair, I felt a tangled she seemed to avoid going through. I wasn’t sure so I let her continue to style. However, when I got home to brush my hair out the tangle was still there. I was so upset that she avoided detangling my hair and chose curl over it with an iron. Having a hair stylist is personal because we are putting our trust into someone styling our hair, especially when we are giving someone a try we have never worked with before. I am shocked she has five years experience and this is what she delivered to me. This trim was not worth my $50. Now I need to go to another stylist and fix the flaws she gave me. Another spend I didn’t need if it was done right the first time.

I went in October 2019 to get a hybrid brow with El Paso Microblading (Nikki). First she ran late that day, second they double booked that day and put us in a different room. Instead of rescheduling the service provider Nikki continued with my service. I never thought it would effect the results of my eyebrows. She really messed up my eyebrows!! I now have to look at them every day and it's not like she can just fix them. I HATE them!! Honestly been patiently waiting for them to fade and they just haven't. I also did let her know how I felt and been waiting for her to take a certification to "remove them", still waiting. I am considering to do laser removal treatment on it.

Yesterday was my first time walking into this beautifully decorated Salon. I was greeted and offered a drink. I wish the rest of my experience went as expected....I do not recommend Krystal from Meraki Spa. She is friendly but the work she did was not satisfactory. She was 20 min late for the appointment (lash lift). She left glue residue all over my actual eyelid. Also as someone who has worked in the beauty industry, I know it is important to mention any monthly specials. She didn’t mention her December special for lash lift and instead charged me full price. I saw once I left that she was running the special. I did send her a message asking her how to remove the glue from my skin. She responded quickly saying to use water. However, the care printout she handed me states to avoid water for 24hrs. Total bummer would have loved to have made this my go to salon. Will be taking my business else where.
