Scott cut my hair for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it’s the best hair cut I have ever had. Every time I look in the mirror, I am so pleased. He has curly hair and is seriously knowledgeable about curly hair. I bought his Cultivate Your Curls MAP method tutorial and it is essential as well. I have gone from frizzy to curly. Scott is amazing and completely down to earth.

Scott is insanely talented. If you have curly or wavy hair within a 2 hour drive, do it! My mom drives 2.5 hours to him. Now all my curly hair coworkers use him too. I don’t know what I’ll do when he retires in a few decades.

Have curls go to Scott! He’s got a simple no frills studio with simple affordable products. You go for a cut when you want one. He’s a curly hair magician and the sky is the limit. I never had short hair because I never trusted people to cut them short and the stylists never trusted themselves either. Scott gave me an amazing cut! I love it. And it helps that the products he recommends don’t cost an arm and a leg but very affordable and clean products!

If you have waves or curls, you NEED to go to Scott! He's so knowledgeable and knows exactly how to work with your natural curl. My hair has never looked better after taking his curl course and getting my hair cut with him. It's more curly than before and I can get a few days of wearing my hair down with a natural curl which was impossible before. He was super great to talk to as well! Look forward to seeing you again :)

My hair has never been better! I moved to NC a few years ago from TN and struggled for a year until I found Scott Musgrave...all of you with curly hair can relate. If you strive for your curly hair to be healthy and cut correctly, I strongly reccomend Scott. You will not be dissappointed.

He Always listens to what you want and customizes the haircut accordingly. He will also give his honest opinion on products which always saves money and great for New curlies. He’s great at what he does. I’ve been going to Scott for 5 years now.

I am fortunate to live in the same town as Scott Musgrave and have been following his MAPS method for several months. I went to his salon to get a trim and he really took the time to listen. He didn't just start cutting my hair, he asked about my concerns regarding my hair, answered all of my questions and provided a lot of guidance. If you're in the area (or not!) I highly recommend going to see Scott if you have curly hair and you want someone who really understands how to care for it.

Scott was incredible. He really took the time to walk through how to still my hair, had me going through the steps so that when I left my hair would look as good as it did after my session with him. He truly helped me to better understand my wavy/curly hair and to learn great technique to style and play with it. He is also a really nice guy overall and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone with wavy/curly hair to see him.

Scott is a brilliant artist. He listens to your wants and needs, and educates you on how to achieve that. You can tell he eat breathes and sleeps curly hair. I absolutely love the products he uses as well. I was shocked by the 1 star review that was left. Don't let that absurd review deter you from making an appointment. You will love the results!

Scott is an incredible artist! I was so frustrated with my hair and Scott gave it new life. Here's what happens when you walk into his salon -- he listens! He wants to know about you and your hair. He made me feel great from the moment I walked in. He cut it curl by curl, turning it this way and that, from side to side, even upside down, to make sure it was right from top to bottom and all over. I have *never* had a stylist take that kind of care with this thick mop. Then he cleansed it, making sure I got my hands into it so I could tell exactly what it should feel like. Finally, he taught me how to handle it and apply products, talking me through doing it myself and making sure it was all written down for me. I left completely confident that I could make it look this good at home. And WOW! I had no idea my hair was this curly!!! It looks AMAZING. Gorgeous! And it's not stiff or sticky or anything. I had to run some errands on the way home and I was really bummed because it was windy. I was afraid it would be a mess again before my husband even got to see it. I got back in the car and anxiously peered in the mirror. It was a little tousled, but it wasn't a bit frizzy -- it was adorable! Whew. My family was amazed when I got home. I know it seems expensive, but Scott is SO worth it. Just go. Go now! He's not one of these guys that does something you can never repeat at home so you have to keep coming back all the time. He makes it so you can handle your hair on your own, just returning a couple of times a year. With my life as an author and speaker traveling all over the place, that's critical. Best of all is that Scott is a super-nice guy. He was fun to talk to and really seemed to enjoy working with my hair -- you know how rare an experience that is for a curly girl at any salon! Scott Musgrave is the best at curly cuts and you will be so glad you put yourself in his hands!

Scott is kind, patient, genuine, intelligent and helpful. I have struggled with my curly hair for my entire life. It had gotten to the point where it was just a burden and I was wearing it up every single day. I absolutely hated my hair, I felt as if I always looked ‘unkempt’ and I often ended up in tears when trying to style and tame my hair. When I saw Scott, he reassured me that my hair would look entirely different by the end of the appointment and I have to say, I didn’t believe him. But after a two hour session, my hair was BEAUTIFUL! My hair didn’t even look like my hair anymore. It was so soft, the curls were so defined and there was little to no frizz. I’m telling you, Scott is a miracle worker. I had a few questions about products after my appointment so I texted him and he was more than willing to answer my questions. Scott’s passion for helping women embrace their curly hair and teaching them how to care for/style it shows in every aspect of his business. The personalized method he taught me has given ‘new life’ to my hair and given me a confidence I’ve never had before. What’s even better - I’ve made a new friend! Looking forward to watching Scott’s journey as he changes curly headed lives across the world!

Zero stars and two thumbs down. Never replied to my texts with photos of my hair after replying to my comment on social media saying that was accepting new clients. He clearly has plenty of time to do so according to his Instagram feed. He must not need business very badly. I give one star because his videos and website basically tell you what you need to know, what products to buy and how to apply them. Was looking forward to trying the cubist cut. Oh well, I will find another devacurl stylist!

Always does an awesome job. My fine hair finally has body because he cuts each curl. A little expensive but soooo worth it.
