Regardless, Selena knows exactly what you want and knows how to guide the experience from consultation, application, installation, and the cut and colour. I can’t say enough about how Amazing Selena is!

Selena really listened to my concerns regarding my extensions. Previously I had 6 wefts in a single row. I always thought that was not well distributed for my fine hair. She took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel extremely comfortable moving forward with switching to two rows instead of one. She also (finally) got me to the cool (mushroom) tone I have been wanting for years for my blonde pieces and my brunette body. She is amazing!

Went and got an amazing cut from Shane. Got a shampoo, cut, and styling. My boyfriend can't keep his hands off me! Hahaha! Worth.

I met Lauren 2 weeks ago for my first haircut and she was tipped well smiled and said she would see me at the next appointment. Yesterday I went in and they were running late . I warned the staff that I cannot tolerate late appointments and they need to call me if they were late . Well Lauren didn't like that . She gave me a bad haircut and then did something that is prominent in our social structure , but is very troubling . Lauren took a 15$ tip , looked in eye , smiled and then when I left she cancelled all my appointments that were made in advance for 6 months . This moral turpitude and very troubling to see in another human . The. Ustiner service and social skills of the management are very troubling . Steer clear . They wouldn't let me come in and get a refund and the check is in the mail . This is terrible customer service and socially retarded

I’ve read other reviews which prompted me to leave one. What I mostly notice is that like myself, people don’t overly go out of their way to post positive reviews. Many reviews are done when a customer or client is unhappy or angry about a situation. In defense of Gossamer Salon, I will tell you that the “ginger” as she has been referred to has been doing my hair for about 12 years and I was happy for her and stayed a client when she went on to open her own shop. She is highly skilled in technique, color and instruction. As far as time management issues; all it takes is one client to be late and the entire day of the Salon will be off. People in general are disrespectful to the time of others and then as the snowball effect happens places the blame incorrectly. Regarding Lauren; I have known her for a couple of years now and have never seen her be unpleasant or disrespectful to anyone. When I’m preparing for weekend jaunts I make wash/blowout appointments with Lauren and the style gets me though the weekend without needing to worry about my hair. This is a good group in a tough business and I give these women credit building their futures. I will remain a loyal client.

The owner Selena has been doing my hair for about 14 years and she is phenomenal!! She is extremely skilled with cut and color and as an instructor is always knowledgeable about the latest techniques. She is also an incredible stylist. She has styled my hair for numerous events including my wedding which was perfection!!! I have also had the chance to work with Lauren quite a few times (including doing the bridesmaids hair for my wedding) and Lauren is also wonderful!! Both Lauren and Selena have also cut my husband's hair which is very thick and requires quite a bit of skill and styling. They both did a great job! I love this salon and this team! There is a reason Selena has had my, and my family's loyalty (mom, grandma and sister see her too) for so many years.

The staff has poor customer service and time management skills. The hairdresser was late for for my boyfriend's schedule appointment and he had to wait. He should have been called and told the hairdresser was running behind. That would make any customers upset. Also a hairdresser should not be afraid of cutting their hands while cutting someone hair, that can make any customer very uncomfortable. Customer should be able to state if they were not satisfied with the haircut and with any part of the Salon express with out being kicked out. Staff and management are very rude and don't care about the customer experience

I'll start by saying that I only came in for R + Co products, so I was here for no more than 5 minutes. I called ahead to make sure they had the products I was looking for in stock and the girl was super nice and even set them up front, so they were ready to go when I arrived. When I entered the salon it smelled very foul, I would have been pretty uneasy if I had to sit through that while getting my hair done. As I was leaving one of the ginger girls was with a client and complimented my hair color, I of course said thank you and then threw in a "it's totally fake!" to which she responded "... well... yeah". I suppose I could have left off the ending to mine, but my hair really does look pretty natural and I've heard nothing other than that. Either way I felt it was a rude enough encounter to pop online and point this out. I only go to R + Co salons and this is one I just won't take my business to, not even for product!
