Adrienne has been cutting my hair for over five years, and I am always happy! I have a ton of hair and waves and her layers always look so natural and lived in. She is a wizard with a razor, and so lovely and creative! I drive to Sacramento from Sonoma county because I don’t trust anyone else.

My favorite haircut to date! Went to sculpture garden for the first time and RJ gave me a French bob. I have been struggling with really disliking my hair for the last 6 months or so, and this cut resolved everything! He was easy to talk to, professional, and gave me fool proof tips on how to style my hair (which I am notoriously bad at). Can’t say enough good things. Thanks RJ, see you soon!

Adrienne gave me the most amazing haircut last fall- it’s grown out beautifully. I’m a low maintenance hair gal and really needed something that was gonna look good through months of grow out. She gave me the most perfect soft fringe around my face and the prettiest layers without thinning my hair out at the ends (which is a miracle!) I’ll be coming in at my 6 month mark for the same exact cut :)

Adrienne is the queen of shags and low maintenance hair styles. I’ve been going to her for about 4 years now, and every time she cuts my hair I have the best grow out. I only need to go in for a cut about once every 6 months, and could probably push it even more if I wanted. She’s an absolute delight and a total hair wizard. After a shower, I shape my bangs, air dry my hair and it looks like I put in effort. Magic, I tell you.✨

Hiding in the midst of a bustling downtown space is the Sculpture Garden. Opening their gates into a wide open space full of creativity & hospitality is an incredible treat. This space offers clients a moment to pause & enjoy some real self care (can I get an amen for the lil drink fridge?!). I followed Adrienne to this location, which happens to be very close to work - perks! Adrienne is really a master of her craft. She takes the time to listen & is great about hearing any criticism, she genuinely wants to do what you want as long as it’s within her range (which is vast). After 14 yrs with my precious hairdresser, I am thrilled to have her cut my hair & have learned a lot about my hair goals through her work. 10/10 would recommend!

I am very glad to have found RJ! After seeing some friends and acquaintances of mine with the most woooonderful haircuts I ever did see…. Naturally I had to ask about who they were seeing! Thats when I came across RJ! He is very attentive to your requests and making your hair dreams come true. I got my hair cut by Adrienne several years ago. I immediately felt my confidence return to me as soon as I left the salon. Hair is such a huge part of our identity, and I have never felt so seen and heard by a stylist since developing a relationship with Adrienne. I have followed Adrienne to the Sculpture Garden from her previous salon, and like the last location, the team of stylists at the Sculpture Garden are incredibly kind, inclusive, professional, and attentive to each and everyone’s needs. It is a judgement-free zone where the artists really do take pride in every second of their work. Each cut I’ve gotten has grown out beautifully, and I return for cuts and trims that continue to enhance the shape of my hair with every visit. It is a gift to have such talent so close to me in our little Sacramento sanctuary. I have recommended Adrienne to many friends with varying hair types, from thin to thick, straight to curly. She is an absolute wizard with a pair of scissors, and if you have the ability to gift yourself with a cut by her, you absolutely should. You will not regret it.

Literally *everyone* I know whose hair I love has the same stylist: Adrienne Baranoff. When I decided to give her a try, I knew I’d never turn back. My hair is curly & thick & very frizzy & while I wish I could pull off the artsy, cool cuts Adrienne is so adept at giving, I tend to keep things simpler; however, Adrienne nails it every time. She took the time to get to know my hair, & when she says her cuts are meant to last, she means it! I only need to see her a few times a year (I got my hair cut two weeks ago & before that it had been since July 2023 & my hair grew out super well). She knows how to cut dead weight from curly hair, how to layer it so it thrives & how to make it feel fresh & happy. Besides that, Adrienne is creative & inspiring. She is warm & positive — I’ve never felt the gossipy, judgy salon vibe in any of the spaces she’s in, or from her. She is always punctual, always kind, & a true master of her craft, plus she is just cool as hell! One of the people who makes Sacramento special. I’ve referred everyone I know to her & will continue to do so.

Love this location, it’s always clean and welcoming plus the drinks in the front fridge are top tier. Adrienne has been cutting my curly hair for a few years now and I finally feel content with my hair after seeing her. I’ve never been able to get the right cuts for my texture before, or experiment with bangs like I wanted to. She’s cut shags for me, mullets, pixie shag mullet mash ups, you name it. She’s a great listener and teacher, as she recently started offering trim your own bangs lessons.

This salon has the coolest vibes. Adrienne has cut my hair several times and is in tune with what I ask for, checks in throughout the process and makes sure you leave happy. I’ve gotten serveral different cuts done by her and have loved them all: Can’t say enough good things. I’m not even a cool, shaggy, razor and mullet gal, but she caters your cut to what you ask for. 10/10 would recommend.

I found RJ after a friend of mine recommended a salon. I had booked with the first person who could take me, but little did I know that I was about to meet my haircut specialist for life. I instantly felt such a great connection like I had known him my whole life. I loved my first haircut with him so much that when he switched salons I followed him, and then again when he opened Sculpture Garden. No one has ever been able to bring out my natural hair texture like RJ, and it looks good allll the time. I’m pretty low maintenance so I love that I can just roll out of bed, give it a quick brush and my hair still looks great! Long gone are the days where you leave the salon looking good and can’t make it work the next day. I’m sure the rest of his crew is just as good too. Update 4/24: Got my haircut today by RJ. I hadn’t been in for a long while but it was still a great experience and RJ is genuinely one of the kindest human beings there ever lived.

I only started seeing RJ this year but I won't be going to anyone else from now on! I followed RJ for a few months before booking an appointment and it was well worth it. The vibes of the salon are immaculate and RJ is such a pleasure to be around. You can tell he truly cares about his craft and wants to help each of his clients with whatever they need. I went to Adrienne for a shag razor cut, she was AMAZING! She cut my hair for a while, and then I wanted color. Adrienne’s honesty was like no other, she told me “I do not do that, but I will refer you to someone” and she did. This was the first time I felt like my hairstylist was so honest. Now, she cuts my 5 yr olds hair, at my tiny humans request. Adrienne is amazing at her job, and her soul is so kind.

I’ve gone to Adrienne for the past 5+ years and I can’t recommend her enough. I have wavy/curly hair and she knows how to cut my hair so that I can wear it naturally everyday. I get compliments on my haircut often, sometimes even months after my appointment because her work lasts. I also met one of my good friends because we are both her clients! I love her values too and she creates a shame free environment.

They know that break ups can be devastating… and even though I had just met that man the night before, I still wanted to cut him out of my hair. RJ is THE GREATEST STYLIST, as well as an outstanding human being and an amazing business owner! The salon vibe is as beautiful and kind as him and everyone who works there! I used to HATE getting my hair cut, I would be so tense and never know how to ask for what I want and I’d end up leaving in tears… but never with RJ, he is so gentle and INCREDIBLY KNOWLEDGABLE about all kinds of hair, and most importantly, he pays attention to how it makes us FEEL. Sculpture Garden is an amazing salon! Not only is it aesthetically beautiful, but it’s curated with plants, beautiful art and is just a vibeeeee! RJ is the best I’ve been seeing him since 2023 and he has changed my relationship with my hair! I have thick textured hair and he has made my shag/pixie/mullet dreams come to life! This review is for Adrienne, but June Ray also does gorgeous work with hair. I've been getting my hair cut by Adrienne for over 4 years now and she is the best woman with a blade and hair I've ever seen. When I walk in she looks legitimately happy to see me which always warms my heart. We have a brief convo about my hair grow out, wants/expectations from my cut, and any hair concerns. Then she gets to work. From wash and shampoo and cut to blow dry. It's relaxing and reassuring knowing that I am being treated with the utmost care and consideration. She uses hair products that she uses and has tested herself. She is also full of hair care knowledge as well as an amazing human being. Bottom line...Adrienne is a 10.

If you are unhappy with your haircut, and let Adrienne know, she will rise to the occasion and do anything in her power to correct an issue. If you don’t reach out to her and leave a very tardy review of her skills and don’t allow her an opportunity to fix any potential mistakes or anything you aren’t happy with, that’s your decision and not a reflection of Adrienne’s skill set or professionalism.
