I have been working with Des for about a year now and I am so glad I found her! I’m 42, and was feeling that the natural aging process was effecting my self love. Injections have given me a sense of empowerment in managing my skin as it ages. I can’t recommend Des enough… She is the kindest most thoughtful person. I love that I am working with the same person every time, and that she takes the time to get to know me, my skin and how I respond to the injections. She’s educational and patient and really wants to see me thrive. She has a great discount program and doesn’t charge for extra unused units. She checks in on me regularly and makes me feel cared for.

I had one of the best experiences here at seattle Beauty Aesthetics. Immediately upon arrival, I was greeted by the most warm an enthusiastic person; I’m not kidding when I say Dr. Des has such an amazing energy about her. Not to mention, she was so kind to walk me through the lip flip procedure and answer any questions I had. From start to finish it was smooth and professional. I couldn’t be more happier with the results and will definitely be back!

Seattle Beauty is an excellent skin care spa. My specific interest was in firming up the skin on my face/neck, softening lines and wrinkles and evening out the texture and tone. Whatever your age, maybe you are thinking you would like to freshen up your look. Maybe turn back the clock a little bit? I am 69 years old and decided to treat myself to some serious skin care. I made an online appointment for a consultation with Dr. Desiree Wood. The website is user friendly, informative and easy to navigate. Seattle Beauty is easy to find, and miracle of miracles convenient parking is readily available. The office is welcoming; not intimidating. Before the consultation I had done some research and was tentatively thinking about Morpheus8 treatments. The consultation with Dr. Des explored what the various skin treatments do, what they target; and expected results. We had a friendly open discussion. No oversell and no pressure. Dr. D. also introduced me to a line of excellent skin care products. Revision products are not only easy to use, but the products are also cruelty-free; no animal testing. Believe me, cruelty-free, effective skin care is not easy to find. We decided Morpheus8 would be the best fit for what I wanted to achieve. Dr. Des reached out to me after the consultation and before treatment asking if I had any questions. She prepared me for what to expect during and after the treatment. One week later and I’ve had my first treatment. With liberally applied topical numbing cream, the Morpheus8 treatment does have its “uncomfortable” moments. Pre-procedure Dr. D was very up front about the potential discomfort. During the procedure she was very dialed in as to how I was feeling. She frequently asked how I was doing and whether I needed to “take a break”. I’m not sure what I expected to look like immediately post procedure, scary came to mind, but I looked relatively normal; some redness, and just a tiny bit of puffiness. Day 1 Post Procedure: Again Dr., D prepared me for what to expect. A little bit of redness; 1 small bruise and a few tiny scabs. Nothing to keep me hiding indoors. With lots of sunblock I plan to go out and do my usual activities. Truly an exceptional experience. I am very much looking forward to the next two treatments and the final results.

Received my toxin treatment from Dr. Des about 2 weeks ago and in loving my results. From the moment we started on treatment day, she made me feel comfortable by her soothing voice explaining my toxin procedure in a way that was clear and thoughtful. What really stood out to me was how beautifully she relayed potential risks and how calm that made me feel. I never felt rushed, and she made me feel truly heard, which rare these days! On top of that, my results turned out better than I could have imagined. Subtle lift, frozen 11s with good movement, and not able to frown. Dr. Des is truly skilled at what she does, and I’m so grateful for her expertise and care. Desi is the best! She is very well educated when it comes to cosmetic procedures and has a great understanding of client wants and needs. She has a nursing background, so you know that she is using safe, hygienic products and processes. I get Botox and my lips done, my lips are full, but natural, everyone assumes o was just lucky and north with full lips and good skin, a testament to her work. Go see Desi!

Des is an artist and miracle worker. Our consultation, first of all, was very informative as she gave me several options to deal with my concerns. She never pushed any agenda, but presented pros and cons for all treatment options available. She was able to squeeze me in the next day for the procedure, Radiesse injections to address marionette lines. I left the clinic minimally swollen and with no bruising. Next day, it was just a better youthful me without much bruising at all. What an angel's touch. Highly recommend, ladies. Do not hesitate!

Dr. Des is so passionate about patient care & education! I appreciate her approach & openness to using treatments that are beneficial for her patients. As someone with an underlying auto-immune condition, I knew there were benefits to GLP-1 medications that would help me, but man I did not realize the impact it could make! I went from being borderline insulin resistant to a normal A1C, my genetically high cholesterol dropped, my insomnia & fatigue improved, & my joint pain pretty much went away! So many benefits other than weightloss for these medications & I appreciate her willingness to work with patients like myself to help me feel better & more functional again!

I just returned from an apt with Dr Des and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. Des is incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the entire process in a clear and reassuring way. She took the time to discuss my goals and made personalized recommendations based on my facial anatomy. She texted me this morning to check in. Not only are her services professional, but the pricing was also very fair, with no hidden fees. I felt confident that I was getting great value for the expertise and quality of care provided. Dr Des is awesome! She is so professional, knowledgeable and skilled. As an NP myself,I am aware of all the other less qualified injectors who try to act above their scope and am critical of other injectors. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Des this past year. As an esthetician in the industry as well as one of her clients, I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her and her practice. Dr. Des has an approach that is thoughtful, honest, and the results are superlative and incomparable to previous treatments I have received in the past from others. My confidence throughout this year has boosted in a way that I never thought I would feel, I will never go to anyone else for my aesthetic injections. My most valued aspect of her approach is her wish to enhance your natural beauty. Her holistic mindset transfers into her practice, I instantly felt safe in her presence. After my first treatment, I knew that my loyalty to her would be perpetual. The results were something I never thought I could achieve. She is incredibly knowledgeable, her passion for what she does is unmistakable and her compassionate approach made me feel incredibly seen and understood. I have done both Xeomin and Daxxify (neurotoxins) with her, as well as RHA lip enhancement. Before, I was getting Botox for years and receiving an astronomical amount with minimal results. The first Xeomin session with her, she used a “micro-tox” method and did a quarter of what I used to receive when using Botox - the results left me in awe. Soft and natural, she was able to lift and target specific areas without making me look artificial. Recently I tested Daxxify with her, a new neurotoxin in the aesthetic industry and I am just as in love with it as I am with Xeomin. I have a fast metabolism, and both neurotoxins have lasted twice the amount of time as previous injections I was receiving. Daxxify results usually show within the first 5 days, for me personally I see results within 2. They’re both wonderful options, during her thorough consult she helps you decide and understand what the best option will be for you and your desired results. My last sentiment is her amazing eye and technique with lip enhancements. She used RHA on mine, I was incredibly nervous due to the stigmas of society and not wanting to look overdone as a personal preference. She not only made me look completely natural, the experience was nearly painless (something I also was nervous about). My lips look hydrated, with the perfect plump I was hoping for. Truly exceeded my vision while also communicating throughout the procedure to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the results at the end. Overall, Dr. Des is a beacon of light and talent. I am so grateful to have found an injector that I trust so deeply, her intentions are pure and her genuine love for wanting people to feel beautiful in the skin they’re in is profuse. Thank you Dr. Des, you have changed my life and have brought me a form of self love that will stay with me forever.
