I have gone to Shannon for about a year now we have done a lot of fun color to my hair. We are now working on going to a dimensional blonde. Not to the final product yet I really appreciate the care she has taken to make sure my hair is a healthy blonde 🖤 (the picture with bangs is where we currently are I love it !)

Went to Shannon with the idea I wanted to brighten up my already red hair with a much richer brighter shade instead I left with very different colors and was not even toned. She offered to fix and I wasted another few hours in her chair this time with a haircut since I was rushed out on my initial appointment. My hair is way too short and the color is awful. Before and after pictures. The before photo was taken two months ago and was even toned at least more so than it is now. She left color on my hairline and my time and money is wasted. Do not recommend. Also when someone wants a trim or to just get an even haircut that doesn’t mean chop 3 inches off.

Just got done with my first haircut here with Cierra! This was my first time getting my hair done in general since I started growing it out, and I'm super glad I went with this place :) Very chill vibes, welcoming atmosphere, and Cierra was super helpful in answering my questions and getting me started with a new routine! I'll definitely continue going here for the forseeable future.

Great salon with a quirky sci-fi esthetic. Stylists are talented, and scheduling is open enough I have never had a problem getting an appointment with about a weeks notice. Highly recommend. Update: I will be getting my haircut here again tomorrow with my daughter. Will try to include pictures. Update 2: My partner got really pretty extentions put in. I don't understand the specifics, but her hair looks thick and pretty.

Super cute aesthetic. The staff is friendly. Kirstin is great. Researched a ton of salons prior to making any appointments and Sector 7 was recommended highly by so many.

I had a wonderful time with Kirsten! I asked for a cool blonde Balayage and she gave exactly what I wanted along with a super cute cut. She was kind, funny, professional and very talented. I was impressed with the quality of the work for the price. The studio itself is super fun and quirky and full of Star Wars and other fandom faves. I plan to return! She also uses all cruelty free products which is a great plus.

My home is in Houston Texas and while I have visited several stylists in Texas I can honestly say absolutely no one has ever done justice to my hair like Michael Cano. He sees what I am trying to explain and creates it perfectly. He is a true artist.

This salon is so cool but in a nerdy way. Super geeky memorabilia everywhere, and the salon is a big open space. Very chill vibe and to top it off, I got a great haircut. I would definitely recommend this place!

Fun place with amazing stylists. They make a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. I have been seeing Cierra for a couple years for coloring and cutting my hair, and they always do an outstanding job.

I love this salon! Everyone is very nice and welcoming, and they make you feel at home. I’ve been seeing Shannon for 6+ months and she is fabulous! I love the layout of the salon it has a nerdy flare- like starwars and star trek and what not. I absolutely recommended going here and seeing Shannon!

I took my daughter to see Shannon W for a cut and color. She made us feel so comfortable and welcome. She took her time and made sure my daughter looked as good as possible. The salon itself is super cool and I love and chill. If you have anxiety or get overstimulated easily, this would be the perfect place for you! I will for sure going back to see Shannon!

I went and saw Shannon at Sector 7 after frying my hair by doing some diy dye jobs. She was absolutely amazing and brought life back to my hair. My session with her was very chill and comfy and she’s become mine and my wife’s go-to stylist. She’s a master at what she does and her expert skill continues to surprise me each time. Shannon knows exactly what she’s doing so don’t take her talent or advice lightly!

My first time coming here and Lizzie did a great job. Everyone there is supper nice and friendly! I will definitely be coming again! The area seems a little weird but once I got inside I felt very safe and comfortable. Lizzie really did a wonderful job she is very friendly and easy to talk to.10/10 would definitely recommend! She really got the black hair dye out!!

My spouse and I came here to get their hair done. It's a nerds paradise! Kept finding a new themed item every where we looked. We saw Sydney and she was so sweet and very professional. I love what she did with my spouse's hair, and they're feeling so much better about them self. Definitely coming back!

Sector7 is an amazing queer/nerd salon. Every station is decorated with nerdy things like outlines of the Enterprise, X-Wings, and the Tardis. Sydney does my hair and it always looks amazing. Kristen does waxing and is super talented! The salon offers drinks including a complimentary wine or beer during your appointment. If you're queer or nerdy, this is the salon for you!!

This salon is amazing and so accepting and inviting to be around! ❤️ My stylist Lane, is so wonderful at cutting and coloring hair. They did an amazing job on my hair! I have a hard time finding a stylist and I have had some bad experiences else where, but this place was amazing and I will be coming back again and again. Lane is amazing! 🥺☺️

We desperately needed proper haircuts so I found this LGBTQ-friendly salon, Sector 7. I had searched Reddit for a hair salon, and saw a question in the Sacramento sub for an LGBTQ-friendly salon, checked it out and saw this highly-recommended one. I picked it 'cause I knew I'd feel comfy there with my social anxiety. I was right! My stylist, Lane, asked how I found them, and I told her. She agreed happily, as she's not comfortable herself in typical, kinda snooty salons. This place has cool people, and neat, geeky decor. The mirrors were framed with sci-fi themes, like the Millennial Falcon, Batman, a Tardis, and so on. The table in the middle of the salon was inlaid with comic book pages. Super cool. They offered us water, tea, and beer(not any old beer, beer from the LGBTQ-friendly brewery, King Cong, just down the block where the staff hang out frequently, as I was told by my stylist who was new, but hasn't been there yet(she's very new to the salon). I'll take their and her word for it, and so we'll be visiting that brewery soon). My stylist, Lane, was awesome. She cut my hair perfectly. I asked for THE perfect haircut and she delivered. I highly recommend her. Thank you, Lane and California. You're awesome.
