Very disappointing, waste of health, money, time and product. I went to do a root color ( Jan 8). The master didn’t read the instruction of product, and applied wrongly on my hair, after washing - the color didn’t changed absolutely. I was blamed I didn’t explain how to use the product I brought, and that I still have to pay double if I their color it again. I had trip next day I asked to apply again, with wet hair at winter time I went home as color should stay 30 min, and their closing by 7. At January being out in the street with wet hair made me sick till today.

I recently visited Selis Eyebrows for a haircut, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I specifically requested a trim of just 1-2 inches, but the stylist ended up cutting off nearly 6-7 inches of my hair about a third of my overall length! Despite my clear instructions, the outcome was far from what I wanted, leaving me quite upset. To make matters worse, even after realizing the mistake and seeing that I was unhappy, they still charged me the full amount for the haircut. This lack of accountability and customer care added to my frustration. If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend being extra cautious and making sure your instructions are fully understood and followed. While mistakes can happen, the way this was handled was disappointing. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.

The girl over there is good but when u ask for eyebrows waxing or face waxing , she blows air in your face from her breath to cool down the wax which is totally unhealthy thing!

Good service they’re accommodating but understaffed. Price is not consonant with a neighborhood eyebrow shop.

OMG literally some of the best threading and waxing work I've come across! As someone who really only gets their waxing and threading done when abroad in Asia, this brings me right back home and makes me know I can trust their work. Not only are they some of the fastest services ever, they are so detail-oriented and make sure you are leaving happy with what they've done! Amazing, would definitely recommend!

I love this place they do an impeccable job on my eyebrows. The other day I took a chance on having my haircut by Sunni. Sunni is new to Selis but has 10 years of experience and it shows. I got the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. He washed my hair incorporating a great head massage, he cut with great care and precision and then did a blow dry and style, I felt like a new person. I hope everyone decides to take a chance with a haircut by Sunni, you won’t be disappointed.

I got a full Brazillian wax done ($55 for front, $30 for back) in about 30 minutes, truly a fast and thorough job. Sel is very friendly and checks in to make sure you are comfortable throughout the session. They also have two wax options, a soft and hard wax (I chose the hard wax). I've gone to her twice now and truly amazed at her clean and quick work, even on my fairly coarse hair. I cannot recommend her services enough, absolutely fantastic job!

Decided to get my eyebrows done here since they are located near by. I am so happy I did because I have only had amazing experiences here. Everyone is very kind and gentle. They offer many other great services too! 10/10 recommend!!

I have been coming here to get my eyebrows threaded for a year now. They always do a great job! Really enjoy the relaxing mini massage on my face after the threading.. they also have a punch card and can get a free threading after so many visits! come here!

Enice did a wash/blow dry/straightened my hair and it turned out amazing! Same great quality as any upscale salon. IDefinitely will be going back. My advice would be to make sure you are detailed on how you want your hair styled so that way you are leaving completely satisfied. My eyebrows also turned out amazing!!!! Thank you ladies as always!

Eyebrow threading was fine. But geez this is the worst haircut I’ve ever had! Queer folks, steer clear for haircuts. I have had to fix my hair constantly because the cut is so bad. And I paid more, 1.5–2x similar neighbood places. I am a queer person and went in for a short haircut. It’s always a gamble finding a good place for queer haircuts, but I really do not recommend this one.

Selis Eyebrows is my new go-to salon for eyebrow threading. Prior to switching over to Selis Eyebrows, I frequented a place further South but when I moved further North I needed to find a place closer to me. Like most Yelpers I checked out a few places in the area before finally coming across Selis Eyebrows. The brow technician that I met during my first visit is what made them stand out from the rest. Anytime I visit a new brow salon I bring a reference photo of my favorite brows. I show them so they can visualize how I like my brows. This may seem extreme but I do not have much luck with salons that have rotating technicians. I have a shaved head so having messed up brows impacts my face even more. The technician I encountered was so sweet and understanding. She assured me that all of the salon technicians focus on cleaning up the brows during your first visit. They like to follow your natural brow line unless you state you want something in particular. She made me feel at ease and I loved the end result. Since I waited a longer period of time to visit my brows were more messy which typically hurts more but she was gentle. I took a long time grow out my eyebrow tips from the years of waxing and trying to force myself to have an arched brow. During my visit she didn't default to making my brows thin and kept them fuller which is my preference. The inside of the salon is spacious and always clean. Every time I've visited there wasn't too much of a line. I normally visit on the weekdays not around their peak hours. They do offer appointments if you are pressed for time and don't want to wait. I hope Selis Salon stays in the area for a long time because they are top notch.

This place is so reasonably cheap. The quality is top notch here. Felt welcomed from every employee here. Did a great job and explained every step to me of my service. I'm coming back here because they have a huge list of services . Never have I experienced this in any other state where you can get 5 things done in one place. Amazing job Candace.

Your outcome with this place is a coin toss; you might leave with either stunning brows or a nightmare on your face. I walked into the salon with eyebrows but left without them. Although I typically trust the woman who usually does my eyebrows, on this occasion, a young girl took the initiative to take care of me. In hindsight, I should have questioned this decision. But since the woman didn’t say anything, I trusted the situation. Instead of a simple cleaning, she took it upon herself to remove most of my eyebrows without consulting me first. Her reasoning was that she didn't know me, but that should have been even more reason to ask for my preferences. This is the second time someone else has touched my eyebrows and left me with nothing to fix, and I can't help but feel that they're just hiring anyone to do this delicate work. They offer free tinting to repair the damage, but I’m hesitant after the results I’ve already seen. I feel extremely disappointed and embarrassed, especially when they surrounded me to keep people from seeing me. I was a loyal and understanding customer since they opened, but this experience is too disappointing to overlook. See deflection in their reply below:
