I've been coming to Sen for several years now, and Keiko (Kay) always does such an amazing job with my hair! My Asian hair is fairly straight despite its thickness (aka I don't fall into the typical thin straight hair category), and she always knows how to layer it so that it's super low maintenance.

This used to be my favorite hair salon—I came here for two years with no issues. Today I was running late for the first time, and they cancelled my appointment and made me pay the FULL price of the trim. Will NEVER come back here again. Save your money and go somewhere else. The customer service here is absolutely ridiculous.

My go to salon for thr past few years. I have fine straight Asian hair, and they're always able to style it just how I want it. Whenever I go in wanting to switch up my hairstyle, they always follow through with my vision. Very professional, clean, and transparent. Always a pleasure to visit.

I had been looking for a salon in Brooklyn with Asian hair expertise since I previously went to stylists in Manhattan. I’m so glad to have tried Sen and will be returning. Rumi was incredibly attentive to understanding the specific style I wanted. She took time to ask thoughtful questions while also offering her insights. As you would expect from peeking in from the street, the experience inside is serene and lovely. I love my cut in addition to the wonderful scalp massage and products used throughout. So thrilled to have a stylist nearby!

I’ve been going to chinami for over 20 years!!! I followed her from her time at a different salon in Manhattan and once she opened her own salon in Brooklyn, I travel further to see her. Well worth it!!!! My daughter now goes to her too. She not only delivers the haircut you want, she advises if maybe it cannot be achieved due to hair texture. Bring a picture. That’ll help the process. She is also an amazing colorist. I had her help me with my wedding hairstyle too. Total trust. Highly recommend her and her team!!!

Wonderful experience!! I came with my mom and sister who got a blowout and a scalp massage, whereas I got just a scalp massage. Excellent service, the staff couldn’t have been any more kind and accommodating. Such a relaxing experience, we will definitely be back!

Chinami has been my stylist for over 10years. I moved west, but will always come back because she is simply the best. She has an incredible eye for what will be flattering on someone. And she is also an incredibly kind human being.

Went in for a haircut to give my hair a refresh and outside of taking off an inch and a half, it didn't really feel like much was done. And this was a higher level stylist. Great local salon, but haircut felt a little (for lack of a better term) lazy.

First time here and everyone was so extremely friendly and professional. The head massage during shampoo was incredible and lengthy. My stylist Kay was very cool and kind and gave me the exact haircut I asked for. Glad to have found a salon in Brooklyn that I want to return to again and again!

I just tried this hair salon for the first time today and saw Akiko. The salon is very convenient as it is located in Brooklyn right on Atlantic avenue. The space is welcoming with a backyard garden that you can see into. Akiko took her time speaking with me to find out what I was looking for with my haircut and to talk about what type of cut would work best for my hair. She then gave me the most wonderful shampoo and head massage, which was such a nice surprise. She took her time cutting my hair as we discussed and then finished the cut once it was blown dry. My haircut was the best I've had in years and I booked my follow up cut for 3 months. I highly recommend this salon as it is professional and provides quality cuts where you don't feel rushed.

I've gotten great haircuts here. For men's haircuts it costs about $70, reasonable considering it's mostly done by scissors. The head massage during hair wash feels nice and soothing. Def recommend!

Got a cut from Rumi for my first time here - I really loved the experience! The interior is calming and comfortable. Rumi asked a lot of helpful questions about my cut and made sure to give me what I wanted and needed. It was such kind and quality service, I will definitely be returning.

I had such a good experience here! I was desperate to get a haircut in the same day for an important meeting the next day and they squeezed me in with rumi. She knew exactly what I was going for with blunt bangs and cut and I got exactly that. I feel super amazing from my haircut
