I’ve always had a great experience at Serenity. The staff is friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled. I’m often impressed by their deep understanding of muscular structure and can pinpoint and work out tough knots with precision while also using a gentle touch to help me fully relax.

Today was my first time of going there and it was worth every penny CoCo was extremely good at giving my massage she definitely knows what she is doing far better than any other places I've been to and I'll definitely be back soon

This may have been the best message that I have ever had. I was skeptical because it was a walk-in and I was not familiar with this business but I was pleasantly surprised and left feeling amazing. I will be going back and would recommend Serenity Massage to anyone and everyone.

This is the worst massage parlor services in the state of South Carolina!!! I wish I can give them a -0. The entire time of both ladies massaging me they was talking back and forth , there’s no type of relaxing in this place. The lady nails was super long and cut me multiple times. They will charge you for something that you didn’t ask for, they definitely will take advantage and harass you for a Tip, Tip, Tip” like come on can I at least pay for my services first. Don’t ever go here.

Had a couples massage with my husband. It was the worst massage I’ve ever had. The lady was so rough and had such long nails she was scratching me the whole time. I’ve had massages before and it was like they had idea what they were doing, just rubbing oil on me and digging their thumbs into my shoulders. I’m aching from how rough they were even after I told them it was too strong. First Lady didn’t understand English so eventually switched because the other one had to keep translating but she was rough too. I just wanted this experience to end it was so painful and terrible. After we left I asked my husband how his was and he said it was ok but that it felt like they had no idea what they were doing. What a waste of money and my poor shoulders are in pain. Yes it’s true they use a sketchy paper towel to “protect” your face in the hole. Yes the sheets are gross and smells mildewy. Again, the worse massage ever. I am so angry at how much pain I am in and how much money I wasted. They were so rough with my head my hair is still falling out from them “tugging” at my scalp. This place is terrible. Go at your own risk, don’t say I didn’t warn you. My husband did a TERRIBLE job choosing this place.

I sent my husband here for Valentines Day, based off of the reviews. He didn't like it. He mentioned that his massage therapist kept coughing and leaving the room because of it and her nails continously scratched him. The massage wasn't good at all, he mentioned. I asked him how was his massage and his response was... terrible!

Overall, the massage was barely ok. Mostly a similar to a mall chair massage with hot stones. I’ve had approximately 30 massages in my life and never have I had such a bizarre and uncomfortable experience. I’m new in town and wanted to treat my boyfriend to a nice treat for Valentine’s Day. We went for a couples massage. There was one singular massage license displayed which is off putting for there supposedly being multiple therapists there. Not any paper work to go over allergies, pressure, medical things etc. We arrived 20 minutes early and were rushed into our massage room. walking into the room they had paper towels over the face holes in the tables which makes me highly suspicious they don’t change the bottom sheet between clients. There was zero communication with either massage therapist and I ended up with a nasty burn on the back of my knee from a hot stone. They didn’t allow any chance to communicate preference of gender of my massage therapist and I was incredibly uncomfortable having a male the entire time. My underwear was pulled down way past my comfort level as was my partners. The entire thing felt rushed and like I was a fresh fish at market with how rough it was. It was a back only massage with an insane amount of difference between my and my partners experience.

I called asking if Serenity Massage would see me on short notice as a walk-in, after being turned away by a couple other spots in town that were fully booked. Lily was took me in on short notice and even had another masseuse come in on their day off in order to accommodate my request. I highly appreciate her and the staff member’s prompt response time. I’ve never really had a massage before, so I was skeptical going in. I work a physically demanding construction job and hurt my lower back powerlifting, so I was desperate for a quick solution. I chose a 2 hour massage with Lily, who did an amazing job of giving me deep, hard pressure. She restored a lot of range of motion to my back, and I was able to go home and do a lot of stretching and a workout with a PVC pipe, all of which I was incapable of doing before the massage due to pain. The last comment I’ll make is how clean and well kept the facility is, as well as how professional and comforting Lily is helping me get through my first massage. I’ll definitely be going back.

Our best couples massage and one of the best massages I've ever had! Kind and accommodating people that run the place - we were running late due to a longer than expected doctor appointment and they let us call one hour before the appointment and move it back 30 minutes. They used the strength of their fingers and hands too - but gently where needed. ...not like the overbooked elbows and forearms masseuses I've come across. That always feels more like a jabbing battery powered massage device and is a waste of money and time. I hope to come back for sure!

I am lmt and I was honest skeptical about place when I walked in. But I was wrong! The therapist I had, her name is lily (I believe ) and my cousin had someone else who was also good. Massage was good, good pressure on point where I need to focus without telling them. I didn’t even fill out an in take form (weird). I believe you get discounted for first time. I had 90min plus free hotstone add on for $100. (Totally worth) Lily speaks chinese but able to understand some English. I’m not from sc but I would go back to them when I’m in town again.
