New ownership has driven this salon into the ground. Stop by to schedule a haircut and all the hair stylus are gone. Might as well go to Supercuts. To bad used to be a great place.

I had an amazing experience at Serenity Salon and Spa! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxing. The staff was friendly, and attentive to every detail. Since the new ownership took over, it has been so bad. they don't value their employees who are so talented. Four of them who I loved left the place and it has not been the same since. The two girls left first! They were there for 8 years and the other two 20 years. One of the hairstylist saved my hair extensions which I paid $300.00 for and they refused to give them back to me. They mess up. I don't think they will survive past this year. bad karma coming. It is too bad. I really loved that place. I am going to find them wherever they went. Waiting to hear back from my friend who is good friends with them.

The best & most accommodating salon experience I’ve had! I have struggled since moving to Florida to find a salon that not only does my hair exactly how I like it, but also makes my entire appointment feel welcoming, comfortable, & luxurious. Also, love that I can also get facials & my nails done here as well. Maida is an incredible esthetician and I highly recommend booking with Sergio for blowouts! Found my forever salon!

We will not be coming to Serenity ever again. The owner sent a text to Francisco & Jose firing them. Both of these guys have been the glue that has held Serenity together. Every time we have been in Serenity both Francisco & Jose have been working very hard to take care of their clients. Not only were they fired the owner has yet to pay both Francisco & Jose for services rendered. Also, Jose & Francisco had a lot of their own furniture & plants there at Serenity. The owner said they could not have their furniture. Do yourself a favor and find Jose & Francisco at Salon Lofts in Citrus Park.

Kari Amaya cut my hair this week for the 1st time. I have medium length very wavy, curly hair. I just wanted a trim and she took her time, she listened, and made sure we were on the same page. Kari did an excellent job! I highly recommend Kari!

I had the best experience with Jose & Francisco at this salon! They took the time to explain what they were doing, and made sure I felt comfortable during the whole process. My hair turned out better than I could have imagined. I highly recommend them for anyone wanting to change up their hair!

I'm a customer for years. Now, this last time I went very disappointed. I had to come back the next day to be blow dried and style. The haircut was not like usual, and neither was the service. Then, I was charged $150 bucks for something that wasn't done right. I had to change my review.

Francisco and Jose are the best! They’re always so sweet and welcoming. My aunt and cousin recommended them when I moved here. I trust them with my hair and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They also ask me about my family and care about their clients. 10/10! ❤️

I am a bit confused as to how there are any positive reviews about this salon. I suspect they may be deleting negative reviews. This is by far the worst salon I have ever been to in regard to customer service and quality. I went in and asked for balayage and showed the stylist the model photo with light brown caramel highlights. She seemed to have no idea what she was doing and ended up lightening my hair too much and I left with an ashy blonde color which looked horrible and was not what I asked for. She said it looked like my photo and it was just the salon lighting (??) but if i still didn't like it she would fix it in a few days. I ended up calling back the next day and the receptionist (who was also rude) told me she wouldn't be back until July so i decided to have another stylist fix it. He ended up dying my hair red and in some places it legitimately looked pink. I told him this was too red and also not what I asked for and he told me it was the best they could do and now it will take a month for me to get to the color I asked for but only if I kept coming to him and having him fix it. When I came back and asked for a refund since it looked awful the stylist came out and yelled at me and told me that I don't deserve a refund and life isn't fair and that this is now my reality. I left and contacted the owner who was a despicable man who accused me of lying and said the stylists both said I left happy when that was clearly not the case. He also said both hair colors looked fine when they are both extremely unflattering and completely not what I asked for. He basically kept stringing me along saying he will contact the stylist and see if he could offer me a refund and never got back to me. Please avoid this salon at all costs. They do not know what they are doing and will verbally abuse you if you mention that they did not meet your standards.
