Sergio has been doing my hair for a few years now. I have never left his salon unsatisfied. He is awesome with both cut and color, and his prices are reasonable. I am really picky about how my highlights are done (I like a bright, but natural, look), and Sergio gets it right every time. I got my hair done yesterday and in addition to highlights, Sergio cut some long layers. I am OBSESSED with my hair right now. I simply LOVE it. I highly recommend Sergio for styling, cut, color, and highlights.

It took a while for me to feel confident enough to write a review about this, but I just want to warn other people. The man that did my hair was incredibly unprofessional the entire time, I think he was the owner, walked away multiple times on the phone while he was in the middle of putting my color on. He barely asked any questions, was more interested in talking to the other people in the salon than make sure he was doing his job. He asked me if I had a sensitive head, and when I said yes he still proceeded to yank the brush through my hair without holding it so that it didn't pull out. I left with a horrible headache. When he was taking pictures of my hair the entire salon laughed at me when I didn't really understand how he wanted me to show my hair off. It took me over a year to feel confident enough to go to another hairstylist again. Don't spend your money here.

Sergio's Hair Salon has such a beautiful and inviting ambiance. Very professional and both masters of their crafts. Antoinette at Sergio's is an amazing Hairstylist! She's been my doing my hair for 7 years and she's the only person I trust to touch my hair! If you're looking for an amazing stylist,book with her immediately!

Antoinette did such an amazing job with my partial highlights and trimming my hair. I have been coming to Antoinette for a few years to transition to gray and she has kept my hair looking fabulous and very healthy. I will continue to refer my friends and family to Antoinette.

Antoinette was my stylist. She was nice does not know what she is doing though and still took my money and tried to make me feel it was an amazing job instead of admitting mistake. Had a terrible experience. Was supposed to be a dark to light ombre. She highlighted the root of my hair and dyed all the blonde in my hair a Grey color. I showed her what I wanted more than once asked ahead of time if she was comfortable doing my hair due to previous mess ups. She said yes I'm a color specialist . Apparently not .When contacted owner no reply not a sorry nothing. Will never recommend for anyone. Now will have to process my hair again to have it fixed. I'm so sad when i look in the mirror. And also I wasted 250 I didn't have to waste.

Antoinette is amazing but unfortunately she doesn't admit that she make a mistake,This is my third time in this beauty salon, she works well, but today I told her that I wanted her to do some pink highlights in the back of my hair plus design it,I didn't like the work she did, I expressed mysel about it,she was upset, she blamed my extensions that they were of poor quality and it is not true the strange thing is that I wear them for a month now and we have designed it several times with another salon and I have not had a problem, I did not like the result and she got upset and kicked me out of the salon, I think that a person has to be professional and if they do not like that people They them they mistakes,then she is wrong profession, I was sad because tomorrow I'm going on a trip and my hair was horrible, I went to another salon and they fixed my hair, what they told me was that she was doing the iron to hot,that's why she burn my hair.lesson learned I will never go back there

I hadn't gotten a haircut in a long time and was having a lot of trouble with dry, split and L shaped ends. I was super excited to come in and cut this off and also get some professional advice on caring for my hair in the future. When I got scheduled with the owner for my cut I was even more excited to hear his opinion and advice since he has been doing hair for years. However, when I sat down for the cut he really wasn't interested in talking about my hair at all. The only two questions he asked were How do you want your hair? And How do you part it? I showed him a reference photo and told him about the struggles I had been experiencing. He just said Mhm and was clearly more interested in the conversation his other client and a few others were having. I gave up at that point and just finished the cut. I did like it and my hair feels better but I'm just disappointed in the experience and I'll be checking out other places in the future

I paid 950 in total for a color correction only for my hair to come out more damaged and patchy than before. Although Izzy was kind and easy going, I wouldn’t recommend him or consider him a specialist in different hair types as he claims, as no extra steps were taken to ensure my hair texture wasn’t compromised, just a simple bleach bath. I do however want to give credit because he was very nice and easy to work with but my hair is extremely patchy and I would need to go to another stylist to get the problem fixed. I would recommend him for haircuts but definitely not coloring.

My guy whose been cutting my hair for the past 15 years is MIA... I've been wanting to try out Sergio's. Antoinette was amazing! Talk about a quality cut and customer service. I showed her a picture of a cut and we discussed why I liked it. She totally tailored the cut! I looked in the mirror and said, "Ohhh, you are cute!" I have found some to trust with my hair. Thanks Antoinette!

Erica has been doing my hair for over two years. I waited for over 5 years to find a new stylist as I had been highly disappointed with stylists in the past, after my previous stylist moved out of state. All I can say is Erica is passionate, experienced, and super knowledgeable on her practice! Not only does she make herself up to date on all new and upcoming methods but she masters everything she does! Erica has done everything I have asked for 110% every time! Definitely recommend her and will not go anywhere else! ❤️

Sergio cut my hair, he clearly had somewhere else to go, made several remarks about being in a hurry. Needless to say the cut was terrible. I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness, it looked like it was a great professional shop ten years ago and hasn't been wiped down or maintained since. I would have turned around at my first step in but I was going out of town. Next time I'll just put my hair up.

Sergio does not know how to cut curly hair. And he said he did when i made my appointment. My hair looks like a box. I was a little hesitant at first when i walked in the door. I said ill gave them a chance. I should have followed my gut feeling a ran out of the salon. Big waste of time and money. He also has unlicensed person putting on brow and lash tint. She burned my eyes when wiping them.

Erica does the best hair extensions is Albuquerque! I’ve been going to her for my tape and hand tied weft extensions for almost 2 years now and I will never go anywhere else. She has amazing customer service and is always there to give you advice on how to take care of your hair. I would 100% recommend her for any of her hair services.

Erica is amazing! She installed two Rows in my hair, that came out looking so natural. My extensions blend perfectly, and actually feel so comfortable! I’ve had extensions done in the past for months at another salon. Although they were beautiful they were never truly comfortable; Erica’s method is seamless and she really makes sure to pay attention to detail. I’m very happy!

One of the best hair salons in abq the staff is so welcoming and educated in their profession! I always leave loving my hair and more confident. The extensions Erica gives me are amazing, did not take long to put in, she informed me of the maintenance, and I will forever go to Sergio’s! Any reference photo I provide they always match and give advice for my next appointment :)
