I wish there were more stars to give. I have been a client of Adrienne's for a couple years now - cuts and color. I have large and curly hair that is course and complicated. She can do magic with it. She talks to me about what I want before we start. Sometimes I don't know what I want and she has suggestions. It's a great relationship! I've never left her salon not feeling like my hair looks its very best.

Honestly, a little disappointing. My curls are inconspicuous, weighed down easily and I’m growing my hair out. It’s normal for a stylist to assume at first they’re wavy, when they’re curly (looks like pillars). I came here because I know my curls have disappeared, since I haven’t been able to take care of it in many years, my split ends were gnarly, and wanted to finally give my hair a fresh start. I’m not upset about the expertise, but the assumption to treat my hair as if it were wavy without expressly stating that’s what their plan was bothers me. And I know that’s what happened, because my hair ended up getting diffused in a way that creates frizz and disrupts it’s natural curl pattern (which I can only guess was for volume that I didn’t really care about), and because I was told the only products added were a gel and mousse—nothing for hydration. My experience as a customer is that my goals for the visit and my own knowledge of my hair was disregarded. At the end of the visit I even added how my curls typically look when they’re showing (like pillars)—that I didn’t have an issue with my hair at the end because I didn’t expect my curls to automatically start reforming, bit that I didn’t want to come off as someone who doesn’t know what a curl looks like, as opposed to a wave. I was told lots of wavy-haired people say they have curly hair and it was normal. It’s unfortunate to have an experience where a curl specialist didn’t seem to understand some curls really can stretch out just because you weren’t able to style it before your visit. I think it would’ve been a better experience if I’d had the chance to discuss more of how my own texture works and looks before starting the process, instead of referring to some reference photos of what my hair may be able to do once I start getting regular trims again, with an end result that doesn’t resemble and no forewarning that my stylist thought my hair to be something else before washing and styling it. Re: Not sure how to respond to your message, since I can't find a response button, but I noticed you did, so I'm addressing it. Strange to me you chose to respond now, when my review was left seven months ago. Weird way of handling client retention. My experience would've been better if that very consultation you said you give actually was thorough, which is something you didn't give me the opportunity to. You would've also been able to understand my curl pattern, if you did that. Since my hair at the time was weighed down heavily and didn't have a good haircut, there wasn't a way I could style them in time for the appointment, which I also told you seven months ago. Your communication style wasn't helpful for me, and at times, disregarding to my own knowledge of my hair. As a stylist, you know plenty of curly girls use leave-ins, creams, lotions, before adding a holding product like gels and mousse strictly to support lasting hydration as well as definition. I would've told you that I didn't want a gel and mousse combo. You made a lot of decisions without speaking to me about what you were doing first. I'm not interested in coming back to your business. I think this is a lesson that even if someone says they're a curl expert, they might not be an expert on a specific curl type, because if they can't see it, they don't think it's real.

I've been going to Adrienne for over a decade, and I truly can't recommend her enough. My 13-year-old daughter had her first haircut with Adrienne, and we’ve never looked back. We are beyond blessed to have such a talented stylist right here in OKC! Adrienne’s expertise, especially with color, is unmatched. I get an insane amount of compliments on my color — she’s a true color genius. Her cuts and styling are flawless, and the overall experience of being her client is second to none. I've lived in NYC and Paris, and Adrienne is hands down the best stylist I've ever had. Until I met her, I never knew how much I could love my thick, wavy curls! My hair has never been healthier, or more fashion-forward, and I get compliments everywhere I go. Adrienne is not only an expert in her craft (she's constantly in demand for shows in NYC/LA & London), she's an awesome artist & human being who works to bring out the authentic personality and true beauty in every person lucky enough to sit in her chair and listen to her advice. I’ve been going to Adrienne for years! Not only has she turned my platinum blonde into the healthiest it’s ever been, she accommodates me when needed, always gives me the best hair advice & product details when I need new things for my healthy hair (thanks to her). I drove half an hour to see Adrienne on recommendation for a curly cut, and I am still bewildered at how rudely I was treated for absolutely no reason that I can come up with. I had an 11:30 appointment and she showed up at 11:29 to open the salon. The only thing I can think of is it was the day after Christmas so maybe she just didn't want to be there and was taking it out on me? When we were talking about what I wanted I was saying how I'm easygoing and not uptight about my hair and I'm open and she started telling me to stop getting defensive and that she is part of the process too. Absolutely NO CLUE what she was talking about?! She spent the rest of the appointment telling me the things I'm doing wrong with my hair (which is totally fine, she's the expert) but she was so rude about it. When she got out the hair dryer she literally smacked me in the head with it and didn't even say a word. I haven't the faintest idea what I did to her but it must have been really bad. I have never been treated so rudely by someone I was paying for a service. On the bright side I liked my cut, but I would certainly never go back.

I came to Amy after just having found out I was pregnant and I was losing A LOT of hair. My self confidence was at an all time low and she talked me off the “I should just shave it all off” ledge. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and friendly. My hair is now healthy and I left feeling happier with the way that it looks than I have in a long time. Thank you Amy for everything and I’ll definitely be back!!

I moved to Oklahoma from California about 1.5 years ago. I am very particular about my hair and had been seeing the same stylist for 15 years. I was definitely worried about finding someone new who could compare. Amy is the first stylist I tried and I won't go anywhere else. Her work is incredible and her personality is glowing. I get cut and color from her and my daughter gets cuts and we've never been anything but pleased. Amy is talented, personable, knowledgeable, friendly and I look forward to every appointment. Seven Alice Salon is owned by one of the coolest stylists in the world. Adrienne is not only a well rounded, talented stylist… she’s a wonderful person and fun to talk to. Being a salon owner myself, I have high expectations for cleanliness and this salon is simplistic & SPOTLESS. I went to a look & learn hair education class recently and was in love with the new space! If I didn’t have my own shop I would beg for her to make room for me. (DON’T DRIVE TO EDMOND, it’s on the east side of OKC now!) The other stylists were ALL so welcoming and so fun to be around as well! They ALSO have a resident shop ‘Dad’ and her name is Hannah. Adrienne was great!! This was by far the best salon experience I've ever had. I left feeling like my coily curls had been well cared for and expertly cut. Adrienne started with a dry cut and followed with washing, moisturizing, and styling. She talked to me the whole time about my current hair care routine and gave me tips and other ways to care for my curls. She's very knowledgeable about different cutting methods and it showed. I saw Adrienne for a curly cut and honestly it’s the best cut and styling experience I have EVER had. You will not regret seeing her! She put up with my nervous babbling (lol) and made my hair look better than it has in years 😭 She is so well versed in cutting and styling curly hair and after years of seeing stylists that are not, seeing her was a game changer for me. I will be making appointments to see her when I come back to visit since I’m moving out of state, I wish I had found her sooner!! 11/10 would recommend!
