Well designed, Very nice and clean building with great parking. The Owner and Master Stylist Angela is very professional and courteous and was gracious enough to wear a Nik of Time Travel BonNik for me. Lol.

After being natural for 5 yrs I decided to get a relaxer. I noticed the Shadez of Beauty Salon when I used to take my grandson to his daycare. I called Shadez of Beauty in Chesapeake and spoke to Mrs. Angela. She was courteous on the phone in setting my hair appointment. Today I arrive to an amazingly warm salon. Mrs. Angela and everyone were so welcoming. The aesthetics are gorgeous. Communication is OUTSTANDING! Prompt service, she hustled to get me done and was very attentive . Mrs.Angela asked what I wanted for my hair and made sure that we were both on the same page as to what was to be expected at my hair appointment. She and her staff present a professional, caring, friendly and fun environment. I am headed back to Washington state on Monday. Next time I come to town I will be back to visit Shadez of Beauty. I am so thrilled with my cut and relaxer. Oh my living life, I look like a brand new woman. I LOVE IT!!❤️❤️ I have been getting compliments all evening. HOOAH! Mrs. Angela and Shadez of Beauty.

I was hesitant in getting my hair done and trying something new. I spoke with Angela over the phone and told her my concerns and what I wanted. She was able to squeeze me into a appointment and was so professional and knew exactly what my hair needed to be healthy. I am definitely going back to her and I love my hairstyle.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I am not rating the shop as a whole, only one stylist in particular. Skyla. She provided me with the micro link service along with coloring my hair. The hairstyle itself was cute, however the quality of the work was HORRIBLE. And she severely damaged my hair. She over processed my hair during the coloring service which has resulted in my healthy hair now being dry, and extremely fragile and brittle. But it doesn’t end there, she should not be allowed to give anyone microlinks using the metowi method, as SEVERAL beads came out of my head with MY HAIR ATTACHED. She also lied to me about “texture matching”, as the wefts WERE NOT the same texture of my curl pattern. That being the main reason I got the style. She over charged me for the hair bundles and the style in total. The entire service was 960$. Not even a week after getting the style the wefts were slipping! I asked her to fix it and she referred me to a friend, who I had to pay an additional $250! I paid $1210 in total and what I walked away with is a bad hairstyle and damaged hair. I would not recommend this stylist to anyone. PLEASE STEER CLEAR!

Kim is very professional. She did an excellent job on my 95 year old grandmother's hair. The shop is clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this shop.

I LOVE IT HERE !!! KEV is my stylist , found him of instagram and style seat !! I have real big natural hair, and he was able to give me a full closure sew in that was so laid ! looked like I didn't have no braids under the tracks !! The atmosphere is great , great conversations, everyone in the shop helps each other out. They are talented stylists, with big dreams, and I hope they make it every step of the way !
