Went for usual color and cut. Doors are always locked so you have to call your hairdresser to let you in. Bathroom is clean and very nice. Lots of hallway seating. Love my stylist 💇‍♀️💆‍♀️ Plenty of parking and nearby shopping 🛍 and eateries.

I have very curly, thick, black hair and it's been a while since I've had a haircut. I've developed a curly routine that's helped a bunch but I wanted to get a trim, to make my hair even healthier, as well as to have my hair ready for an upcoming wedding. I booked and appointment with Tammi and when I tell you I had a wonderful experience, I truly did. Tammi is such a lovely individual and gentle when it comes to her profession. She as well made conversation, which I appreciated so there wouldn't be awkward silence. After cutting and styling my hair I've felt like a new person, my curls were thriving and even others notice and it had only been an hour at most. Most definitely will go back to her, again thank you Tammi, I greatly appreciate what you've done for me and as well for the recommendations you gave me.

My sister went to get her hair cut here and although the haircut was very cute it was not what she asked for and way too short. For the price point ($65) I would expect for her to receive the cut she wanted.

I had a bit of a hair cutting mishap that needed to be fixed quickly when Shagg salon came up as a recommendation. I have really long, thick, curly hair and it’s extremely difficult to find someone that can shape and cut my hair properly on a good day so I was a bit nervous knowing that I didn’t just need a regular hair cut but I also needed someone who could try to blend the 10in chunk of hair that was missing into my layers without having to cut my hair too short. I’m so glad I came across this Shagg because Tammi is AMAZING!!! Not only was she able to squeeze me in on short notice but she also gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten! She really knows her way around curly hair and helped bring my curls back to life!!! Thank you so much Tammi!

About a year ago a hairdresser told me that I had wavy hair and that I should see a specialist. About six months ago I got a second haircut and another hairdresser told me the same thing and sold me a couple products, which in fact, did start cultivating my waves. I finally decided it was time to go see someone who really knew what they were doing with curly hair and get some advice on styling and product. I did some research and found Tammie, saw the reviews pertaining to curly hair and thought I was in safe hands. I look like I’m trying to transition from Timothée Chalamet into Rachel Greene circa 1995. this haircut does not flatter me at all, it is completely destroyed all the work I’ve done to try and get waves, and if I do anything with it, I look like i’m going for my grandmothers 1985 haircut. The worst part about it is that Tammie seemed to forget why I was there. We had spent nearly 15 minutes on the phone a couple days ago talking about what I was trying to do and what I was looking for. I had also discussed all of this in an email with her. She didn’t talk to me about the products she was using, we had talked about air drying and she spent 20 minutes using a hairdryer on my hair and I think at some point during those 20 minutes she realized that she completely messed up and attempted to make curls out of what was left of my hair, which just turned my hair into a cloud. Would look cute on a 12-year-old, too bad I’m 44. Why didn’t I speak up? I was alone in the building with a woman holding a pair of scissors. Would you? I’d rather just never return and not recommend her to anyone who loves their hair or even remotely likes themselves.. Biggest regret of 2023, hands-down, worst haircut of my life. So much for summer, it’s too embarrassing to even go out.

I have been going to Tammi for more 20 years. and I will allow no one else to touch my hair. She is amazing at color and knows how to cut wavy hair. Her cut is always perfect and has been since my first visit. She listens and can always get the exact style I want, particularly as my hair has changed.

Tammi is an absolutely GREAT cutter for my curly hair! I searched for "curly hair haircuts" and found Shagg Salon. So very happy that I found this talented cutter! I like a "no fuss" haircut - the kind you can get out of the shower, towel dry, and just go. I am too lazy to go through blow dry etc. and her cut is perfect! Thank you!

Tammi is wonderful!!!! I have extremely curly hair, which I love to wear both straight and natural. The cut Tammi does on my hair allows me to style it which ever way I wish and my color is always on point! I also love going into talk and laugh - she is sooo personable!! 🥰

Tammi did an AMAZING job on my hair. I've got curly hair, and it can be hard to find someone who understands the importance of layering. She did such a wonderful job. She gave me high and low lights, and even had the challenge of fixing a bad coloring job from my last haircut. I highly recommend Tammi. She's very professional, talented, and friendly.

Tami did a great job with my haircut. She listens and does what you ask. I am new to Tucson and was cutting my hair very short. Previous experiences, there were always “fixes” because they missed spots, or things were uneven. With Tami, everything was perfect. She is very talkative and friendly. Highly recommended!

Tami is a very compassionate hairstylist. Her heritage in the industry is inspiring. Her knowledge about color, haircuts, and products is reassuring when venturing out to try a new style. I like to sport the copper red, which is hard to keep up. I love how she high-lighted and low-lighted my hair to give it a very natural soft look. So many people think I'm a natural red head, which is just the way I like it 😉

Tammi always does a great job with my hair and beard. They look as good at four weeks as they do right after I see her. My hair is curly, but she gets it to lie down when I mousse it, and it curls well when I don't. Her new place in the Sola Salon Studios is very nice. I'll definitely keep coming back.

I trust Tami implicitly - it's comforting to know that all I need to do is sit in the chair and she'll take care of me. I've never had a bad color or cut in the 5+ years that I've been going to her.
